Not totally tracked as fast and loose with milk. 1400 tracked though out of 1600

That’s some record not. I gave up as I’m struggling MH wise and need to try sort myself out before asking for different ads

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2021 21:20

Getting your MH sorted should be the number 1 priority for sure, I hope you get to a point of feeling much better. I wish I didn't feel compelled to still use mfp, saying that I did quit the Fitbit, it could be next! I don't know how much it serves me - a woman I follow who lost shedloads just cleared her record & started afresh. That sounds liberating to me. I still have mine set at holiday cals of 2300, it seems to help me stick to my average of around 1850-1900. If I could just get it done to 1650-1800, I think I'd see better progress.

Thank you Not l am so happy to be back . Artificial sweetener is a nasty chemical imho. I think it leads me to eat more 🙄
You have tracked for so long l don't think you can stop now either and tbh with you l think it's really commendable that you have done this too well done! 👏
Life nothing and l mean that nothing is more important imho that our mental health 💐here's to you feeling much more healthy 💐
Well l have eaten a little over today but not too badly so be it , have a good rest everyone 🙂

Not2bObvious · 22/09/2021 07:26

Morning all, looking like another decent day here. I'm going to do my c25k after the school run and before work, and weights at lunchtime. That's the plan at least. Few nice bits planned for food, courtesy of M&S yellow sticker haul, I'd be wayyyy too mean to pay the full price!
How's everyone else doing?

OP posts:
Gensola · 22/09/2021 11:29

I haven’t dared weigh yet - going to wait until Saturday. I’ve been getting 15,000 steps a day now consistently for almost two weeks, food has mainly been ok too.
Haven’t managed a spin class as I’m still running low on energy which is a side effect of the massive doses of hormones, hopefully they will work their way out of my system now.
mrs I agree about sweeteners, I avoid them all I can.

Not2bObvious · 22/09/2021 13:18

Well the advice from me, avoid sugar free jellies from Aldi at all costs, they contain something called malitol which is lethal. Of course, eating the full pack (3 servings) wasn't helpful. Never experienced anything like it, they cause diarrhoea for most people, just pain for me. Bloody typical, could have done with a good clean out😂 Joking aside, never again.
C25k done, body pump done, yellow sticker lunch done, some work done. Now watching a bit of crap tv for the rest of my lunch break. I do like wfh some days

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2021 18:26

Good clear out you say…
On track again today

Not2bObvious · 22/09/2021 19:16

Yes apparently so, unless you have stupid sluggish bowels like me. Sluggish would be positively high speed for me, more like stopped dead bowels. Sorry for the tmiBlush
Good for you, not doing too bad here. No chocolate for 3 days now

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2021 19:28

Was it sugar free gummies that are also lethal?

Not2bObvious · 22/09/2021 20:35

Maybe they're called gummies, they were at the checkout. The dangerous ingredient is the malitol, or it is when you eat the whole pack. In my defence, it was only 160 cals and I was trying to stay off the chocolate & crisps. I'm removing every last bit of joy from my life...

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 22/09/2021 22:09

God Not it's awful isn't it ?
Every last thing that we enjoy has to go , sucks the joy out of life 😌
Hey ho up boys and at em!
Those sugar free things sound horrible but l can see the attraction at the till only 160 Cal, will help with the bowels so Yum 🤗 nevermind it is what it is !
Gen Not excellent work 👍

northender · 22/09/2021 23:10

Quick check in from me. Weighed in this morning, 15 pounds down in total so still going in the right direction 13 more to go before the big 5 0 in November!

