Hello and Welcome

Following on from the LOSE IT! August Thread heres the September Thread!

The start of autumn is the perfect time to overall your way of eating in readiness for the change in seasons. Summer was gone in a flash and now the days are getting fresher; I for one like the cooler climate 🥶 < OK not that cold 😬

Fresh new month, fresh new start, fresh new habits. Jump right into September! Reset & refresh to become a healthier version of yourself! Being mindful, planning ahead and few tweaks here and there it’s not impossible!

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating to LOSE or MAINTAIN. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have a WOW (Weigh On Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable). It’s a journey, not a destination.

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and generally eat twice a day. I try not to drink calories and have very little processed food or sugar. I meal plan, set my intentions daily and exercise most days.

Are you in?😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why? You can do it, if you really want too!

Good Morning

@CassandraBarrett @SlashBeef Sorry to read about everyone’s despondency about not losing. Weight loss isn’t linear as frustrating as that is. Just Keep Going & Carry On. Good advice from @milkfromthesleepycow to @SlashBeef ❤️

Well done on your losses @WalkthisWayUK @ImALittlePea

Hope you feel better soonn@RadFad Realising your resolve is dissolving is positive as you can try to minimise any gains. Also remind yourself why you want to lose/feel healthier. What about planning in some tasty treats so you have something to look forward too and don’t feel deprived. I eat full fat tasty food all the time, nothing is banned (apart from gluten) just less of it 😬

@fallfallfall How disappointing for you.

Wow! a whole 0.2lb in 3 days 😅but it was the weekend so I suppose I should be glad I have not gone upwards.
So I will keep going - onwards and inwards ( at a smails pace...)

Oh I missed a whole lot of posts - we are all finding it slow going at the moment.
Is anyone else moving at a smails pace - oh for an edit function - at least it made me smile

Back in the gym today, feel like I'm getting through the depression stage again.
Maintained again this week but I'm taking it as a win.
