1 week weight in! I’m 38, 5’8.
Jan 7th - SW 19st 1.5 lbs
Jan 15th - 18st 11.7 lbs (-3.8 lbs)
First Dose 0.25mg
Jan 21st - 18st 6.1 lbs (-5.6 lbs)
I lost 3.8lbs first week with eating less, 2 meals a day and a biscuit n tea late evening after work. I wasn’t hungry that first week. I think it was anxiety of starting the wegovy, inspo from you ladies, and just sick to death of my eating habits (too many takeaways and chocolate).
I took my first shot on Monday and felt so nauseous. Didn’t sleep well all week until early morning then struggled to get up for work. Constipation ✅ Wasn’t sick. Took dulcolax as I can’t stand feeling constipated, that kicked in a day or so later. I tried to drink more water than usual but could have done better, that’s the plan for this week.
I’m going to take my second 0.25mg on the side of my thigh this week as I heard that on the tummy makes nausea worse for some. I’ll be weighing in on Sundays now as it’s a better day for me and plan to change my wegovy day to Sunday too. During the week is my nemesis having a desk job and my partner has a cheat meal on Fridays so it would be nice to join him. I couldn’t on Friday there but had a huge fish and chips yesterday, whereas during the week I couldn’t finish my soup.
I believe I’m under calories and don’t want to lose muscle mass so will be mindful of that. Might add protein water in the coming weeks and do some resistance training. Walking hasn’t happened much past 2 weeks as the weather has been guff but I’m going to start my mini trampoline indoors this week hopefully if side effects aren’t too bad. I’m under no illusion that my losses will taper or plateau, so I need to be proactive as I have a 12st goal to meet for my wedding.
Very happy with the current progress! According to my app I haven’t been this weight since 2017.