Not2bObvious · 23/09/2021 07:32

That's brilliant north - keep going the way you are & it's in the bag.
Ugh, up .4 this morning. This flux is killing me - I must be due a drop soon surely. I'm being patient, just feeling a bit despondent at the minute. According to Happy Scales (a misnomer if there was ever one!) I'm losing at a rate of .69 a week. It's coming up on 5 weeks back from holidays and I'm still not near my pre holiday weight. And at this rate it'll be another 3 weeks. So 12 days on, 8 weeks off.
Rant over, sorry all. Have a great day

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2021 07:46

Rant away not. You must be due a drop
Travel today and out for dinner, least damage day. Lots of sitting so fewer steps

Gensola · 23/09/2021 08:55

not last year for my wedding I lost a stone over 6 months before it and put it all back on in the week of the wedding and two weeks after on holiday Grin I then lost most of it again but was very annoyed with myself lol
north that’s amazing, well done!
I have been green lighted by my clinic to go again on my October period and have a double embryo transfer at end of Oct-early Nov, it’s our last try before going to Czech Republic next summer for a third and final cycle out there.
So I want to have a very healthy month now and be in best shape possible! Lots of water, less booze and more movement.

Not2bObvious · 23/09/2021 09:17

It used to be easy on, easy off. Now it seems to super glue on. Irritating because I've really really worked on it the last 5 weeks, reduced drinking drastically, kept to calories, exercises regularly. Any'f'ing'way, it'll shift eventually, giving up won't speed up the process but man, I'd love a bar of chocolate and a pint of wine...only kinda joking.
Good news on the IVF, 🤞

Happierwithouthim · 23/09/2021 15:33

Hi everyone
I'm out of sorts, don't know if it's my throat or just in general. Seem to be over the weepy phase though so that's a big help.

Scales is inconsistent in or around 200 last few days.

Gen that's good news

North what are you doing to achieve this weight loss?

Mrsmadevans · 23/09/2021 19:01

Gen omg sweetheart that is wonderful news am so pleased for you 😀
Yes to having a very healthy month , tip top condition for these embryos lovely ❤️
Not it all takes so much time to drop the weight yet so quick to go on its so depressing! Grrr 🙄
North that is amazing well done 👏😀
Happier AHH bless you it's a lot for you to do on your own , it'll come off 🤗
Life dinner out sounds lovely enjoy
I am just getting to Cardiff to see Priscilla Queen of the desert and l can't wait needless to say there's a lot of scoffing afterwards probably a McDonald yuk yuk yuk or Chinese takeaway. Have a lovely evening everyone 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2021 20:16

Million calories today.
Keeping hopes up for Oct gen

Gensola · 23/09/2021 21:09

Thanks all 😍 I’m slightly nervous about twins but would secretly love them despite obvious poverty and madness that would follow lol

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/09/2021 21:34

Twins would be marvellous and crazy all in one

Happierwithouthim · 23/09/2021 21:57

Gen ds was meant to be a twin would've had 3 under 4, a friend had twins first with treatment, it was hard going but worth it!

Had homemade soup today made by roasting the butternut squash & peppers in air fryer it was too sweet by far, went out for dinner had salmon with lemon beurre sauce carrots and half of a small portion of chips plus a zero alcohol cider, was lovely

Not2bObvious · 24/09/2021 11:34

Minor whoosh? Down to new low (this time) 166.2 - granted it was post workout/c25k. For a split second I saw 164 something and I nearly had a heart attack😂 Checked I hadn't lost a hand! Down .6 from last Friday, so the average loss of .69 a week is fairly accurate. Stickiest fat ever.
Happy Friday all, think I'll treat myself to some flowers

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 24/09/2021 12:06

Excellent not hope that 164 isn't too far away

northender · 24/09/2021 12:56

Not that's brilliant. Some of the numbers are real milestones aren't they?
I went down another pound yesterday, but back up again today, very happy with that.
Happier I have a lot to lose which helps I think and the 15 pounds is over 8 weeks so slow & steady, but in that time I've had meals out and haven't felt like I've denied myself anything. I loosely follow Food Doctor principles and lots of circuits/HIIT type exercise. I'm determined that this is it for the long term. I wasn't going to be the fat mum at the school gate but now the dc are 20 & 16 I have no more excuses!!
As of today I am 17 st 11 or 249 pounds, both significant for me, under 18st and under 250 pounds.
