Going to log my experience here as a journal and also to help others if interested.

having gone hungry to lose 5lbs earlier this year and then stalled because I’m always hungry, I put 4lbs back on. Being v pear shaped I never have a belly, but now it sticks out and digs in and clothes are uncomfortable. Doing more exercise makes no difference. It is clear that will power simply doesn’t work for me.

I took my first dose (0.25mg) last night. Woke up around 2.30 with pain at the injection site which passed. Was v thirsty so gulped water which just seemed to sit there. A couple of small burps. Got back to sleep. Weirdly vivid dreams. This morning, not particularly hungry first thing.

I have lost 2lb this week which is the most I have lost in a week for ages. Finally broke the 83kg barrier for the first time since April. My total loss is now close to 6lb. Hopefully things will continue at a better rate now that Christmas is behind us and I am on the 1mg dose.

I intend to work on the healthier eating side of things too……

Obviously I mean 0.5 not 5mg!

Juniper people can i just ask my last 0.25 is today but so far i haven't received the next delivery or even had the money taken from my account. When do you typically get the delivery and do they notify you that it's on its way?
i could just email them if course!!!

If any new starters are worried about still overeating, may I recommend a cheese toastie. It'll be repeating on you for 24 hours hence avoiding all temptation to add to your distress by eating anything else

@orangelotus I dose on a Wednesday and they usually dispatch on the Monday and it’s delivered on the Tuesday. They are very responsive if you email them

Weighed in today at 100g less than I did on 17 Dec. Given the Christmas excesses I will take that.

Amazing how it affects us all so differently, cheese toasties are fine by me. Eating a main meal beyond 4pm is a struggle though.

Today is day 1 of 4th dose of .5mg and quite nauseous, and I wasn't with the the 3rd dose. Ate at 10am, 1pm and again now at 3pm to try keep it at bay.

I have not had any impact at all on 0.25. None. Is there still hope for me?

l d mummy- so you mean side effects or benefits or both?
i was unaffected by any side effects just had final 0.25mgs today.
But i have shifted bereeen 6-8 lbs depending on the mood of the weighing scales.
There is definitely a degree of appetite suppressant but I have read that until you have been on at least 8 weeks you may not notice anything.
Stick with it perhaps your tolerance is very good for the drug and it won't affect you until at a higher dose

I’ve booked a call with Numan’s medical advisor as I was violently ill on Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning and it was freaking my family out! On the plus side the weight is falling off but I’m pretty sure this isn’t a healthy way of losing it. I’m hoping they may be able to suggest something to control the nausea though today has been better so far.

I am desperate to lose 2-3 stone. I have tried everything and struggle to lose even half a stone. I'm 42 years old and the weight simply doesn't budge.

I've ordered my first pen via Manual and it should turn up by the weekend.

I’m not sure which would be the best ones to take. I have tried phenergan because I had some in the house but it had no impact. I’m hoping the advisor will recommend something more suitable.

@Katrinawaves yoj can get an anti emetic called buccastem over the counter. You have to say it’s for migraine related nausea but it works for everything. Having said that, it’s clearly not sustainable for long term use so you need some proper advice

i have gained weight!! 2lbs. I feel very upset as I feel like i've really cut down on everything.
Also i have quite a lot of medication still in the pen after the 4 0.25 doses. I am thinking of using it at the weekend to slightly increase before I start on the 0.5 next week. Has anyone else done this?

You have two 0.5mg doses left in your 0.25mg pen. I used them that way before starting the next pen.

I shared my experience earlier on this thread on Ozempic which has been very positive to date. However, in last couple of months, I’ve been stalled and no longer getting curbed appetite on the 0.5mg dose. I’m thinking of moving up to perhaps 0.75mg but I can’t seem to find any more stock. Was previously buying from HealthExpress but they’re out of stock.

Can anyone help with where to buy from now? I’ve seen juniper mentioned along with reference to a discount code - would greatly appreciate if someone could PM me the code. Thanks in anticipation.

I thought the same so only used one .5mg from the first pen, it's half way down the window of the needle now, I moved on to my .5mg pen and will see what's left at the end of that pen to maybe stretch another week out of the two pens.

@Intemperatefatty that's very disappointing for you, I even lost Christmas week but with the appetite suppressant I wasn't even able to eat normal quantites of food for any time of the year never mind a bit extra for Christmas.

I took my first dose on Monday. Messed it up a bit and lost some but I have noticed reduced appetite! However haven't had a poo since I took it 😭 does that sort itself out?!
