Another Tuesday! although I won't be reporting hopefully with good news until Thursday night.

Right, also thought that starting a new thread every week for just us 3 was mad so thought we'd just have our own on going thread that makes it easier to look back on - is that OK with everyone?

Thanks Furball, had a lovely day, no cooking, lovely cards made by the children, one from hubby too, pretty, thoughtful pressies that I will use.

Sorry to hear about the jeans though, glad you enjoyed your run yesterday. I did a fitness video this morning, I'm trying to get back to 3-4 times a week, should be easier now that the mornings are getting lighter, oh just thought, we are going to lose 1 hour this weekend aren't we! I hate it when that happens.

Oh well weigh-in in a couple of hours. Will be back later to let you know how I got on.

Have a nice day.

Furball · 23/03/2009 09:50

Thanks smalline and good luck for this morning (I'm sure you won't need it!)

will pull my finger out for 1 month (I've been here before....) and try.

Thanks for the inspiration

Oh my goodness, I have put on 2lbs this week. Well it stops here & now, I am tracking this week (didn't last week), I've got to do something, I'm going to get back to my old fitness level, I'm going to lose the weight that I've put on recently and then lose some more.

Furball · 23/03/2009 15:54

Oh dear smalline - pants aint it? the whole friggin lot!

I did well till lunchtime the it went a bit downhill after.......

Think I need to see a hypnotist

OP posts:
Smalline · 30/03/2009 12:59

1lb off this week, I'm a little disappointed but better off than on I suppose.

Furball · 30/03/2009 21:43

well done smalline! - I've said it before but a pound is a pound

ONE POUND OF FAT

Hello! Do you know me? If you don't, you should.

I am ONE POUND OF FAT, and I am the happiest pound of FAT that you would ever want to meet!

Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me! After all, I am only ONE POUND OF FAT. Just ONE POUND.

Everyone wants to lose 3 or 5 or 15 pounds, but never ONLY one. So, I just stick around and happily keep you.
Then I am free to add to myself, ever so slyly, so that you never seem to notice... That is, until I have grown to 10, 20 or even 30 pounds in weight... YES... it is fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT... left to do just as I please.

So, when you weigh in, go ahead... just keep on saying, "Oh I only lost one pound." (As if that is so terrible.)
For you see, if you do this, you will encourage others to hang around me because they will think that I am not worth losing.

And I LOVE being around you... your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips, and every other part of you. HAPPY DAYS!

After all, I am ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT!!!

Many thanks Furball, I'll be looking at my half or 1lb weightloss differently from now on. How are you doing by the way?

Furball · 31/03/2009 15:45

well you know.........

I am eating smaller healthier meals (I know!) and also crossing my fingers I'm hoping to not think about food and just eat something sensible when hungry and not go bonkers.

OP posts:
Smalline · 01/04/2009 16:02

Sounds good to me Furball, are you still running cos that will eat up a good few of the excess calories. It's all about a healthy balance isn't it

I think I'm back to my normal level of fitness now, managed to fit in some Taebo last night, followed by a cup of coffee & 2 very small slices of cake.

Oh well, I'll have to try very hard over the Easter holidays not to eat too much chocolate!

Smalline · 03/04/2009 09:31

I'm seriously thinking of stopping my subscription with WW, and going it on my own. In the last 6 weeks I have lost half a pound. I'm going to keep on tracking what I eat, weigh myself on a friday morning (instead of a monday when I am at my heaviest).

I have managed to lose weight and keep it off by myself before, so I don't see why I can't do it now. I will sleep on this thought over the weekend and decide next week.

Have a great weekend.

Furball · 10/04/2009 07:26

how are you doing smalline

I really need to get back on the ole track. Will do it hopefully Monday [please! fingers crossed]

Might have to munch through some chocolate eggs along the way.

Hi Furball, Happy Easter.

Have been very relaxed eating wise this week, too relaxed in fact, eating what I want when I want. I can feel my clothes getting tighter already and it doesn't feel good. If I carry on this way, I'll be back to where I started in no time. I keep telling myself that I'll stop tomorrow but when tomorrow comes the cycle continues.

I'm just not focused at the moment, and don't know when I will be again.

Furball · 12/04/2009 11:40

Happy Easter to you too smalline

I could of written your post myself. but things are tight in the waistband and things are also tight over the waistband.

Tomorrow - It must start before I get even worse.

Happy Easter

Have put on at least a stone since having my gall bladder out.

Bought Wii fit as a family Easter present. I am going to try and do a bit every day especially once DC are back at school. Also would like to do some running but only round the field when i take the dog out. Too embarrassing to go past peoples houses.

My jeans are starting to get tight and also when they are tighter my zip keeps going down. !

Furball · 12/04/2009 19:50

Hi tortoise nice to hear from you

looks like we all need a good kick up the jacksey

OP posts:
Tortoise · 12/04/2009 19:54

Yup need a good kick! But then i always do!!

Smalline · 13/04/2009 12:03

Yep so we've agreed that we all need a kick up the jacksey.

Hello Tortoise, how are you getting on with the Wii fit?

How is it going today Furball

I weighed myself this morning, and it is worse than I thought. I am going to weigh myself on Fridays and post my weight loss/gain here, because I find that helps me a lot. I would love it if you ladies would join me, what do you think? or do you have any other ideas how we can motivate each other to lose weight?

Furball · 13/04/2009 14:24

I'll post mine on a friday, although I currently have no idea what my weight is. Hopefully it will shock me into something.

I've been ok today although just had a galaxy egg. - I've got 6 to get through although they are only creme egg size

Hows about you two smalline and tortoise?

OP posts:
Smalline · 13/04/2009 16:02

Not bad thanks Furball, I started yesterday as I always find Sundays easier than Mondays to start eating healthier. I had one cadburys creme egg yesterday, and 4 mini eggs. Today I've had 4 mini eggs, I'm going to try not to have anymore, if I feel hungry before dinner I'm going to fill up on fruit. Oh and I did an hours Tae-bo yesterday am aching from that. I also had 3 glasses of wine last night, there is no more in the house so won't be drinking until after my weigh-in on Friday.

Am so glad that you are joining me Furball, how about you Tortoise are you going to join us? the more the merrier I think!

Tortoise · 13/04/2009 18:27

Yep count me in! I will have to set some sort of reminder or i will forget though!

Been swimming with DC today and i tried to do a few lengths of the little pool while playing with them.

Having fun on the wii fit at the moment. I like hula hooping.

Have had 2 choc bars today and McDonalds after swimming. Cheese on toast for tea.

Furball · 14/04/2009 15:55

well, I can report I weigh 12.1 that is a whole stone and a pound more than I did in November.

It isn't and can't be a surprise for me - I've had a 'bloody good time'

today I have been out for the day with a picnic and had a really scrummy greek salad with balsamic vinegar followed by a yoghurt. It was plenty, I didn't need anymore and I must remember that.

WE CAN DO THIS

OP posts:
Tortoise · 14/04/2009 19:11

Going by the wii fit weight i am nearly 13 stone. Haven't tried on my scales yet. Will do that friday morning. Need to eat all the cocolates first! Doesn't help that DD's bought home choc cake and chocs for me from contact with their dad today. Late Birthday present.

I spent about half an hour on wii fit today and will try and do at least that daily.
