Hi,

Here's the new thread for tomorrow. I haven't weighed today, but will yesterday's weight starting out at 9st1.75. Aiming to get under 9st again by the end of Feb.

It starts at 6.30. It's her 13th so an evening party but at the house as I'm a fool! DD is beside herself with excitement - I hope it lives up to the hype!

@QueenMabby we live parallel lives, my youngest DS (he turns 12 on Tuesday) had a sleepover for his Birthday last night. We went for a meal and four of his friends came back. They didn't got to sleep till 6.15. Hope your daughter's party went well.

@LBB2020 hope your Son feels better soon.

Didn't weigh in this morning after pizza. Just eaten a much needed chocolate croissant and I'm drinking a huge mug of tea x

Crazy upswing on scales - trying to ignore it because it IS crazy. Still no period on day 33 of cycle so who knows what's going on. Have been drinking lots of water and did very well on food Friday and yesterday so it makes no sense and will just hope it is a random anomaly.

Hope the party went well QueenM - I shudder at the thought of a houseful of teenagers!

I have had a jump too IswallowedaFly which I will also ignore as I've just started my period, food has been plentiful but largely good stuff so won't fret and will weigh again midweek as planned. Keep up the water!

10/7 today and have done better on steps this week so should average out at 10k per day. I’m back on campus two days a week from Monday which will make a big difference too.

Hormonal fluctuations are rubbish. I used to weigh once a week but got into daily weighing during the first lockdown. Maybe weekly is healthier really.

Morning all. Ignoring the scales after a rather indulgent weekend - well someone had to finish off the chocolate fountain! DD had a fab party but omg 12/13 year old girls are loud!

Feeling a bit ropey this morning. Did LFT last night - negative - but my bff tested positive over the weekend and I saw her on Friday night....Am really hoping both dc test negative this morning. They're due their second covid jabs today and dd has a much anticipated school trip on Wednesday! 🤞🏻

Hope everyone had good weekends - here's to a week of good hydration and healthy habits!!

No weight in for me today, feeling ridiculously bloated, think period might be starting so really temped to avoid the scales for a couple of days, although that could be a slippery slope.

Weighed in Saturday at 123.8lbs/56.2kg

Really need to be good this week as went out for drinks Saturday night and then a boozy lunch yesterday and out this Saturday too

Food and exercise hasn't been too bad. Water intake is good in the week but not so much at the weekend

Another scales dodger here. Ate a tub of ice cream yesterday. Slept a lot over weekend after sleeping poorly all week.

To think I was pinning hopes on February...

Similar on the food front Octopus, and I did 12k steps or so. However my period pains are through the roof, combined with a delightful mix of constipand diahorrea. Sorry tmi, but I know I can be real o this thread. Basically contractions through the night. Hope that's te worst of it. Water. water water. Have a good day all.

I'm hungry all the time. Period has finally arrived. Dread to think what the scales would say if I dared get on them.

If anyone can put a positive spin on this go for your life lol.

I'm with you on the stomach issues HeyGirl - got up several times in the night to do a small amount of urgent diahorrea but still feel constipated. Joy.

I've eaten 2 packets of crisps and 2 chocolate eclairs. That's just sheer bingey self destruct.

Saying it on here in the hopes that helps me not spiral further.

@swallowedAfly - it's happened. Don't beat yourself up about it. Draw a line underneath it and move on.
I'm fighting a similar urge. Have a cold and feel rotten. Important meeting tomorrow which I'm now dreading as I am not going to be at the top of my game. Can only put best foot forwards though as ever.

Don’t well on it @swallowedAfly just draw a line under it and keep going!
I’ve logged my food on MyFitnessPal today to try and keep myself on the straight and narrow. If I stay away from the kitchen once the children are in bed it will have been a good day for calories but they do include a pack of crisps and a chocolate bar Blush definitely not had enough water today either!

I didn’t weigh today as had a really early meeting. @swallowedAfly there must be something in the air, after not eating chocolate since summer (it is really, really bad for my reflux) I ate a huge bag of Reece’s Pieces yesterday. I remembered MIL had put them in my Christmas stocking - they only survived because DP doesn’t like peanut butter! Anyway, next.

9st 11.2lb today. I was 9st 11.6lb last Tuesday but then 9st 10.6 last Wednesday so . Period is overdue and I have a cold so food choices not been great the last few days.

Will keep trying.

@swallowedAfly and @HeyGirlHeyBoy sorry you're both feeling rough with your periods, the upset tummy side of it can be horrible. On a period here as well, started on Sunday but is been almost nothing, could do with finding out if this is normal when you're on HRT.

No weight in for me today, had Fireaway for DS's actual Birthday, had a healthier option (if there is one though), it had some veg on and the crusts are much thinner than Dominos, she sayd. Actually had a reasonable nights sleep last night after 3 nights awful sleep, so actually feeling human today. One day at a time.
