Hi, here's the new thread. Its pouring with rain , the days are getting shorter, so I thought we needed some optimism.

8st 12 this morning, aiming for a bit of a loss this month, I would be pleased with a pound. I've got my Dad coming down for two weeks tomorrow so going to be quite busy, which generally helps.

Well done @TheHoneyBadger and @HeyGirlHeyBoy. 8st8.75 this morning. I'm eating again now, but think my sense of taste is going to take time to come back.

Well done @TheHoneyBadgerand @HeyGirlHeyBoy

Please you are starting to feel better @Octopus37

I am 11st 11.7 again this morning. The PMS is starting to ease now. I need to gut my house over the weekend as I am wanting to get it valued by an estate agent. Hoping that will burn a few calories.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 29/10/2021 15:50

Thank you LadyDanbury and good luck with house gut. Good you have sime appetite octopus. Logging now as I have danaged my shoulder and generally feel rotten so going to stay away from the phone for the evening as it doesn't help.
Strawberries, kiwi and Greek yoghurt, cappuccino
Pitta with pesto and cheese and large bowl carrot and chickpea soup
Chicken curry with lots of veg and small portion basmati (later)
2L water done and counting. Enjoy your Fridays all.

TheHoneyBadger · 29/10/2021 15:51

There's probably at least 1,000,000 calories of housework to be done here if you want the opportunity LadyD? Wink

LBB2020 · 29/10/2021 18:52

Well done @HeyGirlHeyBoy!
Glad you’re starting to feel better now @Octopus37. Haha I’ve probably got another 1,000,000 calories worth of housework here too @TheHoneyBadger Grin

Big long post typed and pressed something Angry Thanks octopus, shoulder still v sore but I think slightly better. Total pain. You're nearly there now, hope appetite continues to improve.
Aims same each day: 2L water, no junk, teeth and skin and I'm adding a 12k step target today as have walked already and planning more exercise later. I have a kids party too so will need to keep away from the snacks an eat before I go! Have a lovely Sat all.
Oh, I weighed as it is a week since I got my head in gear, 9st 1.75. Thrilled. Won't weigh till midweek at earliest now.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 30/10/2021 18:54

Logging for the day
Greek yoghurt and strawberries and kiwi, cappuccino
Small portion of bolognese and cheese (at party, worked well!)
Beef stew with broccoli and potatoes
12k steps in the bag.
Hooe you've all had a good day. Apologies if I'm an over enthusiastic returner/newbie! Blush

NutellaEllaElla · 30/10/2021 21:42

Well done, great going there @HeyGirlHeyBoy!

I discovered Tesco's bakery "Brookies", which are little squares of heaven at 40cals each.

A good day for me. Went to the restaurant and didn't eat the brownie I ordered because it was uncooked. You know how they're meant to be undercooked, well this was just uncooked and NOT worth the calories. No tyres slashed. Awesome Smile.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 30/10/2021 22:04

Brill. No tyres slashed! Star I actually watched a YouTube video of the woman who coined that phrase yesterday! Grin

NutellaEllaElla · 31/10/2021 07:09

Who's that? I only learned the phrase from these threads!

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 31/10/2021 08:09

I read a book way back early 2020, which was good but the meal plan, which I'm sure lots wanted, was too diety and restrictive for me anyway. Molly Carmel is her name. Now she's much more moderate in you tube video and says she told someone to double that plan, just to keep going and help them drop sugar, which is more up my street. Great phrase tho and definitely caught on! Hope to hit 10k today. Teeth and skin, bed by 11, no junk and 2L water minimum.
