@wevegotthepower That's the bit that worries me, I'm lucky that Wegovy is working very well for me, I have no desire to overeat and the weight is coming off quickly but I think this is the easy part, it's post Wegovy when the hard work starts.
I can't afford to do it long term though, I've never spent £169 a month on myself and although I'm saving a fair whack on food it's still expensive.
Initially I decided to give myself 6 months on it but might do 8 depending on what I weigh and then I'll be coming off it cold turkey.
All I can do is give it my best shot, I've yoyo dieted for over 25 years but only ever got to goal once when I was 21, since then I've gained and lost the same 3 stone so many times but never got into the healthy weight bracket.
It's been 7 years since I was a comfy size 14 and have ended up needing to lose 5 stone and I really feel this is my last attempt.
I've been so bloody miserable living with so much excess weight, it's dominated every single aspect of my life and health and I just can't throw it away and go back to where I was.
I'm planning to weigh weekly and tackle any weight gain as it happens and not let it build up, I've always eaten healthily but gained weight by all the mindless snacking in between which I've completely stopped and I'm hoping that after 8 months the habit will be broken.
Lastly I hope that the people on this thread continue on a "Life after Wegovy" thread where we can carry on supporting each other.
What are your plans?
