A really unimaginative title but the old thread is almost full and we don't want to lose people who have joined us already.

Anyone else with a large amount to lose is more than welcome to join us, we're a friendly bunch and whatever way you're trying, that doesn't matter to us. It's about the results and more importantly the support.

Quick 👋👋 and catch up - 8 kg down now doing loose fast 800 principles. 45 to go....

It's a bit joyless and I still can't stop yearning for toast, crusty bread, crisps and sweet stuff!! But my digestion feels much better than it has recently and I kind of love/ hate not drinking alcohol - love the lack of fuzzy head and hangover, hate not having a beer at the end of a sunny weekend Saturday.

Keeping going!

Morning all. Back from holiday last week and I've eaten anything and everything since I've been back. Significant gain and I'm sure at least a couple of the pounds are just from the week I've been back at home.

This starts again today. I've updated my current weight in my fitness pal and logging everything again from today.

I'm going to set a new interim target as I found it helped me having a smaller target to work towards last time.

Starting weight: 20.9
Current weight: 19.3
Interim goal weight by 07/07: 17.13
Goal weight: 15

Just seen this thread and I'd like to join in if I may

I'm almost 33, I have DH and 2 DC (4 & 2yrs) I recently found out I have high blood pressure which has kicked me into reality that I need to shift this weight instead of continuing to ignore it.

Deep breaths. Okay so I started last Monday weighing 20st 5.2
Today I am 20st 1.8

It's going ok I think. I'm not tracking yet. Trying to eat less and cook more and healthier. I will be tracking soon but just easing slowly in

I had a half pound gain again this week, tbh I was expecting it to be much worse last week so there's possibly some knock on effect from that.

Fingers crossed for lots of losses for next weigh ins for everyone.

Well done everyone on losses and fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks for everyone.

Weighed in this morning and really pleased with a nice loss now that I've stopped eating anything and everything! Expecting it to even out now that my body is used to calorie counting and intermittent fasting/18:6 again.

Anyone still around? I'm intimidated by the number of threads where people say they're hugely overweight and you open the thread and it turn out they need to lose a stone...

Anyway. I'm holding strong after nearly 7 weeks. 11.5 kg down. 40kg to go. 😬. BMI just under 40 now.

I’m still here @chalkyc2. like you I’ve clicked on a few threads to discover someone is wanting to lose half a stone whilst I have six to lose. We went away for half term and although I’ve not lost anything, I’ve not gained anything either. Really need to get myself in gear and stop putting stuff off and just get on with it .

I'm still around but I've fallen off the wagon massively. I'm trying to get back into it but just can't get my head into the right space for it. It hasn't helped that I've been in the middle of a massive fibro flare so cooking anything has been out the window for me.

I have also fallen off the band wagon, I got down to 12st 3lbs and this week I've been wighing in anywhere between 12st 7-11lbs in the mornings
I'm disappointed in myself as I should be in the 11st something and closer to my end goal if I hadn't been eating shite. So after putting on 4-8lbs I need to get back in the game before it creeps up any higher. I am well aware I can put 2-3 stone on within a few months and need to be careful not to let it slide anymore than I already have. I really don't want to go back to square one.

SW- 17st 3lbs
CW - 12st 9lbs ish
GW - 10dt 6lbs

I feel you on the Fibro flare @ShinyPikachu. Life is non stop stress right now so I'm in a flare too.
I am down 8lbs now though, so I'm pleased with that.
I bought chocolate broken biscuits, which is my weakness! So now they're gone I can get back to normal 😆

I'm now back in the 14s! Only just, but at least things are going in the right direction now. I've basically wasted 6 months - I was aiming to be 14 0 by last Christmas! Oh well, it's summer now so hopefully I'll just eat loads of salad.

I'm back on it and lost 2.8lb this week. Just a shame my gains from when I was struggling have basically put me back to square one with what I've lost over the last year. I have a big family wedding at the start of August and I was hoping to have lost a couple of stone before it so I could buy a smaller dress. I still have time to lose some weight but I'm unlikely to be in a smaller size by then with how things have gone for me.

Hi everyone, I'm afraid I've been 'off-grid' for a while. Have been feeling incredibly low and sad and generally fed up with life. Anyway, yesterday morning I got on the scales and I'm back on it again. Still finding 'life' incredibly hard but I definitely feel a spark of positivity and am trying to be good and positive about my life. Am looking forward to seeing the numbers go down but really hoping my mental health goes up.Smile

I'm back and I've also fallen off the wagon, meaning I'm back over the 19 stone mark.

I don't know why I've been struggling so much the last few weeks but it's definitely a mindset thing.

I've looked at where I am and I've now set a sensible interim target which actually coincides with an event, so am hoping this gives me the focus I need.

I think almost everyone has fallen off the wagon from the comments, so I feel a little less bad about mine. I think it's just so easy to go back to bad habits when you're not in the right head space. So I've booked an all inclusive holiday for mid September, I've got around 13 weeks to try lose what I can following the recent weight gain. I would like to get out of the 12st into 11st something. Realistically I know I struggle to lose a full lb a week now. So interim goal is 11st 13lbs in 13 weeks so 9.5lbs. I know I'll put weight on over the holiday, so I want to lose as much as I can before then

SW - 17st 3lbs
CW- 12st 8.5lbs
GW - 10st 6lbs

Mini goal- 11st 13lbs

Have just started a new job and hoping I am going to leave the scheme everyday and have a 30 min walk! Plus get away from the biscuit draw at previous job.

I am not following any plan. Was meant to weight today but forgot.

I’m still here, although I’m at a bit of a standstill. I’ve been doing a lot of swimming but I need to make more effort to document everything I put in my mouth. An ice lolly has just slipped past my lips whilst I wasn’t paying attention!

Hello, I'm at the stage of realizing that I really need to do something about my weight. Realistically I want to lose about 6 stones so I hope you'll let me join you all? I need to buy batteries for my digital scales but on the old manual ones I am 16st 9lbs which was about 10lbs less than I expected from the fit of my clothes.
My first target is to get below 100kg/220lbs so if my old scales are accurate that is exactly 1stone to be at 219lbs.
I'm a world class procrastinator so I'm not quite ready to start a diet yet but hopefully will do so in the next couple of days - I know I am being ridiculous putting it off (again) but this talking myself into it is a stage I have to go through.

Welcome, you are in good company here, no judgement, post as much or as little as you like.

Get the batteries and then you can get going a little at a time.

I've had a gain this week but I've been ill and it's been so hot I was craving Coke from the fridge so I know I had more of that than I should have done. I just don't really like water unless I'm out and about though and because I can't have artificial sweeteners I don't have much choice if I want something refreshing and cold.

I'm tracking everything again now, trying to get back to intermittent fasting but with calorie counting at the same time just to keep an eye on my intake, especially sugar if I have soft drinks. Tracking it might stop me drinking so much.

Currently 17st on the dot. Managed to lose half a stone this week though
