I am so rubbish at keeping up with threads.
Great going happier, life and Mrs. 3lb in one week is stunning.

I have been recovering from a hideous cold so gym has had to take a back seat. I have had to be more mindful about what I eat so I didn't regress. I think eating less is becoming a habit.... I met with work colleagues today and there was lots of cake. It didn't occur to me to have a slice because I wasn't hungry.

My wins are I fitted into my favourite pre Covid work frock.... Which was on the way to being tight before we got set home. I am still on track for jeans for Christmas (80kg or less)and guilt free Easter egg (75kg or less).

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2022 07:13

Wow no cake unescorted, brilliant

I’m heavier than when I started this week but must be patient, feel less bloated

Bookaholic73 · 30/11/2022 08:01

Today I’m stepping on the scale to face the music. I’ve avoided the scale this past week because I totally fell off the wagon.

I’m off to the gym this morning for PT. I love having PT and think that I’m going to commit to having 3 PT sessions a week in January, no matter what.

I need to plan out what I’m eating for the next few days, I feel like this always keeps me on track because I don’t have to constantly think about what to make.

Breakfast: Poached Eggs on toast with protein drink.

Lunch: Salmon/Tuna sushi bowl

Dinner: Soup

I try and make sure that all of my meals contain protein, carbs and a little fat.
I really fancy a light dinner this evening, as tomorrow I’ll be eating quite a bit.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2022 08:13

Sounds like a good plan
I’m going to do a pt session when my arm is better

Happierwithouthim · 30/11/2022 08:42

Sounds like we've all got good structures in place at the moment.

I used my last HelloFresh meal last night, pasta, so scales was up this morning but I know pasta does this to me so I'm not concerned about it. And I ate the courgettes that were in it, which is a win as I don't really like them

Get well soon unescorted

That's excellent progress Unescorted well done !!👏
Happier not keen on Courgettes either very slimy 🤮
Life how is your arm? Is it any better? I do hope so 💐
Very nice menu Book 🤗
We are having a curry tonight just a box from Tesco but nice enough and not too calorific 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2022 16:46

Poor food day today as a&e food. Ds nose v hockey stick but he’s ok
home late as busy do freezer teas and chocolate cake
8k steps and hopefully Zumba tonight but I’m shattered

Unescorted · 30/11/2022 22:26

How can you not like courgette people.... It is amazing. I love it on the BBQ or grilled. Grilled pepper tomato and courgette with houmous on a crusty baguette is my favourite sandwich filling. Or ribbons charred & drizzled with lemon, parsley and parmesan..... I am now hungry.

life that sounds ouchy. The poor lad.

Mrs those curry boxes are our go to CBA cooking dinners.

The PT at my gym are lovely... even if you aren't one of their clients they are encouraging, help out with form, suggest new things and help with routine building and diet.

I am feeling much improved so went to the gym today. 25 min row, 15 min on the cross trainer (they are tortuous) and weights. I feel I could have pushed it harder but didn't because it was very busy & I was running out of time.

I got new glasses today (contacts to follow) I can see what other people are doing for the first time....

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/12/2022 07:18

I’m not keen on big corgette but I can tolerate little ones

no Zumba but did some stables running about instead. Spinning tonight

mrs my elbow is slowly getting better now I’ve stopped mucking out but still not right and I can’t not muck out forever

Unescorted · 04/12/2022 10:07

Good morning my lovely losers.

It has been a bit of a difficult to fit everything in type of week. I was so tempted to sack off the gym because of opticians, dmum care, DD coming home, foodbank, car issues. .... I think being poorly broke the there are no excuses mindset. However I have kept going even when I was rushing around like a blue arsed fly. I had to dig deep to get through the CBA barriers.

I have tried adding in some fasting days....in reality skipping breakfast and having a late lunch and a smaller dinner. I am not sure if that is "proper" fasting but I don't care because it is achievable and it is creating a calorie deficit. I have now lost just over 10kg.

Only 1kg to go before I can put operation Christmas jeans into action. Pay day is on 15th so that can be target date.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/12/2022 13:23

Lost the plot again yesterday and too much chocolate, was on dog walking duties so 6k steps before 9

have a headache today so will be kind today and start tomorrow

Happierwithouthim · 07/12/2022 20:55

Fancied chocolate so ate a mars bar which was only chocolate in house other than box of heroes & I figured that box was better left closed! I don't love mars!

Skinned my heel on new runners Sunday but have walked mon & wed eve well bandaged up.

Hope headache cleared life

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/12/2022 07:05

I’m not doing well at all,
reset today

Happierwithouthim · 08/12/2022 08:21

Mrs I'm off today so left plaster off last night & will all day today and tonight and if it's not healed I'm going to wear my slippers at work on Friday because putting plaster & shoes on is just prolonging it.
Luckily I'm in my own office & people don't see my feet Smile

Life these things happen

Life yes they kill!
Hoping Not is ok 😊waves to everyone 👋😊

Unescorted · 10/12/2022 18:39

book it took me a long while to get into the headspace to be selfish enough to put me first & get to the gym & put my diet before everyone else's beige preferences. I had to give myself permission to take the time it takes.

I hate running blisters.

I was poorly this week so I didn't get to the gym... But I have earned my Christmas jeans.
