Life is it 133 you're comfortable at?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2022 11:01

They owe you nothing happier

130 is my best, anything lower is too hard to maintain

just had porridge for breakfast as cold from sitting and dog walking

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2022 17:20

Had circa 1500 calories today, couldn’t track my walk as watch charging. About 9 k I would say

feeling so fat

Bookaholic73 · 24/11/2022 17:22

Hi, can I please join you?

I’ve lost 2st in the past year, and have 1 more stone to go. But good god, this last stone is a nightmare to lose!

Unescorted · 24/11/2022 18:56

book everyone is welcome on the frugaleer threads.

2st is impressive.

Life - 138 is not fat and you may be due a woosh.

Happier when you get new ones you will feel really tall. They have been well used.

I definitely have a cold. I have given exercise a swerve tonight (it is a gym day....) I am hoping that I will make a recovery for tomorrow.

Bookaholic73 · 24/11/2022 18:57

@Unescorted thank you. I feel like the first 2st was relatively simple. Just went to the gym and did some running.

But now I’m doing that and the weight has really slowed down. It’s so hard now.

Unescorted · 24/11/2022 19:46

It is always more difficult when you lose weight. If you weigh less then you use less calories just doing day to day things. Look at it as a measure of your achievement to date. You did the hardest bit by starting.

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 24/11/2022 21:50

Evening everyone 😊
Happier you have had your money's worth out the them there trainers 😂
Book welcome you have done so well 👏👏
Unescorted hope you feel better soon 💐
Life that is a great weight in my eyes but it's what you are happy with l know 💐
We had a McDonald's tonight because l had a 40% off voucher. Still only ate a couple if the cheese sticks and a hot chocolate because l don't really like them tbh 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2022 22:01

I might get a wish if I put some effort in, I’i had supper at scouts as it was cooking night so maintain days

welcome book. Do you do weights to ass that helps with weight loss?

Happierwithouthim · 25/11/2022 06:44

Book welcome, yes it gets harder towards the end. Flush it out plenty of water & high fibre foods.
What type of books do you read?

Life you're so not fat Hmm

Unescorted get well soon

Mrs I detest McDonald's Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/11/2022 08:52

Gws unescorted
i hate McDonald’s too

I know there are worse cases than mine but for me it’s too much

Unescorted · 25/11/2022 09:04

Thanks for the wishes.... I am struggling to get out of bed this morning. An unexpected fasting day it seems.

I wish I could say the same about McD. Fries dipped in a sundae (pref chocolate fudge) is my all time favourite guilty pleasure.

Happierwithouthim · 25/11/2022 15:40

Unescorted you're definitely unwell with that combination Grin

Bookaholic73 · 25/11/2022 17:43

Good evening. I wish I hated McDonald’s, unfortunately I love a veggie wrap or cheeseburger 🤤

Thank you for all the support, it’s appreciated.

@lifelongfrugaleer i do 3 weights sessions a week, and run whenever I get a chance. I never thought I’d be the kind of person who enjoys weightlifting, but it is so much fun and really motivating when you see muscle you’ve never seen before.

@Happierwithouthim I read pretty much anything and everything to be honest. With the exception of most classic book.
I love The Mayor of Casterbridge and also Little women, but that’s it for the classics.
My granny died last year and left me all of her books, so I’m working my way through them. She was a huge fan of thriller and crime, so that’s my staple at the moment.

What is everyone up to this evening? I’m having a few glasses of wine, and making Jamie Oliver’s Fish Pie for dinner. I like it because it doesn’t have a white sauce, so less calories.

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 25/11/2022 20:52

OMG Book l am so sorry you lost your Granny but your Granny had great taste , l am just like her l have so many and not enough time to read them flowers]
I dislike MCD's as well Happier & Life , my family love it though yuk!
Unescorted just so wrong Grin
Been ok again today. l am so busy getting everything done for my Mum visiting looking after Bob and trying to sort her Christmas , cards, presents, wreaths , etc etc. Hmm

Unescorted · 26/11/2022 07:42

mrs & happier don't knock it until you have tried it.

book I have just started with weights. You are right seeing a little muscle forming is so satisfying. And the dips around my collar bones and elbows. Who knew knees & ankles had shapes eh?

Hold the front pages.... I am in the 82s. That is my pre Covid weight. Only 2-3kg to go before Christmas to keep on my target of a guilt free Easter egg.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/11/2022 08:08

Well done unescorted
I like weights but am off at the minute with this stupid elbow so resting to Jan

no change today but dd and I had snacks last night for the footy. I just need lots of water today

Happierwithouthim · 29/11/2022 06:24

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/11/2022 07:27

Brilliant happier

I did a restart yesterday and did 28k steps. About 1800 calories so all good
1lb bloat gone

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 29/11/2022 15:06

Bloody hell Happier & life that's amazing well done both !
Am busy so good re the food🤗 clothes feel a little looser 🤞

Happierwithouthim · 29/11/2022 16:53

Wow 28k steps! I came home yesterday to my 2 hours of child free time and it wasn't raining or windy and I wasn't tired and I decided I wouldn't go walking, just let the dog run loose instead. Last Monday I walked in the wind and some rain with my friend HmmShock I folded laundry, put on the fire and watched some Emmerdale instead and got an early night, if I'd gone walking, these things would have been done later and the early night wouldn't have happened.

Bloat reducing is great news.

I tightened my belt in a notch today, very happy with that.

mrs that's great news about your clothes feeling looser.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 29/11/2022 18:02

made cakes for the dc getting good reports so will go a choc cake over but only on 1380 so far,

great about the good belt tightening happier, I would also have done the jobs and had an early night.
