Happy June everyone. Here is the new thread. Not sure what my aims are this month, mainly to try and get on a more even keel. I'm up from the start of May 9st5.25 this morning. Hope everyone is still enjoying the good weather.

Enjoy octopus.

I’m 13:5.2. A tiny bit down but it’s down so I’ll take that.

MakkaPakkas · 25/06/2021 15:09

Well done all!
I think of the diet ice creams more as frozen diet protein shakes than as ice cream, but I do like them. Oppo choc hazelnut is my favourite one, but I also like the peanut butter halotop.
If you want the real stuff you can get 150 cal portions of Hagan daz which are lovely and a small portion only problem in my house is then the kids eat them.
Today I've had
B. Toast pb&j, coffee (350ish)
L. Leftover spicy pepper stew & a fried egg, slice of cherry & almond cake (prob 600)

Not really very well planned as I was looking for something to eat when I was out and nothing appealed, hence the cake & then an odd meal when I got back.
Will have fish curry tonight which is relatively healthy

@NutellaEllaElla well done. Food and drink involved two pints of Strawberry cider, lots of crisps, biscuits, chips and a takeaway curry last night and not nearly enough steps. Therefore 9st3.75 today. Aiming for better food and steps today and hoping to be down a bit tomorrow.

9st2 today. Off up North to celebrate my Nephew's Birthday today, so there wont be many steps, but will try not to go too mad. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Enjoy Octopus.

Same weight today. 13.5.2. That's half a pound down on last Sunday - micro loss but a loss I guess.

Octopus37 · 28/06/2021 07:11

Well done @TheHoneyBadger, its going the right way. Predictably 9st3.5 this morning, hardly any steps, some buffet food. Didn't go crazy but enough. Also DS persuaded me to stop at Nandos in Euston on our way home. I had the rainbow salad, v tasty but also probably still quite calorific and my stomach feels like a lead weight today. Was all worth it though.

Well done @TheHoneyBadger. I take any loss as a win these days. If it isn't the same or going up I'm happy.

I don't expect a big loss this week, we were out for a pub dinner on Saturday for DDs birthday. I didn't feel hungry until midday yesterday though. So had I eaten sensibly I could have nicely offset that dinner. However I had chocolate cake for brunch, and an ice cream mid afternoon. I did have a healthy dinner of venison steak though.

Trying to keep up with the exercise, although didn't manage much yesterday.

Octopus37 · 29/06/2021 06:51

Still up today, 9st3.5. Period though, so hoping it will balance out in a few days

Ugh! Bad day yesterday. DD left a packet of minstrels lying around and I decided to have a couple and almost finished the bag. DH also cooked mozzarella sticks to go with dinner, and they are a huge weakness for me. So after being out on Saturday and now this, my weight this morning is what is was last week. Back to being good today.

Cuzco · 29/06/2021 11:01

Checking back in... we did do our week in Majorca as planned despite the Amber status (gutted to have missed the change to green!) so now I'm at home finishing off our quarantine with the kids whilst DH wfh. It's certainly made me realise I will have to go back to work at the end of mat leave as I'm really not cut out to be a ftm! But it was so worth it to see DS enjoy the beach and pool. He hadn't been for a swim for half of his lifetime due to pool closures so it was completely new to him.

I had a mini whoosh before we went away and finally (after weeks!) managed to get under the 75kg mark, at 73.4, and seem to have held flat at that over the holiday, although I wouldn't be surprised if I creep up over the next week or so due to quarantine impact/lack of walking.

I hope you've all been keeping well, I'll have a catch up read, just in time for a new thread almost!

LadyDanburysHat · 29/06/2021 12:12

@Cuzco so lovely to hear you had a great holiday. And well done for maintaining while away. That's not easy.

TheHoneyBadger · 29/06/2021 12:23

Welcome home Cuzco and well done on the loss and holding it.

I didn't weigh this morning but have been to the gym and been busy around the house and have burned over 1500 cals already so today should be a good day so long as I don't go mad with food. I promised to make ds seafood spaghetti this evening but really don't fancy pasta - may just have a small portion or make something different for myself.

I've bought a yoga ball and have been doing some core exercises with that.

Been a bit unwell so not on top form but trying to exercise when I can and take it easy when I have to.

TheHoneyBadger · 29/06/2021 21:21

Hoping for good scales news tomorrow if I can just resist the snacky thoughts trying to take over my brain. Had scrambled eggs with garlic mushrooms and smoked salmon for dinner and ate early. Must resist snacking!

This week I'm only managing to keep under calories on my sugar free days... Not really feeling it at the moment!
