Having a septic throat will do that for you gen, delighted you're feeling better & skinnier, has to be a silver lining😉 61kg is super light, wow!
Body pump and 35 min jog done before my work day started, jog was very doable today so that's good. Scales back to my new lowest 162.4 - teeny bit hopeful that I might see 161 by the weekend. But as we all know, it can go dramatically wrong from here on in.

Ahh so glad you are much better Gen Flowers
Yay to the weight loss Xmas Grin
Not that is amazing well done! Smile
I have been busy again so food has taken a back seat thankfully Smile
Went to see Aladdin Panto in Cardiff it was brilliant , didn't have any treats like ice cream or sweeties so l am pleased Smile

Not2bObvious · 09/12/2021 20:36

I haven't been to a panto in years! Glad you enjoyed mrs
Busy day here too so calories quite low, might help me rebalance cals to the 1750 average I was trying for. Only a 50 cal reduction and I've found it impossible this week so far.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 10/12/2021 07:14

Fluxy Friday despite low cal Thursday. 163.6 - I'd be screaming if I only weighed on Friday as was 162.8 last Friday. Anywho! Going out for dinner tomorrow so will need to be good'ish today to make room for it.
Anyone doing anything nice? This day 2 weeks for Christmas Eve, must do a list of what I need. Feel very behind this year. I think I have all presents cause we're not going mad but better make sure

Train to London today for the weekend so another rightoff

Gensola · 10/12/2021 13:16

I had a makeup session at Charlotte Tilbury which was free since I bought some products. The look is a bit heavy but it was fun.
Now meeting a friend for a tea before heading home to chill with a book. Feeling a bit depressed about omicron and the whole return of uncertainty - feels like we will never get out of this :(
Can I just warn everyone that the so called ««dark comedy» Xmas film Silent Night is actually a really horrible apocalypse film which gave me nightmares last night. To be avoided unless you’re a fan of such things!

Not2bObvious · 10/12/2021 15:23

Sounds like you're having a lovely day gen, noted about scary film - need no more nightmares! I can't even go there about omicron, we never made it out of masks here & have had the vaccine passports for months so in a way we're not much worse off. Kids over 12 double jabbed for a good few months. Apart from them masking kids over 9 and now V's for 5-11 much is how it has been. Sickened and sick of it. Anyway... trying to rise a bit above it & just keep going. Scales dropped a bit as I did a curiosity weigh after jog/walk. Despite having breakfast & tea, I was down .6 on early morning weigh. I dunno, how does one go about breaking up with their scales🤪

I feel the same l am way behind Hmm Been to see my friend today, had a lovely time she tried to feed me up but l resisted Xmas Grin she is a real hero to me , she is on the frontline vaccinating against Covid and doing community vaccinations on Nursing homes. Love her to bits she is an angel. Smile That is disappointing re the weight today versus last Friday but it's odd that you are really heavier with the cals you are consuming . On paper it just shouldn't happen Flowers

I have no intention of watching that awful sounding film Gen thank you for the heads up Smile Glad you had a good time in Charlotte Tilsbury Smile

Train to London today for the weekend so another rightoff
Have a great time Life Smile
Mrsmadevans · 10/12/2021 22:20

Been fine again thankfully , went to the Drs for bloods , Dr going to ring me next Friday re my bloods and my Medication. Although my B/P is excellent now l am up to the loo 4 x a night and it's exhausting ! I think he will change it because l will have tried it for a month then Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/12/2021 07:25

And we have a cold, brilliant. Definitely a cold

Not2bObvious · 11/12/2021 10:23

Ahh bugger that life, that's rubbish timing. Are you in London for fun? I hope it's not too bad a dose.
Still 163'ish today. And it's a foodie day with dinner & drinks out. Going to relax & enjoy it, might get into the Christmas spirit seeing the lights

OP posts:
Gensola · 11/12/2021 10:50

life sorry to hear about the cold! I’m paranoid about catching covid or being a contact now as it would stop us travelling to NI for Xmas so we are going to cut back on social stuff for a couple of weeks - apart from the birthday party tomorrow where we will keep distance plus the hosts have asked everyone to LFT first.
I’m scared to go on the peleton after watching “Just like that” the sex and the city reboot. 😂
not hope you have a great night.
I’m trying to get 15000 steps a day between now and Xmas plus some sort of workout. Might start with strength training as my chest probably can’t cope with a strenuous cardio sesh!

