Anyone want to join me? It's 1st February tomorrow which seems a good day to start.

Three stone to lose here, I can't put it off any longer. I hate being overweight.

Nothing fits me and I am so miserable.

Well done @MischiefManager!
I’m not weighing today, going to wait until Sunday so I can see how I end the month. I can’t believe we’re at the end of February already!
Are we keeping this thread going or starting a March one?!

DisappearingHelen · 26/02/2021 17:15

Hey all. Are you still holding yourself together?

Even if you’ve had a bad food day I bet you’ve had a few good food days to help the scales down!

I’m still on plan. I’m excited/terrified to weigh in on Monday and see how I’ve done over feb but I hope the threat of the scales will keep me on track this weekend.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses I was thinking about how much I weighed this time last year too. I was almost at my lowest of 11st 7 (I know that’s not good - I’ve never been an actual healthy weight yet of 10stone but I was starting to get there!!) and had some lovely clothes. The lovely clothes are currently packed away but my fat clothes are deffo feeling a bit looser. Hopefully by the time we’re allowed to leave our houses I’ll be at least able to fit into some of the nice ones...?

Stay strong all. Those scales are just round the corner!!!! (Not to mention a summer full of picnics in shorts and T-shirt’s Confused)

MischiefManager · 27/02/2021 08:10

Gah! Chinese takeaway = +1lb this morning! Lots of gardening and walking planned today so hoping that offsets it a bit!

StrawberryFizz26 · 27/02/2021 09:01

mischiefmanager I weighed myself this morning, 11st 9&1/2. I'm having a burger takeaway tonight, with dessert and I know I'm not going to be that weight again in the morning!!

We're allowed a cheat day though. I'm going to savour mine!!

LBB2020 · 27/02/2021 11:57

Enjoy your takeaway @StrawberryFizz26!
I ate a little too much chocolate last night as DH bought some on his way home from work as a Friday treat! I’m worried to weigh myself tomorrow as I feel I might have put on this week Sad
I’ve just been out for a walk (cut short as the baby decided he didn’t want a walk and would scream his head off which in turn set the toddler off!). Planning on another walk this afternoon after lunch and once the children have both napped! It’s a beautiful day here, hope you’re all enjoying some sunshine this weekend x

LBB2020 · 27/02/2021 12:02

My plan for March is to up my exercise which has been nonexistent during February other than daily walks. I also need to limit chocolate/sweet treats to once or twice a week! (I use breastfeeding as an excuse to make myself feel better Blush)

RunningKatie · 27/02/2021 12:14

It is a beautiful day here. I am planning another lovely family walk this afternoon! Grin
I am hoping that the weather picking up will give me that boost of wanting to be healthy and active. Either that or I need to hire someone to sit on my shoulder and keep me on track.
Happy weekend all!

MischiefManager · 28/02/2021 08:19

@StrawberryFizz26 I hope you enjoyed your chest day...yum!

I am down 0.2lb this morning and enjoyed a piece of chocolate cake yesterday and some home made bread so I'm pleased with that. Planning to be pretty good today and lots of gardening and a long walk. The sun is definitely helping!

StrawberryFizz26 · 28/02/2021 09:42

mischiefmanager I really did! It was such a dirty burger and so delicious! I had a sore stomach last night though!!

Back on it today and won't cheat again until 2 weeks when I see dp at the weekend again.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 28/02/2021 11:57

Checking in for the last day of February - 10/6 here, so 2lb down in the month. I’ll take that. Another three off would get me to my fighting weight.

I vote we keep this thread going rather than start a new one, what do you all think?

DisappearingHelen · 28/02/2021 21:01

Hey all. Hope you’re all happy with your little losses or little treats! I’m overall happy with my february. Fell off the wagon a little yesterday but not too badly. I think being so close to the end of the month made me feel a little gung-ho and pushed me towards the butter and cheese!

I’ve been exercising less too this week as I’ve been busy with other stuff but I must try harder to squeeze it in - it helps keep me on track I think!

Back on it today. Scales tomorrow. Fingers crossed for it!

