I sprayed with febreeze type stuff but can still smell it, I actually bought a carpet cleaner before moving in haven't used it yet that's a good idea.

Within cals today Smile

Not2bObvious · 25/08/2021 22:28

Very very busy day, had EP over and stuck to soft drinks. Around 1850 cals but a lot of movement so all good.
Do you think your back is getting any better mrs? You poor thing, so busy and dealing with nausea & pain.
I was guilty of the bed wetting and shared a bed with my big sister. Spent a few nights chucked out of the bed on a pile of soggy bedding, I only remember it now with this chat. What a piddly gang we are😂

This is my danger time now getting tired and stocks running low

Did you try bicarbonate of soda happier? Rub it in leave it then hover off

No bed wetting experience here sorry, now sleep walking…..

Not2bObvious · 26/08/2021 07:25

Morning all. Not much sleep which is disappointing, oh well just got to push on.
I have to go shopping this morning, same situation here life, cupboards very bare after holidays.
Nice morning here so I'll use it as an excuse to get my walk in early. Something simple like spaghetti Bol will have to do, haven't the energy for owt exotic!

Weight update, down .6 to 168.4.
Got .6 to my first goal. Hopefully see it by the end of the week 🤞

Morning 😁
Piddly gang 😂😂😂
Not thank you for asking 🤗, my back is in half but my attitude towards it is excellent as opposed to 2years ago. I take the tablets, l move and get on with it. Last time l didn't know what l was dealing with and was afraid to move , so depressed and still in pain so this time it's better even though the pain is just as bad . I am getting on with it 🙂
You are good to entertain the EP. It is exhausting and would drive me to eat , it does normally, if l wasn't on the appetite suppressants 😂
Life panic mode sets in for me when the cupboard is bare and l buy rubbish and eat it!
Gen keeping everything crossed for you 😁👍🤞
Better shift off to MumBobs in a while 🤗

Gensola · 26/08/2021 08:05

Morning all!
Thanks mrs 💜
I’m eating at the summer school BBQ this eve so planning to stick to chicken, salad etc and avoid bread and crisps. Am driving so won’t have a beer or anything.
Lunch will be avocado on toast with eggs. Breakfast was Greek yog with some raspberries. Cals are settling down now and I’m in a good routine, have worked out I can have one treat thing a day without blowing it.

Weigh day coming up on Sat, feeling bloated from the IVF meds so sts will be a win, or a small loss, hoping not a gain as I have been pretty consistent.

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2021 16:53

Hope you don't have a gain too Gen , enjoy the BBQ.
Have been fine so far , very mild chicken curry in slow cooker for tea #verylowcal

Happierwithouthim · 26/08/2021 17:09

Had my hair washed when I thought of weighing & I STS, which is probably a minuscule loss WinkGrin

Nutracheck had sale on so I got 12 months membership for €29.99, and they'll have an updated app out soon, it's about €2.56 a month so worthwhile I think.

I'm liking their recipe function too and it's more graphic based than mfp. Sure even if it's only the novelty factor it's worthwhile for me.

Happierwithouthim · 26/08/2021 17:10

Not that's great progress hopefully you see 168 before end of week.

Happierwithouthim · 26/08/2021 17:11

It's not very smelly but might do carpet cleaner to be sure

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2021 17:49

I am sure over time the smell will disappear Happier 🤗
Water weighs heavy so l am sure you have lost 😊👏
Excellent bargain re Nutracheck especially if you like using it 🤗
Just going to have my curry with some poppadoms , enjoy your meals everyone 😊

Not2bObvious · 26/08/2021 21:18

Yum slow cooker curry, sounds delish mrs
A change is great happier, finding a new diet tool can really be invigorating. Nice to change things up, that's a great price.
Was the bbq nice gen? Good for you on the designated driver front, nice way to swerve the booze. Practise for you😉🤞
Just over 1600 cals and got around an hours walk in this morning so that's on track. Nice to still feel positive even if it is only 4 decent days, night snacking still a challenge though. Just cause I have cals doesn't mean I should spend 550 on junkBlush

OP posts:
Gensola · 26/08/2021 23:01

BBQ was really nice not I had a roll, apiece of cheesy garlic bread and a chicken thigh wrapped in bacon. A few crisps but that’s it! Oh and 1:2 a chocolate brownie 😂
Sober as a judge tho!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2021 06:45

Did not track yesterday so will go back today and update
Made a pinch of nom stew and threw it away as tasted awful so had an Aldi ding meal

Well done on bbq restraint
That is an good price on nutracheck and worth it if it keeps you going

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2021 07:26

First goal hit 167.8 - for a second the scales for showing 169.4 and I was ahhh hell no, but it decided to save its life and tell the truth😬
Seeing that reinforces my restraint not to drink tonight, I have friends/family coming over tomorrow for food & drinks so I need to be on top form. Friday is usually synonymous with wine so it'll be a change but a good one. Bbq food sounded yum gen, you were positively angelic!
That's disappointing about the food life, good you had an alternative that sounded diet friendly.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2021 09:57

Tracked to bang on 1600 yesterday which I can live with
1600 steps
None this morning as needed to crack on with work before leave. Will make up for it next week

Happierwithouthim · 27/08/2021 12:10

Well my hair being wet didn't change the scales. Sts again today.

Yesterday went a bit tits up and I ended up having goujons & pizza & very little else for dinner & two slices of white toast at night time & guess what I didn't blow the calorie budget 1629 was the tally

A subcontractor brought me a cooked lobster this morning & my colleagues bringing me out for a very belated birthday lunch Grin

Life happy days 1600
Not congratulations 🥳
Gen that sounds lovely

Gensola · 27/08/2021 12:33

Well done life

happier I had lobster for the first time in Galway last summer on my honeymoon, it was beautiful. Am very jealous!

17 eggs on screen today but not quite the sizes needed for collection so more drugs over the weekend then re scan on Monday. Nurse seemed confident egg collection would be next week though.

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2021 12:57

Good luck for Monday gen
That's good munching for very reasonable cals happier, nice one. I do like a bit of lobster 😋
I am starving! Running Mums taxi so won't get fed for a bit, got work/walk/housework done this morning so plenty of activity. Going shopping this evening so that helps avoid the booze

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2021 20:18

Today is off track ish. Other than crisps and some chips decent food. Lots of it after a brutal week we ordered falafel food

Happierwithouthim · 27/08/2021 20:36

That's great news gen
I'd all good foods today & 244 kcal over, didn't eat lobster yet, too tired to do it justice. Big portion of spaghetti Bolognese.
Chicken Caesar Salad with brown bread for lunch
Fruit for snacks

Mrsmadevans · 27/08/2021 20:38

17 eggs oh my that is wonderful , am praying everything goes your way Gen Flowers
life l have cracked today same as you, crisps and chips Hmm
Happier that sounds fantastic you WERE treated ! [sile]
Great stuff Not re the 168 barrier well done!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2021 21:08

Hope one or two of those 17 go
All then way gen

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2021 23:43

Just over 2000 cals here but as long as I'm under my maintenance (reckon 2100-2200) I'm counting it as a successful diet day. And no wine, so very pleased with that. Lots of walking around while shopping so that's got to help
