Oh I know those sod it days too well!! Thank you, I appreciate it as again post dinner, I feel like something sweet. Will battle on.

NutellaEllaElla · 15/02/2022 20:22

Hello, i've avoided this thread and the scales but i'm back on it after an all inclusive holiday trip far from the wagon.

I'm doing really well food wise. I recently discovered this jelly snack which is actually only 7 calories a pot! I tried the rhubarb and custard one today and really liked it. I also bought the raspberry doughnut and a strawberry flavoured one which i think i might have with light squirty cream. Ridiculously low cal.

Fabulous February
swallowedAfly · 15/02/2022 20:28

Was it you who said about meringue nests being 49 calories Nutella? I had huge sweet cravings last night and remembered I had some in the cupboard. I scoffed a whole box of 8 but still a binge like that on anything else sweet would have been a lot worse.

7 cals is fab if they're hitting the spot for you. 7 cals!!

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 15/02/2022 20:40

Good to see you Nutella! That definitely wasn't nad IswallowedaFly and I'm sure 8 was plenty! I am logging another good day and doing a bit of food prep here - roast veg with lentils and feta for tomorrow and a Mexican bean soup for another day. Delighted. Sleep well all.

NutellaEllaElla · 15/02/2022 20:41

Yes, my DH swears by meringue nests, strawberries and light whipped cream, thank you for reminding me. Now to add the Jelly to the mix!! God tier diet sweet treats.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 16/02/2022 07:08

Morning. Awake for well over an hour during the night, followed by a stress dream, not good rest. Weight 9st3 so I might make a 2lb drop for the week, by Fri. Commitment: hotlemon water, no phone over night, no junk and I have one hour exercise this evening also. Have a good day all. Hope you're feeling more rested than me.

Octopus37 · 16/02/2022 08:04

Those dreams are horrible @HeyGirlHeyBoy, I have them quite often and I always feel exhausted afterwards. @NutellaEllaElla your low cal treats sound amazing, may have to try some of that jelly.

Did ok with steps and water yesterday, also didn't eat particularly healthily but less food overall. 9st2.25 this morning. It also dawned on me that I hadn't taken any of my Menopace vitamins since Christmas when they ran out, dont think it had helped anything. Bought some yesterday.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 16/02/2022 08:18

I woke exhausted after it. That's a great drop octopus. I find vitamins do help.

swallowedAfly · 16/02/2022 08:34

Morning. Well done both of you.

I'm 11:12 today. This is what tends to happen after a stretch of sticky weight for me, it finally seems to start shifting relatively easily (touch wood). Other than the meringue fest the other night I've been fairly low cal and I have been drinking lots of water but I haven't been active to put it mildly.

Lunch out with parents today and tomorrow with friend. Really don't want to blow it.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 16/02/2022 08:58

Enjoy it IswallowedaFly, up the protein and veg first and then just enjoy. You probably won't eat much outside of that.

QueenMabby · 16/02/2022 10:14

I'm baaaaaaack!

Hello everyone

Have kicked covid to the curb, am out of bed and in real clothes again.

Was astonished this morning to discover that 6 days of lying in bed eating Maltesers and Jaffa cakes (thank you bff!) and meals hand delivered by dh has resulted in a weight gain of exactly..... ZERO! Am exactly the same as last weigh in. Unbelievable. I know what I'm going to do to maintain once I reach goal weight... 🤣🤣

Covid has given me the mother of all periods though (sorry if tmi) so I'm feeling sluggish and bloated and horrible. Also still feeling wobbly and (like a dalek) stairs are still a challenge but I am aiming to go for a walk today - even if it's just to the local coffee shop!

Hope you are all doing well.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 16/02/2022 11:47

No weigh for me yesterday, but as ever 10/7 today. Food wise I have been okay but steps under 10,000. Hopefully I will make up for it later in the week though.

LBB2020 · 16/02/2022 17:07

Glad you’re feeling better @QueenMabby!
We have those 10 calorie jelly pots a few times a week as dessert!
Hardly any steps today as WFH and been tied up on Teams all day but hopefully make up for it tomorrow. Not done too bad with food so far today so fingers crossed I don’t ruin it once the children are in bed!

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 16/02/2022 17:24

Storm coming here so just the type of evening that I would jump into the junk. Lots of deep breathing and side stepping going but I feel strong at same time. Amazing how my body /brain know the times the call for sugar! It's a whole body sensation, almost a taste in my mouth! Blush I'm 1.5L of water but feel dehydrated so will drink some more now. Great you're well QueenMabby!

Octopus37 · 16/02/2022 18:38

@QueenMabby glad you are back and that you have recovered from Covid. Go easy on yourself, it does take time to get your energy back. Not too bad a day here, not healthy but not massively excessive. Only 4,165 steps so far though so just out for another dog walk

OP posts:
HeyGirlHeyBoy · 16/02/2022 22:54

Logging in for the night.
Berries and yoghurt, cappuccino
Roast veg, lentils and feta
Beef stew with mash and broccoli
Night night.

Octopus37 · 17/02/2022 07:19

Not enough steps yesterday despite two dog walks, the awful weather didn't help. 9st2.5 this morning. Sounds as if everyone is doing well.

OP posts:
HeyGirlHeyBoy · 17/02/2022 08:17

2lbs gone now since last Fri, 9st 2.75 this morning. Very pleased and seemingly no effort bar good food and a plan for the day. Two hours exercise later so need to drink lots of water over the day. Have a good day all.

QueenMabby · 17/02/2022 10:04

Am shattered! Nearly 15000 steps yesterday on my first full day out and about. Might have overdone it a bit but it was so lovely to be outside.

Good choices were ok yesterday - just a pottering around the house day today so will try not to snack.

QueenMabby · 17/02/2022 10:04

Food choices. Not good. Although they weren't bad...

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 17/02/2022 17:33

Logging optimistically early Grin
Apple, pear, Greek yoghurt and cappuccino
Delicious Mexican bean soup
Mandarin
Breaded fish fillet with peas and homemade chips.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 18/02/2022 08:41

Still bobbing along at 20/7. Have lovely weekends!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 18/02/2022 08:42

OMG, 10/7. Gaining ten stone in a week would have been a big deal.

Octopus37 · 18/02/2022 08:45

Take it easy @QueenMabby. Hope that everyone manages to stay safe in the storm today. 9st0.5 today, think thats a fluke. Steps and water ok yesterday. Trying to focus on that cause I cannot get my head eating healthily at the moment.

OP posts:
HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/02/2022 08:50

Wow that's a drop octopus. Very nice! I'm down 2.5lbs over the week getting back on track. Delighted. 9st2.25 this morning. One day at a time is working. Hope can keep it up. Feel the benefits already.