Hope you all feel like your february has brought you a little closer to your goal weight xxx

DisappearingHelen · 01/03/2021 07:02

1st March y’all!

I started 1feb, including my lockdown gain, at 13st1. Today I am 12st4.2.

10.8lbs lost!!!! I’m so pleased. I’ve never lost so much in one month so it must be that water weight/higher starting weight boost - I’m normally a much much slower loser so March will be much lower but I am so pleased either way. It puts me loads closer to getting into ‘overweight’ from ‘obese’.

My March goal is the same as my feb goal. Stick to the plan everyday. It won’t be easy as there’s upheaval this month but I’ll do my best.

Hope the scales and life is being good to you all.

LBB2020 · 01/03/2021 07:56

Well done on your amazing losses!
I’m annoyed with myself, I put on a lb last week! Finished Feb at 10st 5lb so only 3lb lost in the month. Must try harder in March! I’d like to be 10st by the end of the month so really going to try to keep on track!

StrawberryFizz26 · 01/03/2021 08:07

lbb2020 3lb is really good!! You've got to think that the slower you lose it the easier it is to keep off, it's more sustainable plus, I weighed in this morning and was 12.03/4. So I've lost about the same and I'm taking it as a win!!

disappearinghelen really well done! You've been so disciplined! I'm back on track today, only eating 12pm - 8pm and am going to try and stick to a keto way of eating.

No booze, no takeaways and I've ordered a new vape so from tomorrow, no cigs!

Spring is sprung here, I hope everyone has a successful March.

StrawberryFizz26 · 01/03/2021 08:08

judystilldreamsofhorses Well done!! And yes, I agree we should keep one going.

DisappearingHelen · 01/03/2021 08:12

@LBB2020 hope you’re not being too hard on yourself. Your current weight would be a dream weight for me (not that it’s much consolation!).

3lb in one month at your weight is amazing. Even if you do exactly the same thing in March you’ll be soooo close to the 10st by April!

DisappearingHelen · 01/03/2021 08:15

Well done for your loss too @StrawberryFizz26. Good luck with all the March discipline plans. They sound like super healthy things to do and I have nowhere enough discipline to stick to keto so well impressed with you getting on it.

LBB2020 · 01/03/2021 08:40

Thank you @StrawberryFizz26 and @DisappearingHelen Smile I think I’m more annoyed that I put on a lb last week! Never mind, a loss is a loss so I am happy!

LBB2020 · 01/03/2021 08:41

Also well done on your loss @StrawberryFizz26! Sounds like you have a good plan for March too!

RunningKatie · 01/03/2021 12:42

Well done on your losses!
I've finished Feb 1lb down, which is a lot less than I hoped for but I'm trying to stay optimistic and realistic.
Next week the DC are back in school and I'll have my day off back, I'm planning on going back to batch cooking and proper meal plans. DH and I are going to go through the freezers too, he claims we have no food in them. I suspect that just means nothing he fancies!

MischiefManager · 02/03/2021 07:23

Well done everyone on your losses and for staying motivated for a whole month. I ended the month with a 7lb loss. This month I definitely need to sort out my water consumption. I know I snack less when I drink more. I also need to up the exercise.

I've maintained for the last two days so need to do something different today!

StrawberryFizz26 · 02/03/2021 07:31

11.12 & 3/4 here this morning.
I didn't stay on plan yesterday, left over mac & cheese and chocolate!

Back to it today! runningkatie well done. I know what your DH means, I never fancy what I've got in!! What are you batch cooking?

Onamissionn · 02/03/2021 07:56

Well done everyone on your losses!
I finished Feb 13lbs down, From 11 .7 to 10.8. Happy with that and hoping to stay on plan in March, should be easier all round when school reopens on Monday!

Teaplease29 · 02/03/2021 14:22

@Onamissionn that's so good!! Well done. And even for the little losses, at least we are here and trying!
I've lost 3lb... which I'll take. I'm pretty close to my goal now so these lb are harder! Plus still breastfeeding so need to eat for energy!

StrawberryFizz26 · 02/03/2021 14:41

onanissionn that's ace! How did you do it?
