Possibly due to pizza, up .4 - but still a shade under 170 so that's a positive. Ended yesterday under 1500.
Another busy day ahead, will cancel my left over pizza for lunch!

I'd curry, naan bread, rice & chips last night, scales back up to Mondays 199.1 but that's understandable

Gensola · 01/09/2021 09:24

Only 12 eggs were actually collected so a lot of the egg follicles were empty or had eggs that were far too small in. I really hope that they all fertilise / last time we had 22 mature eggs but only 2 embryos were made. So worried now we won’t get anything to transfer.
Tentatively booked in for fresh embryo transfer on Monday morning.

Happierwithouthim · 01/09/2021 10:18

Gen fingers crossed, one successful transfer is all you need ThanksStar

Not2bObvious · 01/09/2021 11:22

Everything crossed for you genThanks

Darn it, got hungry, ate my leftover pizza (less than 170) and some ham...and toast & cheese triangles. Dinner isn't til 6! It's just a long/hungry day 😢 Thought I'd be busier than I am, that isn't helping

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 01/09/2021 20:43

Well quite frankly that was a write off of a day, least said the better. Starting the day with carbs (cereal & fruit) seemed to send me on a hunger march all day long.
I'll be back on the protein tomorrow!
How's everyone else getting on?

Gensola · 01/09/2021 22:06

Food today not great
Egg and toast
Blueberry and banana smoothie
Sausage and pea rice
Chocolate

Chicken, pepper, tomato and new potato bake
G&T
😬

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/09/2021 07:15

Early breakfast and lots of carbs sets me off too not
This week has been a disaster.
Motorways food today so will begin tomorrow

Wolfcub · 02/09/2021 07:25

15k steps yesterday and no overeating but the three cans of cider will not help. I'm quite strict about drinking when I'm working so when I'm not I like a little something in an evening. Although a lot less than I use to.

Happierwithouthim · 02/09/2021 07:48

Wolf I'm the same as that I had a drink every night I was away two weeks ago, not the other holiday because there were early starts.

Carbs feed the hunger for more carbs.

I thought I'd sleep like a baby last night I was so tired but I woke very often. 3am every night this week too.

Not2bObvious · 02/09/2021 10:22

Bloody carbs! Don't talk to me about drink, this has truly been a booze filled summer. I'm cutting back for autumn.
Scales went down a by .2 of a pound. I was like a demon yesterday, I honestly think the hunger/weight flux is hormone related. Need to make a note of the date. There is a belief isn't there that women potentially only have 2 weeks they can ideally lose weight each month. I felt like I was dragging my carcass through glue yesterday. Better today, egg/sausage/toast for brekkie

Only 5 of the 12 eggs fertilised. The issue is with DH’s sperm, he had a vasectomy 15 years ago and they had to surgically recover his sperm which means it often isn’t in good condition.
The drop off rate between day 1 and day 5 is 30-50% usually and for us last time was much worse than that (11 to 2 embryos) so pretty down about our chances. Don’t think DH is up for donor sperm which is the next stage as my eggs are fine. Sad

Gen I'm sorry to hear this but fingers crossed, would adoption be an option if he's not keen on donor sperm or is this the end of the line for him if ye aren't lucky this time around? Don't answer if you're not comfortable
Gensola · 02/09/2021 12:16

I don’t think we can adopt because DH has three existing kids and is 56.
I think maybe one more round abroad but depends on what they say about our chances.

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/09/2021 12:41

Oh gen, hoping for a miracle for you ((hug))

Happierwithouthim · 02/09/2021 14:32

Hoping for a miracle baby for ye

Mrsmadevans · 02/09/2021 16:44

Afternoon everyone, been busy with Mum to the dentist and Drs . Just routine Smile
Consequently food has been good Smile
Gen l so hope you are successful this time, nothing would make us all happier you know that Smile . Everything crossed for you lovely Flowers

Wolfcub · 02/09/2021 16:46

Gen hope you get your miracle baby. Fingers and toes crossed

Fish and chips at the seaside for lunch. Not diet friendly at all. Just short of 13k steps and the equivalent of 21 flights of stairs (to be fair a lot of it was stairs). Will be bad next week when I'm back to being glued to a laptop and be lucky to get 5k steps a day

Not2bObvious · 02/09/2021 21:07

Very tough situation for you gen, hoping you get your miracle. V Hard subject to broach about sperm donation, but and I'm sorry to say it, your body is going through an awful lot, sometimes hard conversations need to be had. But don't mind me, I'm a great one for being bolshy until it actually comes to the crunch.
Bloated as a bloaty boat but on the plus side plenty of steps acc to my phone and just under 1600. Planning for an alcohol free weekend, typing that is striking fear in my heart! 😂

I went swimming, it was cold so it was more standing around in the water than actually swimming, surely keeping my body warm burned calories Hmm

Food was ok.

Not2bObvious · 03/09/2021 07:27

Happy Friday. Scales back down to 167.8, same weight as last Friday and back to the 11 stone bracket by a smidge. Onward and downward!
