Happy June everyone. Here is the new thread. Not sure what my aims are this month, mainly to try and get on a more even keel. I'm up from the start of May 9st5.25 this morning. Hope everyone is still enjoying the good weather.

Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather. Made the final decision with pulling out of my website work, feel relieved to be honest. GP phone appointment to discuss HRT today. 9st5 this morning but not really focusing on weight. One of many good things with this weather, its easy to drink lots of water

Oh crapping hell: 64kg!!!! I'm disgusted with myself. AF is here but even so. Must get back to intermittent fasting today.

Gosh I’ve never been in my 9 stones since I was 19/20 years old! Couldn’t even imagine i May ever get back.

Yesterday something triggered in me and I did day one on 5:2. I’ll combine it with 16:8 also when possible too!

I’m weighing in pounds and am horrified that this time last year I was 168lb, I’m now 180 (178-182 range for the last 4 months)

Something has to change. Right now I’m 2wks post operation, so have moved less in this 2wks than ever, so it is time to kick start and go for it.

My big goal: 138lb (just into the 9’s)
My goal for now: 154lb

No time frame, but I just need to use my willpower and be consistent.

Good luck octopus. Goodmorningsunshine, I'm only 5,2 with a v slight frame so anything over 9 v much shows on me. I do believe we have a natural weight that is our true selves as such and I think going too far one way or the other over or under that is hard. I'm almost at mine now.

I’m 13:5.6 today. Heading down again hopefully. Gym this evening. I had that whoosh one off weigh in of 13:4.6 last week but haven’t seen it since.

@HeyGirlHeyBoy That’s great you are nearly there. It’s so true what you said. I’ve got a friend who is also 5ft 5/6 like myself and when we were both exactly the same weight, we looked totally different!

I’m 5’7 with biggish breasts and big hands and feet so definitely a different goal. On the rare occasion I’ve been under 9st I have attracted lots of worried and concerned comments.

@TheHoneyBadger funny you should say that. On my wedding day I was 10st 5 and received comments like that! From someone so much smaller than me.

I do hold my weight well, but I’m now uncomfortable and ready to change (again 🤦🏼‍♀️)

I love threads like this as you realise your not alone with your struggles!

Hello! Can I (re) join?
I was on these threads last year under a different name & they were so helpful, but then I fell off the wagon and put most of my extra weight back on.
My aims this time are:
Walk an average of 10,000 steps
Eat an average of 1500 calories per day
Eat slowly, enjoy my food, try to be more active with the kids

I stay even when I fall off the wagon.

Doing jobs around the house today and in this heat it feels physical. Off to the gym in an hour to sweat even more.

I would like to join to get a bit of accountability! I have been struggling with things a bit.

I am no S’ing (no snacks, no sugar, and no seconds) DH is also dieting he using the 21day Fix from Beachbody and is currently carb cycling. Luckily they both fit together ok. (DH is trying to loose 30kg)

My starting weight was 72.1kg in April,
Current weight 69.3kg
Goal 65kg.

I usually love my walking. Can get 10-15k on a work day without trying and make the effort to get 10k if at home. Right now I’m averaging 2k per day, some days less than 1k last week.

Really miss it! Won’t be long.

Today I’ve had a fairly good day, I’ll pay more attention to my 5:2 than calories initially. Have eaten far too much chocolate these past few weeks but thankfully it hasn’t shown on the scales! Maybe my womb weighed more than I realised 🤣

I’ve upped my water, I suppose the warmer weather helps x

I'm having a good day calories wise. I wish I wasn't so all or nothing though. It seems to be at the moment that I am either "on" a diet/controlled food plan or I am OFF big style. I also wish I could moderate my food when socialising.

Have you ever looked at the Paul McKenna weight loss program @NutellaEllaElla? I've a few friends who've found it really good especially for eating out & socialising

I’m drenched in sweat and found the gym really hard going today. Hopefully that means it’s done a lot of good. Fasted work out so should have all been fuelled by fat stores.

Might have to have a cold shower once I’ve recovered

Ono and cappuccino
Banana and almonds
Banana and large handful almonds
Lasagna with broccoli and peas, lots of veg in sauce.
Nutella I get that completely. In the zone very much now, not viewing it as diet at all as simply just 3 meals but feel like if had a dessert I'd be risking it snowballing maybe. Now at same time I don't feel hungry, don't feel like eating junk and haven't been tempted even once so hopefully I'm on a bit of a roll.

I read and listened to I can make you thin, years ago of that's the one you mean? All I remember is eating mindfully to be honest.

It was delish Nutella. I only had one lot of banana and almonds BTW! Grin Nutella, your recommendation, was it a file, aybe 2 weeks ago, re 'hooks' and saying 'I'm not going to let you hook me' is helpful.

250g of prawns
Big bowl of raspberries and blue berries with meringue and low fat whipped cream.

Just found out Egypt has been put on the red list. Due to fly there in less than 7 weeks, haven't been able to get there for 2 years now and worried I'm going to lose my flat. So sick of bloody covid.

God it's so awfully depressing that travel restrictions are STILL not lifting. I don't know how you might lose your flat but I sincerely hope not Badger. Sad

I'm so disappointed @NutellaEllaElla We'd taken a punt and booked (completely flexible) to go to Majorca later this month. I don't know whether to just postpone, or go anyway. In theory we can quarantine when we get back (DH is still wfh) and could do the five day test & release, but I would then have to quarantine five days with two small DC for a one week holiday and I just don't know if it's worth it. But I'm so keen to get away. Bollocks. If we postpone, DH can't get time off work until September due to work.

Anyway, weigh day here. 75.2 kg, down 200g (11st 8, down not even half a pound). I'd really hoped to hit 75kg by the end of May, but I have been a bit slack. I need to get back to tracking in MFP. At least it's not up. Ideally, I'd like to lose 2.5kg in June, but will have to pump my game.
