I've just used Bury Healthcare after my usual company (Virtual Slimming Clinic) being out of stock for over 3 weeks on any pen. They couldn't have been more efficient - ordered yesterday and pen arrived this morning 👏🏼

I am using Bury Health care. The order hasn’t arrived yet but once I paid (last Thursdsy evening) I then had a consultation to fill in which arrived on Friday and then a phone call consultation today (Tuesday). Hopefully it will arrive soon now that all that is done.

The good thing is they have a price gradient with the different sizes. The was no 1mg in stock when I ordered but the 0.25 was significantly cheaper (and has the same contents as the slightly more expensive 0.5mg)

As I am at my 'comfortable weight' I was thinking of starting to wean off...but I am scared!!!

I've just received a new 1mg pen....thinking maybe I should go to 0.5 on it....or maybe 1mg every 10 days which I have seen people do. Has anyone any advice?

The mhra have released a document saying supplies are extremely limited and not expected to get better until mid 2024 at the earliest.

Priority is for diabetics and no new patients should be initiated on these drugs. Off lable prescribing is strongly discouraged and discussion with pts regarding stopping meds who have not achieved targets.

There is also a threat of investigation by the cqc for clinics not complying.

Wow! That is very interesting. Sounds like they will have to stop offering the .25 and .5 soon. Perhaps when they finished with the stock they have. The tablets are also mentioned. Really going to have to make this potentially last pen work.

Quick question, does anyone know how many doses are in the 0.5 pen?

MyJuniper gave dispatched me a 0.5 pen and I still have an unopened 1.0 pen (they also charged me twice so it might have been early but certainly wasn't free). So I'm thinking of taking 2 of the 0.5 doses to keep me on 1mg a bit longer. I'm also going away for 3 weeks and wondered if I could squeeze 6 doses from it, so I could just take one pen.

Only 4 0.5 mg doses in the 0.5 mg pen plus a tiny bit more.

It sounds like we will all be joining the weaning off/stopping Ozempic thread.

@Lavendersquare did it say on your order that it was a 0.5 as opposed to the 1mg you would have normally received? Just wondering what might have been dispatched to me today! It's hard to know what to do, whether to use it as a time to wean off and Taper down, or just keep on with the 1 and try and shift another good few lbs... wish there was already a 'weaning off' thread @SerenadeOfTheSchoolRun !

I've tried having two Slimfast shakes and one small meal today to speed up my weight loss and felt fine. Before Ozempic it was torture, hungry all the time!

I also wondered about trying Berberine for maintenance after finishing the last pen - has anyone tried it?

I use Berberine as I've dropped my dose down to 0.25 p/w due to shortages and that I'm within half a stone of my target weight. Feel the same as I did on 0.5 dose with the Berberine, whereas I was hungry and had the food chatter without!
A good addition to my new regime. 😊

I put my repeat prescription refill in with My Juniper this evening and it went through but no email? (It hasn’t shown up in my bank account either but there could be a delay on that.)

I am feeling quite downbeat about it all. I’ve had good results and was not ready to come off it yet. I think all of us coming off it at once is also depressing - I was hoping to hear people’s experiences that were at their goal weight first. Hopefully some of us will get there anyway.

I pre ordered with juniper on sat so it was processed at 9am Mon. Then I got the same email everyone else did at 2pm. When I checked in the day my dashboard looked normal but now there is a res message about the availability.

My 1mg pen did indeed arrive today..under the circumstances I'm not going up to 1mg and im going to use it for 8 doses of 0.5 then come off it.

I'd love to find out more about BERBERINE too. Ozempic seems not to work on me anymore sadly

So, the pen i ordered yesterday morning at 8.55am has just arrived. Its a 1mg! So if anyone has a recurring order for a 1mg like I did, it might be worth try hitting the refill now button? They must have some stock?x

I did my review a couple of weeks ago but my treatment plan has now disappeared and I have an alert to do another review, so unfortunately looks like they’ve updated at least some of us to not be able to order 1 anymore.

Hopefully the photo will show... this is the Berberine that I have been using. It was recommended by my health food store... it's 'Bio Berberine'
I've found it really helpful - I take 2 capsules in the morning with a pint of water before food.

I've just looked this up – it sounds great! The benefits aren't just weight loss either. Are you losing weight on it?

I'm with juniper and my order of 1mg was meant to be dispatched yesterday so if course it's not and I'm being given a 0.5mg. I have a 1mg pen in the fridge but I think I am only going to go up to 0.75mg due to the shortages then a month on the 0.5 then I think I'll have to stop unless I can source it but it's not looking good. Do you think this sounds ok or do you think I should do a month on 0.25mg.

With my 1mg pen I was going to count 54 clicks which I think will give me five does of 0.75mg to eek it out a bit longer. I think I can also get one 0.25mg out of the pen too according the the videos I've been watching.

What are other folk planning to do re the shortages. I know it's a global issue but it's very unsettling isn't it.