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/12/2021 12:29

We are doing hog warts at Christmas then might do some London lights round Piccadilly Oxford street

Not2bObvious · 11/12/2021 13:39

That sounds fabulous life
I never in my life thought I'd hear people asking guests to test, it's just bizarre how normal this is becoming. My gob is smacked, the lft testing wasn't a thing here, only very recently has it been thought an acceptable testing method (our medical advisory were against them)
Have to make sure I have my vaccine passport ready for my outing!

Life Flowers your plans sound fabtastic l am drooling !
Not have a lovely time, they have asked us to test to go to a OAP Christmas lunch taking Mumbob it put the willies up MUmbob so we aren't going now Xmas Hmm
Gen have a lovely time tomorrow at the party Smile
Been fine today busy , so it helps , as l keep going on about Xmas Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/12/2021 07:24

Was lovely but not diet friendly. Train home today so might make some effort from tomorrow

Not2bObvious · 12/12/2021 07:52

Definitely not supposed to be diet friendly, glad you enjoyed.
First very high calorie day for a while - around 3,500 and was very easily done. Home by 8pm in bed by 10pm, proper exhausted. I've pulled something in my upper back, soo annoying & bloody painful. Feels like it's in spasm. Haven't weighed yet, shouldn't imagine it'll be a number I'll like.
You sound like you're doing very well mrs, how you finding the calories- were you aiming for 1700 I think? Epic fail here trying for 1750, yesterday's 2 days of calories kicked that idea up the arse😂

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 12/12/2021 08:27

Scales up to 164.6, but average now done by .8 this week. Pleased with that. Now not to make a balls up of this week! Family thing this day week but apart from that no reason not to get 7 good days between now & then. Low'ish calories Asian takeaway planned for today, should be nice and I'll be on track for a 1750 day if I do my best

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 12/12/2021 23:26

Ahhh glad you had a good time life Smile
Not hope your back is ok now lovely Flowers
I am getting on ok with the cals Not l don't even feel like eating half the time l think it's the IF working it's magic thank God! Xmas Grin
You will be fine l am sure you will get it off and more by the end of the week Smile
Took MumBobs to the Nant y ffin inn in Cwmdu today for their Sunday lunch , they had a whale of a time and it was beautifully decorated Smile

Not2bObvious · 13/12/2021 07:20

Glad you're doing well mrs, sounds like you had a lovely day too - love a Sunday lunch! My back is just niggly now, thankfully not a proper mischief done just minor. I'll keep the shoulders back and hope for all niggles to gone soon.
Most definitely on the bloat boat here, up another pound to 165.6 - back to normal weekday food & no booze so should get back to the 162's by midweek, maybe a nudge into 161 by the weekend. Rubbish sleep so feeling a bit meh but I'll get myself together by 9am

Gensola · 13/12/2021 17:04

Hello from
Covid towers! My PCR came back positive and they’ve said we have to isolate til 19th. Sigh! At least I have plenty of nice food in and things to do.
About to go on the exercise bike for an hour and do some climbs and a spin class.
Dinner this eve is a baked polenta thing with mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach.
So nice to have you back mrs and to hear you feeling better x

Not2bObvious · 13/12/2021 18:00

Oh crap gen, any idea where you caught it? Listen to your body, especially after having strep very recently. Any ill effects from the COVID so far? Does this affect you going home - I'm full of questions sorry! This is what 20 months of very little company does for you, you're filled with interest in everyone else's doings.
