Starting Wegovy this week

Brand new waiting for 0.25ml wegovy to be delivered today and will start it tomorrow.

i currently weigh 14’7 at 5’6 and would love to lose 4 stone!

anyone else brand new to wegovy and looking for a buddy/chat?

0.25mg dose three done this morning. Lost 8 pounds in total so far (18 st 1 pound to 17 stone 7 pounds) which I'm happy with. My 0.5 pen has just been delivered ready for when I need it and I feel fine. I'm definitely carrying on with this. Still haven't told anyone I'm doing it though.

I am definitely sleeping far better! Still feeling fine, and appetite suppression still doing very well…really not sure whether to buy 0.5 pen tomorrow or stick with 0.25.

Today’s food: porridge with berries, small chicken salad, Mediterranean veg & feta wrap.

I'm also sleeping better but still not eating much and the burps are 🤢

I've felt worse this week, week 3, than I have to date, just really tired and stomach feels uncomfortable. Doesn't make much sense to me that it's worse now.
Just had a smaller portion of dinner than my 7 year old and definitely don't want more.
I have a 0.5 and 1 on order. I'm scared of moving up a dose. I think I will move up to 0.5 and see how I go. I might take half doses of the 1 pen.

My stomach seems uncomfortable this evening too. Think it’s the Costa panini and latte I had earlier which is sitting heavily in my stomach.

I am due to take my 4th 0.25 today but don't really feel the need - I did 8 days last week as was on holiday so I might do that again - when I was reading up about travelling it did say you could do 10 days
Overall weight loss in 3 weeks is 5kg (11lb) but I didn't lose anything in week 2 as I was on holiday (which I was fine with)
I have had sourdough bread a couple of times this week & find that it is sitting really heavily, just don't feel good with it so will be avoiding.
I am also waking up early this week (5 am) but it's hard to gauge this as my son is Autistic & he wakes me up as well.

@AhBiscuits i didn’t know you could order two pens in one go. Might do that next time.

Appetite is definitely under control now. I think I need to make sure I'm getting enough fruit and veg though, to help establish healthy habits. Also bought some protein powder as I noticed I'm not getting nearly enough.
So far into the second week I haven't felt anymore nausea, but am fatigued (although that could be anemia).

I get mine through health express and they offer a reasonable discount if you order 2 pens at once.

I decided to do another month at 0.25; three pounds lost already this week so 11lbs in 18 days - most of it after the first week.
Making up a hearty chicken/barley/vegetable soup today to last a few lunches.

I'm halfway through week 4 and have started with the sulphur burps and terrible diarrhoea, I've been eating very healthily and the last 2 days only had chicken and rice so I don't think it's that.

I'm hoping once my body is empty it'll settle down.

I started Wegovy last Thursday and I've had to force myself to eat all week. The tiredness passed after a couple of days too.

Lost 30lbs by eating healthier
Wegovy starting weight: 13st 13lbs

Week 2
Current weight: 13st 7lbs
Loss: 6lbs

I take my jabs on Saturdays and the effects definitely start to wear off by Thursday! That plus a massive relief of my constipation means I'm starving tonight

Phentermine is very different from Wegovy. I must admit I have tried it and it worked very well for me, but I have high blood pressure so can't get a prescription any longer. Good luck

Hi, I just started today and similar weight loss needed. Fingers crossed we both find success.

First Christmas lunch today. Three courses I ate all the fish cake starter. From the main which was turkey I ate the meat and veg and left the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and I ate half the Eton mess desert. Normally I would have eaten everything. My Christmas jumper was also definitely a bit looser than when I bought it a few weeks ago.

Only 1pound off for me this week which is sad, but my period is overdue by 4 days so fingers crossed that's it!

Off to take jab number three!

I totally forgot about this thread. I'm on jab 3 of 0.25. So far I'm 8lbs down which considering the time of year m very happy with.
No horrible side effects except a bit of indigestion and quesiness.

I am moving up to 0.5 dose today, other than the first week I have not lost much so far. But I've realised that I'm driven to eat by feelings other than hunger, so I need to work on that.

Did your diarrhoea take long to settle down? I have just swapped from 1mg ozempic to 1mg Wegovy and it’s horrendous.

Sorry for TMI but it’s like water every 40 minutes and I’ve had no sleep at all. DH has gone out for Imodium so I’m hoping it helps 😢

For anyone interested my period came and took another pound off with it! The flux is real.

So that's 6 pounds for me in two weeks, very happy as minimal side effects. Took dose three yesterday and think I might take a bigger dose next week

@AnneLarsen hope you’re ok that sounds horrific 😳 I’ve only had that side effect a couple of random times… nothing as bad as that! I hope the immodioum helps x
