Ok, I'm caught up on posts now...
Thank you for your kind messages and understanding, neverenough got it right when she said we've had fear drilled into us for so long, that a complete lift of all restrictions feels very unnerving (whether you're vulnerable or not)
I'm still feeling low, but at least no longer emotional (pesky hormones). After speaking to a friend, I realised it's a lot going on - feeling lonely/being alone, IBD flare up due to those nasty antibiotics, anxiety about restrictions lifting, lack of job/money worries, and my mum found a couple of breast lumps a couple of weeks ago so was urgently referred to breast clinic. She's actually there now - has had a mammogram, ultrasound, and they've taken 3 biopsies. The consultant is going to call me when my mum is back in the clinic. My poor mum - after getting ill with covid at the start of the year and needing hospitalisation, a couple of falls since, breast lumps are the last thing she needed. Hoping they come back as harmless.
Oh and to top it all off, I have achilles tendonitis so it's incredibly painful to walk so I'm following the R.I.C.E method until referral for ultrasound/physio goes though. So much for exercise/C25k now! @Morningmaeve are you still continuing with C25k? and are you back to being dry after the weekend?
@AuldFox great news on reaching your target!!
for you!
@BlodwinTheThird 9st10! Amazing. Enjoy the weekend/wedding, and get back to it when you feel ready.
@EdwinaLIzzard you've done really well to drop 2lbs! How's this week been for you?
@neverenoughchelseaboots do keep dropping by if you can, let us know you and the little one are ok? When are you due?
@Sooverthemill oh no, your poor DD. What is she currently thinking?
@Knittingnanny how are you getting on?
@SwimmingOnEggshells @WellTidy hope you are both ok
Oh and now back to weight loss...
I went up to 9st12 last week but I'm ok with that given it was period week. I haven't calorie counted for about 4/5 weeks and can't seem to get back to it. As long as I'm still losing, I won't worry so much. Will need to try and be sensible on the food front now given my lack of mobility. Currently living on easy frozen food/shove in oven jobs to keep me off my feet.
