Anyone want to join me? It's 1st February tomorrow which seems a good day to start.

Three stone to lose here, I can't put it off any longer. I hate being overweight.

Nothing fits me and I am so miserable.

Well done on some amazing losses!
I didn’t keep to plan yesterday Blush but did get out for a long walk. Trying to do better today although I’ve just polished off a load of rich tea biscuits whilst sitting feeding the baby (I need to sew my mouth shut!) but again have been out for a walk this morning

Onamissionn · 02/03/2021 15:55

@StrawberryFizz26

onanissionn that's ace! How did you do it?
Thank you! I’m doing fast 800. Hard for a few days and then strangely all hunger and cravings stopped. Fast from 8pm - 12 then have a protein filled lunch and dinner. I’ve had a few slip ups (ice cream mainly! Wink) but it’s worked really well for me.

I haven’t been this ‘small’ in about 8 years!

StrawberryFizz26 · 02/03/2021 18:09

OMG! That's what I'm supposed to be doing.
100% going to get onto it and do it properly, I'm due on and struggling to do anything other than walk the dog & sleep!!!

Had crap for lunch today too. Waaaah.
I'm going to get back on it tomorrow.

RunningKatie · 02/03/2021 21:02

@StrawberryFizz26 - I'm going to batch cook chilli, bolognaise sauce and curry. The dc are fussy little
darlings so I cook for 4, then freeze half as they mostly refuse to do anything other than sample a teaspoon full Hmm
I think I have the Fast800 book, I shall have to look it out, you've done brilliantly @Onamissionn

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/03/2021 22:23

Well done to all you losers! I was back at 10/7 this morning, ffs.

I did over 10,000 steps yesterday, currently sitting (literally) on 8,000. I have deliver live online lectures to a timetable, so some days I don’t have much time to get out between classes, and it’s dark by the time I finish work. Hurry up, clocks changing, and better weather!

DisappearingHelen · 03/03/2021 06:55

Morning all. Wonderful to see that overall the group seems to have lost of weight in feb!

I fell off the wagon a little on Monday. Sigh. Yesterday I was back on it though. It’s getting easier to stay on the wagon overall despite the emotional eating the little voice inside me encourages bad eating!! Still having my first blip on the first day of the month wasn’t how it was meant to go down!!

Good luck as always to you all. Thanks for posting your ups and downs - it helps keep me going.

MischiefManager · 03/03/2021 07:25

Woohoo 1.4lb down today. I'm fluctuating quite a bit as expected but that's my lowest so far. 9lb lost in total so far.

Hope everyone manages a healthy day today Smile

RunningKatie · 03/03/2021 09:53

My scales are showing a loss so I am pleased.
I think I need to lose 7lbs to be what I weighed last March.
10lbs to make my wedding ring fit and then 18lbs to be the weight I was summer 2019. I was still overweight then but I am focussing on small wins to get to the big goal.

LBB2020 · 03/03/2021 14:40

I fell right off the wagon Monday and Tuesday (I did go for a walk both days but ate sooo badly!). Doing ok so far today, it’s the evenings that I struggle with so wish me luck for tonight!

ButterfliesnWaterfalls · 03/03/2021 20:38

I'm eating at 12 and then 4.30pm til 5.30pm.

I haven't lost anything but I will stick to it for a few more weeks to see if it's working.

I want to get into the 10 stone region this month!

MischiefManager · 04/03/2021 07:58

@RunningKatie I think small wins are the way to go.

I have maintained today so hoping for a little loss today.

LBB2020 · 04/03/2021 08:56

I managed to stay out of the kitchen cupboards last night!

MischiefManager · 04/03/2021 11:13

Well done @LBB2020
It's late afternoon, before dinner that is my weakness. I'm ok if I can keep myself busy, otherwise food falls into my hands!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/03/2021 11:22

I'm sitting back at 10/7 again. I wonder if this is the weight my body wants to be in lockdown? For years I maintained 10/3 pretty much - I would always go up to 10/7 after a holiday, then just drop straight back down. I was really ill last Christmas (2019) so dropped a bit then and sat at 10/1 for a wee while, but my body usually wants to be 10/3.

I didn't do my steps yesterday but did do an exercise DVD.

StrawberryFizz26 · 04/03/2021 18:23

Work has been so busy today and I'm sitting here contemplating whether to get a bottle of prosecco, but I know that will mean my food will be terrible tomorrow.

