Back to Monday asod. Feeling hormonal so. May explain bottomless hunger. And the wanting to eat crap.
Horrible wet day

Mrsmadevans · 17/05/2021 14:16

Afternoon everyone Smile
I have been ok today , been shopping so busy, weather has improved but l know it is temporary Hmm
Hope your hormones settle down life they make us ravenous!

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2021 14:55

And it's Monday again, another bloody week restricting at one end and binging & making excuses at the other end. For me at least. Not sad or mad, just stating the obvious. First go of the scales was hideous, tried again at lunchtime as unwittingly had a fasted morning, aka no time for food, only tea & coffee. Much better result second time, up .6 on yesterday. Starting the week at 164.4 which I'll take happily. I want to see 162 for Friday, that's my target. I was 163 last Friday and I didn't overeat enough to gain a true 1.4 so it's not impossible.
Just over 10,000 - hope to get another 2-3,000

Chocolate was the core food group here

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2021 22:09

I've had a 1200 calorie day due to no breakfast & a busy day. I'll probably be ravenous tomorrow. A shade over 13,500 steps. Unexpected office visit tomorrow to mix things up, I'd quite like to get my workout done before work - it's pretty tough these days to do it though. Once upon a time I got up at 5.30am to go to 6am bootcamp 3 times a week, rarely missed it. Was still as fat as I am now so hey ho

Down .2 - it's start. 2.2 to hit target by Friday

Not try to chill a little today , you must be exhausted lovely. Is there a reason you could not sleep? Great calorie intake yesterday hopefully the sod will reflect it for you.
Take care everyone. Have a lovely day 🌼

Gensola · 18/05/2021 10:14

hello all! I keep falling off the thread, things are so crazy at work.

I have my first leg operation tomorrow - hoping for c.3 litres removed, we shall see! I am really nervous having seen some internet pics of bruising and swelling post the same operation.
I have Weds and Thurs off work then Fri am WFH if I am well enough (surgeon says I will be). Then WFH Mon and Tues, second op next Weds. Can't wait until it is all done tbh and I can focus on recovery and getting back into a good fitness and eating routine.

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/05/2021 11:52

Good luck gen

Mrsmadevans · 18/05/2021 14:41

Not2bObvious · 18/05/2021 16:29

So I am not spending £££££ yet anyway. Might as well unpack a bit

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/05/2021 21:20

I feel like shit. I have a total sugar headache and like a complete fat bastard. Tomorrow is reset day

Mrsmadevans · 18/05/2021 22:34

So sorry Life it's such a roller coaster Flowers
Hope the headache is easing Smile

Not2bObvious · 18/05/2021 22:46

No workout today it got just over 15,700 steps so that's something. Plenty of water if you can life, hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. Is it really only Tuesday?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 19/05/2021 06:44

Yup, it's been a long week.
Feeling jittery today so will no doubt have sugar withdrawal

Not2bObvious · 19/05/2021 07:49

Down a bit more today which is good, 2 days to blitz weekend bloat is pretty ok for me. 2 more days to hit my weekly goal - no room for messing.

Morning everyone 😀
Good luck to Gen 🌼👏😊
Not that's great re the sod, keep going 👏😊🤗
Life sugar withdrawal takes me s couple of days to recover from, caffeine helps!

Gensola · 19/05/2021 13:07

All done and on way home, trussed up in lots of spanx type surgical garments. In a bit of pain but not too bad. They took 2L of diseased fat and fluid - not too shabby!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/05/2021 13:15

Ooh gen you will be a waif now. Take care and rest up

Not2bObvious · 19/05/2021 13:39

Oh so glad all went well gen, jeez 2 litres is a lot. Hope you aren't in too much discomfort.
Did my LM, jog/walk. Just over 10,500 - chained to laptop so doubtful I'll get much more

OP posts:
Gensola · 19/05/2021 14:13

I am a bit disappointed because other ladies on my support group have had 3-4 litres but I think maybe they were bigger to start with. I was 62kg weighed today in clinic, so had lost weight between consult and surgery, I think maybe nerves!!
Any trashy TV recommendations or books?

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/05/2021 14:23

Noo gen 2l is still amazing to be off.

Not2bObvious · 19/05/2021 15:00

Comparison is the thief of joy in every scenario gen - I think it's positive rather than negative that you had less affected tissue than others.
Ooh trashy, have you Netflix? The Bold Type is enjoyable if a bit ridiculous, Kim's Convenience very easy going, Lovesick is really good but I don't know anyone bar me who's watched it😂
