Here's our new thread.. 9st0.75 this morning, had some pub tapas last night and a couple of pints, was truly delicious. Will be having a couple of days when I'm away, going to my Sister's for a couple of days either today or tomorrow. I'm sure nobody can guess what my aim is for this month lol

Right! After eating out twice last week I've managed to claw a loss of 0.25lbs Grin disappointed not to see 13,X, especially as my scales did keep flicking back and forth between 13 and 14. Tease!

B bacon and eggs
L soup probably, nothing too crunchy on my teeth!
D fish, sweet potato, peas

MonsteraCheeseplant · 17/08/2020 08:41

Morning all. I haven't weighed myself this morning as i'm more weekly anyway but also had guests over yesterday. It's so tough trying to balance everything. I think/hope I made it work by having a bit less in the week to allow for a more relaxed weekend. It feels uncertain but this thing always does to be fair. Have a good day all.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 17/08/2020 08:43

Eating out AND losing anything is good going @HoneysuckIejasmine

HoneysuckIejasmine · 17/08/2020 09:09

Hmm, I picked the lowest cal things rather than what I wanted HmmGrin would rather have had a dinner I actually wanted, ha ha! But yes, I'm pleased it wasn't a gain at least!

Heygirlheyboy · 17/08/2020 09:18

Morning all. Didn't reach my step target, went over slightly to 1500 cals...... 0.75 lbs down. I'll take it!
B: overnight oats, I'm not hungry but I'll eat or I'll get over hungry and over do it.
L: eggs and salad
D: roast chicken, potatoes and veg.

Lalanbaba · 17/08/2020 09:58

Morning everyone!
68 kg that's half a kilo since last week, which is the loss that I am going for. Still on my period so might be different in a few days.
B: 2 soft boiled eggs on toast. Tea
L: lentil salad
D: grilled chicken, roast veggies and homemade rosemary focaccia

Octopus37 · 17/08/2020 13:46

Surprise period today and surprise surprise, i'm obsessing about sugar. Absent mindedly googling the most calorie dense brownie recipes i can find Grin God what a nightmare.

Saraban · 17/08/2020 16:24

I wanted to post here because I have no-one to share this with in real life (haven’t told anyone I’m trying to lose weight; I’d rather just keep it for me until people start to notice, in an effort to make it less pressured.)

Today is my weigh in day, and I’ve lost 9lbs since I started (trying out WW) just over three weeks ago! I’m delighted. To be honest I can’t see a difference yet, but it’s a great confidence boost. I now also have a ‘normal’ BMI, which was a really big motivator for me. Some moments I think 9lbs isn’t a great deal, and others I remember it’s a pretty hefty newborn...

Bring on this week!

Octopus37 · 17/08/2020 17:35

Nine pounds is fantastic, especially in three weeks. Well done

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 17/08/2020 20:58

Nine pounds is amazing @Saraban! Well done 😄
I'm hungry even though I've had plenty today
B. Porridge berries almonds coffee
L. Fish finger sandwich
D. 2 sausages, 2 potato waffles, beans, mushrooms
S. 2 apples, 2 dark chocolate squares
1550 calories
11000 steps.

Hangoverstruggles · 17/08/2020 21:09

Wow @Saraban great loss! Well done. What you're doing is obviously working well for you. Congratulations

@Octopus37 glad to hear tests all clear

I was absolutely ravenous yesterday. Ragey hungry. I did a tough 60 min work out early morning so assumed it was that but my period arrived 4 days early last night so think that explains it. I was 5 days late last month so no idea what is going on there!

B oats, with added protein powder and berries, coffee
L jacket potato, beans and salad, small Kit Kat
D turkey steak, broccoli, peas. Yogurt and berries
S grapes, teas

The work out instructor has recommend highly protein so trying it.

Octopus37 · 18/08/2020 07:57

9st1.5 this morning despite a reasonable day. Think its cause I didn't get enough exercise/drink enough water.

Heygirlheyboy · 18/08/2020 08:13

I'm the same octopus, feel completely dehydrated and didn't get the steps in, have a course to do this week plus meetings so will be tricky getting the activity it. Up 0.25 but not sweating that slight gain.
B: weetabix and milk
L: eggs and salad
D: roast chicken left overs
S: fruit

HoneysuckIejasmine · 18/08/2020 08:34

Morning.

B bacon and eggs
L salad, soup
D Kung po chicken, rice and courgette

I'm taking DS for a haircut this morning so hopefully he'll be able to see easier Grin

TheHoneyBadger · 18/08/2020 12:17

I walked about 6.5 miles yesterday but stopped at a couple of pubs along the way so probably undid any good it would have done with beer.

Got home and tripped over a dog toy and my ankle is really painful today and I can just about hobble so my steps will be virtually non existent.

With much moaning ds has brought me a cup of coffee and taken the dog out for a wee but I think that’s the limit of his Florence nightingale routine Wink

Currently lying on my bed with ankle elevated. Cals should be low today as I can’t get to the kitchen Grin

Heygirlheyboy · 18/08/2020 13:01

Oh no TheHoneyBadger!! Hope you have a good book!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 18/08/2020 15:07

Oh no, that's not what you want! Hope it recovers quickly.

SistemaAddict · 18/08/2020 21:10

According to MFP I'm on target to hit my goal in about 4 weeks. Walking a few miles really affects the targets you can achieve according to the app so I hope it's accurate. I was tired today but we went for a walk after dinner and have just got back. Dc should be nicely tired and go to bed easily. Fingers crossed. I've done just over 5 miles in total today which is a normal non-Covid exercise day for me with the school run so I feel confident in my ability to maintain my goal once I reach it.

Lalanbaba · 18/08/2020 21:16

@TheHoneyBadger hope you are feeling better.
Today has been OK. Still a few calories left so might have a bit of ice cream
B: ham and cheese toastie and tea in Costa
L : big salad with cheese and prosciutto
D: small portion of paella

TheHoneyBadger · 18/08/2020 21:17

Thank you. I’ve kept it elevated and alternated between hot and cold compresses. Feels a lot better than this though some of that will be painkillers.

Less than a thousand steps but I have fully fasted.

Well done on walking despite being tired bercows.

TheHoneyBadger · 18/08/2020 21:18

Should have said better than this morning.

SistemaAddict · 18/08/2020 21:30

Sorry to hear about your ankle and hope it's better soon Thanks

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 19/08/2020 03:34

Feel like I’ve eaten a lot today but going to at least keep it within my 8 hour window!

Octopus37 · 19/08/2020 08:15

HoneyBadger hope your ankle feel better soon. Is anyone else starting to feel as if its Autumn. 9st1.75 today, tbh (what's new), got a lot going on but I'm going to try and do better today.