I've not been great this week, had pasta and bread last night....waaaah! It's so hard.

LBB2020 · 04/03/2021 18:30

For me it’s after the little ones go to bed that I can’t keep out of the cupboards!
Well done for doing an exercise video @Judystilldreamsofhorses I’m going to try to do one tonight if DC2 settles at a reasonable time.
@StrawberryFizz26 stay strong!

MischiefManager · 05/03/2021 07:23

Grr frustratingly +0.4lb this morning, I was pretty good yesterday too. Hopefully it will catch up with me for tomorrow!

DisappearingHelen · 05/03/2021 07:38

@LBB2020 hope you survived the kitchen cupboards. I have a similar issue so posted several stern posters up on some of the more tempting cupboard doors with reminders that I do actually want to lose weight and drawings of pretty dresses I want to old it back into. My oh thinks I’m insane and they don’t always work but every now and again they come in useful!!

@StrawberryFizz26 did you succumb to the Prosecco? It’s all so hard isn’t it? You seemed so on top of things at the beginning of the week! I do hope you’ve managed a few good days but don’t be hard on yourself if you had Prosecco weakness. Lockdown means it’s a miracle if we manage to do anything!

@Judystilldreamsofhorses that’s frustrating. The body can be stubborn about being a set weight so perhaps your set weight has moved a little. You can beat it back down again I’m sure but 10.7 doesn’t sound too terrible to me over here at 12.4!!! Good luck!

I’m mostly on plan this week. I’ve not been perfect and my exercise has dropped as I’ve got some hip pain/problems that means running is not really appropriate at the moment. I’m squeezing walks where I can, planning (but failing) to do video exercise as the opportunity comes up. Food is going okay but I’m really off my normal schedule this week so things are a little less angelic than feb was!! But I’m completing on my house today!!! I think I may just have to accept that between the house move and the insane busyness work is in March (anyone else affected by the gov FY end?) that I’m not going to be able to prioritise food and ex as much for a few weeks. So, I’ll keep doing my best! If I can get through the month without more than a couple of episodes of stress eating (I’ve already had one!) then actually the damage to the scales won’t be too bad so that’s my goal for March! No (or not much) stress eating or comfort binges! Fingers crossed...

DisappearingHelen · 05/03/2021 07:43

@MischiefManager your daily weigh ins are interesting! Hope you’re weathering the little ups okay. Have you tried logging them all in happy scale (apple app I think) or somewhere? If you log em everyday for a few weeks I bet the little ups and down would still create a lovely looking downwards trend line. Ignore me if you want of course - I love a good downwards trend line but I’m absolutely aware that not everyone needs to visualise data the way I like to!!!

MischiefManager · 05/03/2021 07:53

@DisappearingHelen I log it on my fitness pal and it does show a nice wiggly descending line. Daily weighing definitely helps for me. It keeps me motivated and I look forward to seeing what the scales say each morning. I'd be much more tempted with the naughty stuff if I knew I didn't need to weigh for another week or so.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 05/03/2021 08:17

Grr, 10/8 this morning here! @MischiefManager I log on MFP too, but I do wonder if I should go back to weekly weighing for the sake of my sanity.

@DisappearingHelen the weight the body wants to be is a weird one, isn't it? I know I can get it back down, if I am honest I am just cutting back on snacking - and not doing that brilliantly at that really!

I did my 10K steps yesterday so that's something at least.

LBB2020 · 05/03/2021 08:24

Well according to the sales I’m 10st3lbs this morning (-2lb), not sure I believe them!
I’ve been better the past couple of evenings not snacking and as usual I’ve been out for at least an hour walking with the DC every day (either pushing a double pushchair or with baby in the carrier and toddler in the single buggy). I really want to add in a couple of exercise videos but I really struggle to find the time.
Hope the house move goes smoothly @DisappearingHelen
How did you get on last night @StrawberryFizz26?

LBB2020 · 05/03/2021 08:29

Well done on getting your steps done yesterday @Judystilldreamsofhorses.
@MischiefManager I’m sure the small gain will be gone by tomorrow!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 05/03/2021 11:06

Well done @LBB2020! You are now at my goal weight and I need to take inspiration from you! I will definitely get my steps today because I am going to walk to the M&S foodhall which is HIGH excitement at the moment.

LBB2020 · 05/03/2021 13:48

I think the walking must do more good than I think! Enjoy your walk @Judystilldreamsofhorses Smile
