So after an eating weekend and not tracking 4 lb off last week. I will take that. Out today so will just have to make good choices.

Hope today goes well gen and you start to feel a bit better

Not2bObvious · 30/08/2021 08:48

That's excellent life, great start to the week

Thanks life and not scan was so uncomfortable- I’m glad I popped a leftover surgery cocodamol before going! I now have 25 eggs so she said I will probably be taken off the drugs tonight and do my trigger injection for surgery to remove eggs on Weds. I’ll find out by lunchtime if this is so. I’m a bit annoyed as my clinic make you freeze all the eggs if you get more than 25, and I really wanted a fresh embryo transfer this week. So I have to hope that some follicles are empty :/

Not2bObvious · 30/08/2021 14:04

Not much knowledge of the ivf procedure but it sounds a lot. So hopeful you get success.
I'm feeling very ugh today, painful throat, tired after a poor sleep. I have lots of work on but after working a solid 3 hours, I feel drained and a bit emotional. I think it's hormone related. And oh boy do I want to eat & eat. I haven't but it's a struggle

Mrsmadevans · 30/08/2021 17:42

Gen no wonder you are feeling unwell. 25 eggs seems a lot to me!
However , l know the more they gather the higher your chances of a successful outcome Smile Flowers l am not helping don't worry , l can barely walk let alone paint Hmm
Not poor you , l hope you feel better now , it's horrible feeling yukky and trying to lose weight Flowers
Life sounds like you have made excellent choices great stuff! Smile
Have not done much today , rested and watched the telly , feel fine just nice to have a quiet day sometimes Smile

Wolfcub · 30/08/2021 17:46

I am rejoining. I am fat and need not to be!

Gensola · 30/08/2021 18:01

Thanks all - I am doing my trigger injection tonight at 8 and egg collection surgery is at 8am Weds morning. I’m feeling better now they’ve stopped the stimulation drugs but I think the trigger can make people sick, so just have to wait and see what happens.
25 eggs is a lot - it’s the max they take without freezing them all and making you take a two month break, otherwise you can get poorly. So I hope that they actually get a few less than that!
DH is doing my head in asking hundreds of questions most of which I don’t know the answer to! It’s his most annoying trait by far. Lucky I love him, eh? 😂

Mrsmadevans · 30/08/2021 18:07

Wolf join the club Grin welcome back lovely Smile
Gen Dh is probably worried about you , I know it's very safe but it's the unknown of it all that l imagine gets to you /him. I am glad you are having collection in Weds, l doubt there will be 25 eggs mature enough but it does mean you have a very good chance of getting a lot of good eggs this time Smile everything crossed Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/08/2021 18:13

Hope the injection goes well gen
Welcome back wolf, what’s the plan?

Haven’t tracked today but food ok. Will be back to it tomorrow, just shy of 13k steps

Wolfcub · 30/08/2021 18:39

I'm Not Sure what the plan is yet Life. I did brilliantly in the first lockdown and lost loads but it's all
Gone back on. Stress and emotional eating (and greed and booze) mostly

Happierwithouthim · 30/08/2021 19:48

Saw Monday morning gain this morning Hmm
Drinking definitely affects this

Wolfcub · 30/08/2021 20:08

I have put a metal strap on my Fitbit and got it out of the cupboard. I gave up on it a year ago as even a fabric strap set off my eczema

Not2bObvious · 30/08/2021 21:27

No steps, except around the house, no Fitbit so doesn't matter. Calories nigh on 1900. Tomorrow will be better, hoping for a better sleep & to feel less whacked tomorrow.

Not2bObvious · 31/08/2021 07:04

Did the slight cheaty thing where I reset my start date in Happy Scale, from Sunday to Sunday my average was down 2.2 - so feel much better now😂
Haven't weighed yet but had a decent sleep & feel a lot better. Going to get lots of work & decent movement in today, and lots of water. I've a ton of work that has to be done, yesterday's half day didn't help.

Checking on to new thread but haven't read back. Eating was okay at festival but too much cider! Before leaving I was 12 pounds down overall so going to weigh now. Will report back.....

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2021 07:53

2lb spike but too many carbs yesterday no not enough water. Back to tracking today

Not2bObvious · 31/08/2021 08:00

Down 2lb, so back under 170 at 169.2, hurrah! Showered, makeup on and off to work in 10. Hoping for a good day

Made the mistake of jumping on Scales of Doom this morning and was up 1kg - praying it’s bloat!
Having a super chilled day today before my egg surgery tomorrow morning. Long walk with DH and a (gentle!) spin class as I won’t be able to do any for a bit.
Well done not
Hi north I didn’t realise you’d lost so much, that’s amazing! I want to lose 12-14 in total but have stalled around 8-9 lost now.

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2021 08:47

Step away from then asod gen
Great going mot

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2021 08:47

Mrsmadevans · 31/08/2021 14:31

Well done Not Smile
Fingers crossed for you Tomorrow Gen definitely bloat sweetie Flowers
North that is great you lost all that much well done! Smile
Wolf tell me about the stress, l need to really get some weight off for my back but the stress of dealing with Mum and Bob really isn't healthy eating conducive Smile
life that will be water retention from the carbs , great steps ! Smile
Well it's been toast for brekky and half a trifle for lunch so you can see how my day is going HmmHmmHmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/08/2021 15:56

8000 steps running about after kids. Succumbs to a magnum after school shoes shopping.

I hear ya wolf on emotion and stress eating.not sure what the answer is though

Wolfcub · 31/08/2021 17:31

14000 steps but only because it's half term and we went walking. Too far for the puppy really so suspect he will sleep for a while

Not2bObvious · 31/08/2021 17:54

Got a decent walk in, had a bit under half a takeaway pizza for dinner for just over 700 if their website information is right. It was delicious and it was a struggle to leave a slice behind but ya know goals.
Toast and trifle, I love it mrs, hope it had some Sherry in it! Sorry it's been a day. V busy with a very rude person at the end & I'm torn on whether to take the higher ground or snarl but it'll have to be higher ground. Some people....

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 31/08/2021 22:10

No Sherry Not Grin
Better to take the high ground really for our own sake. Don't lower ourselves to their level ,
NO MATTER HOW Flowers
Great restraint on the pizza and walk Smile
Well done on the steps Wolf & Life Smile
