Hi, here's the new thread for November.

Starting out at 8st9.75 this month. Obviously not a normal month. Personal aim is to eat more healthily and get my energy back.

With mine you had to download an app and they blue tooth the results across to the app (proper fancy) The numbers are then all colour coded which is quite nice!!

Oh crikey, my scales are just analogue ones. I have used the same ones for years and "know" them so I am reluctant to get a new set (might get a nasty shock!). I probably should go back to a weekly weigh really.

@LadyDanburysHat can I ask about fasting please? Is it the 5:2 you're doing, and do you fast two days running or split them?

Logging for the day, early dinner so I'll be starving but fine. Will weigh midweek in morning for a bit of inspiration or reality check!
Strawberries, kiwi and Greek yoghurt and cappuccino
4 falafels, feta, beetroot and salad
Chilli, no rice, creme fraiche and cheese
Not enough water!!

Delighted I have not caved at all this evening. Scales definitely an incentive of sorts. Hope I haven't gone up at least in morning.

Thanks @LBB2020, doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Went out for a meal with a friend last night, 8st12.25 this morning. Referral for DS going to be a bit of a pain, got to wait for letter from A&E, but we'll see

9st 4.25 this morning so 1.25 down since Fri and must keep to that for this Fri. Pleased with that. Have a good day all and.... Water!

@sparklyglitterball it is 5:2 yes. All of the info I read said to split the days. So I do Monday and Thursday, which seem to be the most common ones that people choose. Some fast days I find harder than others, but I just keep telling myself, I can eat normally tomorrow.

I'm down to 11st 8.7 this morning. Inching closer to that 11st 7 goal. Feeling really positive, just need to not eat too much crap on my non fast days.

Well done @LadyDanburysHat. Sounds mega @HeyGirlHeyBoy. I'm mega impressed with the amount of fruit and veg you manage, I cant eat that much it would really upset my stomach, I'm managing 2 -3 a day at the moment since being ill. 8st12 this morning.

Ah thank you octopus, always interesting to hear comments as sometimes I wonder how decent my food is. At the moment I am definitely adding fruit in an effort not to get over hungry. Definitely helps. Period has arrived here and I'm down to 9st 3.75. I need to take note of the date as will need to eat kore the previous week and it explains my weak will last week perhaps.

@ColleysMill I might look into those. Even though my current scales are fine.

I am down again today 11st 8.5, just quarter of a pound down. But this is the first time my weight has dropped two days in a row after a fast day. Fasting again today. I will have a tiny amount of overnight oats with chia seeds at lunchtime, afternoon snack is usually a couple of plain crackers celery and carrot sticks. And my dinner will be turkey breast with salad and caesar dressing.

12:9.6 again today.

Funeral yesterday and luckily I didn't feel hungry at all so avoided the buffet.

You all sound like you’re doing really well! I’m not weighing tomorrow, I’ve been terrible all week Blush too much food and not enough movement! I will weigh in on Sunday
