Ah thank you both so much Not & Unescorted that is so kind of you Smile
Not l know what your Dh is saying but honestly there is nothing like fitting into that dress and knowing you look great and even more importantly feel great . My own Dh doesn't care how big lamand l mean that he really doesn't he has always accepted me for what l am but insode me l don't like being so big , l feel so much better about myself when l am a size l feel suits my body and my mental health. Flowers
Unescorted it really is so upsetting when you can't do something you loved , l get how you feel , when l couldn't walk to my lovely woods or along the seawall at Goldcliffe l was bereft and felt like there was no point l may as well eat for comfort Flowers
LIfe God l hope it is negative , it must be surely ! Flowers
Went out for a lovely Sunday lunch wih Mumbob and their friend. It was delicious.l could have had a pud they all did but l just had a decaff latte and the main. I won't have anymore today because l feel so full still !

Wow mrs that’s such a great achievement - really inspiring 🤩
I cannot WAIT for tomorrow / after almost two weeks indoors I am having a bikini wax, Botox on my frown lines and then dinner with a friend. Praying we don’t get locked down til after Christmas, if at all.

-ve results do it is indeed just a snotty cold
And annoying cough
No gym though

Not2bObvious · 20/12/2021 16:57

That's good news life, sorry you're still feeling pants but at least you won't have any isolation worries.
165 today so marginally better than predicted, ate & drank a lot this weekend so it's a light day today. Wrecked and no exercise done at all as working/food shopping and present wrapping. Oh I'm hoping for a good sleep tonight

I’m quite vexed by it, typical off work and Ill. all best fitness plans poof! Gone

Not2bObvious · 20/12/2021 21:35

As the saying goes, make plans and god laughs, or something to that effect. I hear ya, can do nothing between bruises/grazes/aches. I'm taking a painkiller & hoping for sleep, with luck you'll feel much better in the next day or so. This too shall pass - soz for all the sayings!

Glad you are -ive Life Smile
Not that's good 165 like you said considering your weekend Smile
I think it will drop off you with a light day Smile
I have been so busy l have had nothing to eat till 8 o'clock tonight, shopping, Bobbo's birthday and a visit from my Nephew and his boyfriend , lovely to see them before Christmas just in case it's lockdown !

Not2bObvious · 21/12/2021 07:49

Down to 163.4 - so that's something. Feeling a bit sniffly this morning but I'm sure it'll shift over the course of the day. Having company over tomorrow so will be doing some baking today & tomorrow morning. Might start feeling a bit Christmassy.
Wow that's a long day without food mrs, great that you got to see your nephew. The shopping never bloody ends does it, I'm trying so hard this year to minimise shop visits but no doubt I've a half a dozen more to do

Stupid cold

Not2bObvious · 21/12/2021 21:04

How did everyone's day go? Got all my baking done, just finishing touches tomorrow. Got a 40 minute walk in so no heroic exercise done. Cals an ok 1600'ish although I'm probably a bit off as there was a few cake/icing tastes. Bit sneezy & sniffly but nothing beyond that. Feeling any better life?
Tomorrow's what I consider the start of Christmas and it's the end of my 8 weeks to Christmas countdown I started on the 27th October. It's also exactly 4 months since my initial restart on the 22nd August. Unless a leg falls off overnight I don't think it's going to be an earth shattering result! But I'm in a better place than I was so no complaints unless the scales goes higher than today😂

It’s a down not an up though not.
I unpacked my stuff for staorage and went through my cooking stuff. I’m giving my aspiration life stuff to charity and keeping the stuff I actually use.
Baking and cooking here today

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2021 08:43

Back to 163.1 so 3.8 average down in 8 weeks and 8.6 overall in 4 months.
Up since 6 for more prep, need to do some cleaning and then visitors from around 2pm.
Enjoy the baking & cooking life, good to clear stuff you're not or will never use, someone else might love it

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/12/2021 11:49

What did you bake not?

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2021 11:53

Buns with homemade choc frosting, cranberry traybake, rocky road (not bake clearly!) and finally a sponge cake with almond, and a cherries/custard cream filling.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/12/2021 11:54

Oooo all sounds lovely

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2021 12:15

All sounds dangerous to me😂
My absolute fav is rocky road so I've had a couple of bits but I'm trying for the first piece taste is no different to the 10th so maybe I can leave it there. I'm hoping the cherry/custard cream/almond sponge is good as it's the main cake - and I've budgeted for a slice. Looking back a last years mfp, woooo, I started Christmas big style this week last year

The cranberry traybake has I got me. Recipe?
I’ve made lasagne for tomorrow. Aldi will provide puddings as I’ve run out of steam
