Here's the new thread for tomorrow. I haven't weighed today, but will yesterday's weight starting out at 9st1.75. Aiming to get under 9st again by the end of Feb.

Morning. No weigh in for me after my two days of lunches out. Hoping not too much damage but am giving it a day before I find out.

Well done to all the losers. Did chuckle at your typo Judy Smile

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/02/2022 09:35

Hope your lunches were fab IswallowedaFly! I forgot to post my intentions, which help. So intention to drink 2.5L water, start day with lemon water (really enjoying this and it seems to keep me warm for hours), no phone overnight, a week in now, skin and teeth, no junk.

Likely water/fluid retention from doing the weights Allaboutthebooks

Managed my best step day ever yesterday, 35,000! Although it's not going so well today with this storm. We went for a walk on our break at work this morning and at some points were literally getting blown backwards Grin

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/02/2022 16:05

35k steps Shock Amazing!

Great you're back exercising Allaboutthebooks!

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/02/2022 20:27

Logging for the day and simultaneously feeling veru frustrating with dc running around laughing when they should be going to bed and giving myself a massive clap on the back for not reaching for sugar and feeling the feelings instead aaagghhh!!! Another day under the belt feels good.
Porridge with grated apple and cinnamon
Cappuccino
Mexican bean soup with small avocado and grated cheese
Homemade margherita pizza (lest you think I have made some delicious drinks!)
Lemon water check, water reasonable, will top up, teeth and skin done. Yahoo, taking a bow and falling backwards onto couch Grin Basically zero steps today as we were stormed in!

CharlieBubbles88 · 18/02/2022 21:33

It's also been terrible here (near Gatwick) My other half was having to get his chainsaw out to clear branches and debris from the road just to get home after work! Mums on the coast and had a fence panel shatter her new patio door 🥺
Managed 20k steps. We have a little walking bus at work so there is usually one other person willing to brave the weather, rain, wind or snow! Today certainly blew the cobwebs away.
Sleep eating still off the chart but lots of uncertainty at work so underlying stress might be contributing. Doesn't help my other half leaves sweets out or hides them and sleep Charlie sniffs them out
Well done everyone for staying accountable and even just checking in. Hopefully it's a bit nicer weather wise tomorrow

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/02/2022 23:04

Wow, you're doing brilliantly Charlie. Well done. Hope you sleep well.

Octopus37 · 19/02/2022 09:30

Hope everyone was ok after the storm yesterday. Not too bad here, although a tree came down in our local park and our glass table in the garden smashed to smithereens. It calmed down so I managed to get out for a pub meal with my bestie which was much needed. Needless to say I'm not weighing in today. Luckily the storm has passed here. Sounds as if everyone is doing really well.

Sounds lovely octopus. These things are so important. Same as yesterday here today, that's fine. If I could get to 9 by end Feb that would be super. But if I could get to end of Feb in present state, off the crap and sleeping better that would be even better! Lovely day here today, off for a short walk shortly.

LBB2020 · 19/02/2022 20:28

No weigh in for me, finally came on my period (sorry TMI) and feel so bloated and uncomfortable.
Hope everyone is ok after the storm! Not too bad here luckily!

Octopus37 · 20/02/2022 09:00

Dared to weigh this morning, 9st2.25. Bad weather again yesterday so I only managed a short walk. Had take away last night, one saving grace is that I did ok with my water.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 20/02/2022 12:02

10/8 today after sticking at 10/7 all week. Hopefully just water - I made risotto last night which tends to be quite salty with stock, AND had salted cashew nuts later.

I stopped smoking this week - I know MN absolutely hates smokers so haven’t mentioned it before! - so need to be careful with snacking. I started smoking at uni and am now 48 so it is definitely time, but a long toxic relationship to LTB!

swallowedAfly · 20/02/2022 14:49

11:11.8 here.

I've just put cottage pie in the oven and am likely to eat massive portion. Cold and windy here and I've spent all day planning lessons and resources etc so far so very little activity. Back to work tomorrow so will be moving more.

Nearly 4lbs down so far in February but sadly that's the 4lb I regained in the second half of January so not real progress itms and holiday is beginning to feel close. I need march to be successful.

LBB2020 · 20/02/2022 17:57

Well done on stopping smoking @Judystilldreamsofhorses!
The weather has been really awful here all weekend so not nearly enough steps for me. We also went out for a pub dinner today which was lovely but not in keeping with the healthy eating!
Tomorrow is a new day and a new week though

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 20/02/2022 20:12

Biscuits and cake over weekend Sad Not going to dwell. Sport for about 3h today. Onwards and upwards for the week ahead

Octopus37 · 21/02/2022 07:33

Wow that's a lot of sport. 9st1.75 this morning water and steps reasonable yesterday.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 21/02/2022 07:43

Two matches! Tired today. Well done octopus. Will weigh Weds.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 21/02/2022 08:55

Adding commitments as I need to stay disciplined now after going off track. Hot lemon water in the morning, 2.5L water, no phone overnight, no junk. Starting again really sucks. Have a nice salad with lentils and feta for lunch so am organised at least.

QueenMabby · 21/02/2022 11:23

God I'm soo tired! Well done to those being sporty and keeping steps up. It's half term here and I find it really hard to keep to routine when the children are off (I don't work). DH is off too this week which makes it harder.
I've downloaded the Fastic app to give IF a bit of a go - mainly to try and encourage me not to graze in the evenings. Will see how it goes. Next weigh in is on Wednesday.

QueenMabby · 21/02/2022 11:24

@HeyGirlHeyBoy - just saw your post. I'm planning on lentils and feta for lunch too - served over wilted rainbow chard and some butternut squash for me though - I can't eat salad when it's cold!

Octopus37 · 21/02/2022 12:28

@Judystilldreamsofhorses meant to say, massive congratulations on giving up smoking.

OP posts:
QueenMabby · 21/02/2022 13:07

Yes @Judystilldreamsofhorses - well done you can do it!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 21/02/2022 15:53

Thank you for all the support - day eight now, and I have developed an unfortunate afternoon biscuit habit which is not good at all. I was 10/9 this morning but I logically can't believe I gained two actual pounds over the weekend. I need to drink more water and eat less biscuits.

QueenMabby · 21/02/2022 16:11

@Judystilldreamsofhorses biscuits are fine - as long as you're intentional with them. Two biscuits and a cup of tea daily mid afternoon won't have much of an impact and if it helps then it's worth it. It's if you're mindlessly hoovering half a dozen while doing other things that it'll become a problem.

I've just had a decaf and a chocolate brownie (made by dd at the weekend and absolutely delish!). It was a conscious choice to eat it and I'll only have one and won't beat myself up over it as the enjoyment factor is worth it for me.
