Here's our new thread.. 9st0.75 this morning, had some pub tapas last night and a couple of pints, was truly delicious. Will be having a couple of days when I'm away, going to my Sister's for a couple of days either today or tomorrow. I'm sure nobody can guess what my aim is for this month lol

Hello everyone,
Today can't seem to get filled up after food. So keep thinking about the next meal and making cups of tea to fill the void.
B: crumpets, soya Greek yoghurt. Million teas
L: ham and cheese omelette. Homemade slaw (no mayo but vinegar based)
D: ginger chicken with noodles and green beans

TheHoneyBadger · 14/08/2020 16:15

More fibre lala?

I’m calorie free so far today. Think fish rice and veg for dinner and apricots with yoghurt and honey for dessert if I need it.

There were some individual lemon cheesecakes in the fridge but ds appears to have generously saved me from them.

TheHoneyBadger · 14/08/2020 16:25

In a guesstimate I’d say most of my days are a long fasting window then between 1000-1500cals. Some days more especially when drinking and hanging out with bubble friend. Plus a very occasional total fast. No formal exercise other than being more active and walks.

Seems to be working without making me feel deprived. Activity level will go up come September back at school three days a week and that activity will be fasted so fat fuelled.

Think unless I get stuck I’ll just keep going as I am and review at the end of September

Lalanbaba · 14/08/2020 21:58

@TheHoneyBadger I think was part the breakfast (didn't want to waste the crumpets) which wasn't very filling, part that I should have my period very soon and want sugar and chocolate.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 14/08/2020 23:37

Hey hey, dinner last night was amazing, but probably 1900 calories. I've had around 1500 calories every other day but haven't managed to walk every night due to weather/restaurant meal out.

Have a good day tomorrow all

everycowandagain · 14/08/2020 23:54

Just checking in. Have just got back (in the nick of time) after almost 2 weeks of cheese and ice cream and ALL THE WINE. I weigh appropriately eleventy million pounds and it was totally worth it.

Weigh training and vegetable eating will resume in the coming days.

Hope everyone is doing OK.

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 15/08/2020 07:18

Much the same here @everycowandagain

Just back from a week in a campervan that started so well but by the end I was surviving on sugar and carbs - will WI tomorrow to shock me back into motivation mode

Heygirlheyboy · 15/08/2020 08:57

Same as yesterday on scales for me which is A. OK. Off for my walk or run after breakfast, I used to prefer running fasted but can't do it now. ONO for breakfast and will wait an hour or so then. Glad I'm not tú the only one that went off piste for a few holiday days! One thing need to improve again is water intake as it is so humid.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 15/08/2020 09:06

Feeling a bit swollen this morning - ran last night and I've got a potential cyst on my gum so I'm on antibiotics. Will go for a walk later on I think.

B bacon sandwich
L salad
D vegetable stir fry

Trying to attain a "maintain" for this week after the hot weather and eating out.

TheHoneyBadger · 15/08/2020 09:41

Long fasting window, did my steps and only had one meal and no alcohol yesterday so I shall try not to take it personally that I’m up 2.2lbs today Confused

Glad I’ve come to terms with my crazy fluctuations for the most part. If it was a weekly weigh in and I saw that it would be so easy to give up it get back into the ‘I can’t lose weight’ mindset.

I don’t think it would be fluid retention as I have af and that usually sees my weight drop. Will just keep keeping on.

Lalanbaba · 15/08/2020 09:47

Morning everyone! Rain on and off today here so will be an indoor day entertaining the crazy tiny climber I have. Also all the comfort food.
B: weetabix with milk. Pear. Tea
L: homemade pizza (small one) prosciutto and salad
D: bangers and mash (mine veggie) peas and gravy

Heygirlheyboy · 15/08/2020 12:00

I should also add, I squeezed into my waist 28 jeans for the first time in over a year yesterday and two people I hadn't seen in months said I looked great Smile Delighted. Enjoy your Saturdays and we'll done all of us.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 15/08/2020 12:28

Yay! Well done @Heygirlheyboy how satisfying.

Octopus37 · 15/08/2020 14:50

Wow Heygirl thats amazing. Hope those of you who have been on holidays (apologies lost track) have had good times. Weighed 9st this morning, have had a good couple of days.

Brilliant octopus and thanks both Smile

TheHoneyBadger · 15/08/2020 16:07

Massive walk getting thoroughly soaked on the second half. Even my bra was drenched but it was actually lovely in contrast to humid sweatiness.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 15/08/2020 16:59

Dry walk for me, then gardening. Feeling a bit stiff - this last hot week has ruined me I feel, hope I don't get an autoimmune flare.

I have a gum abscess too so that's fun.

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 15/08/2020 17:42

Well done @Heygirlheyboy such a great NSV!

I’m at 142.5lbs this am apparently. So in theory have lost 3.5lbs since my “argh sort it out” moment but up 1lbs since going camping. My first aim is to get to 140lbs then to 136lbs then find my happy place based on my clothes fitting

Heygirlheyboy · 15/08/2020 17:45

Thank you! What is NSV?

Hangoverstruggles · 15/08/2020 18:49

Hi all,

Just had a brief catch up with all your news - looks like everyone is doing really well!

I've been enjoying my time off work but really pleased to say it hasn't revolved around eating and drinking like it might have done previously. We thought about getting a Chinese tonight as it seemed appropriate for last weekend of annual leave but in the end didn't as seemed a waste of a binge night if we weren't mega up for it. This is a massive change for us!!

I'm maintaining 10st and have kept up my exercise classes a bit, and generally been active with the kids over the last couple of weeks.

Feels so good to have stayed in control!

Well done @Octopus37 for 9st. 8 something is definitely within reach 😊

MonsteraCheeseplant · 15/08/2020 19:30

NSV= Non Scales Victory

Ooh @HoneysuckIejasmine that sounds painful

@hangoverstruggles, well done!

TheHoneyBadger · 15/08/2020 21:13

Well done everyone.

I did a 3 mile round trip through fields and woods to pick up a lovely 70’s lamp someone was giving away. Sweaty from humidity on the way there and happily dripping with rain on the way back. Interesting weather at the minute. Not sure I’d have dragged myself out in the humidity without a lovely retro lamp as bait.

Done ok on food and kept moving so hopefully won’t have put 2lbs on overnight again!

Heygirlheyboy · 16/08/2020 09:12

Love to see the lamp Honeybadger!

I'm 0.25lb down so feeling good. Really want to get to 9st 3 by end August. Enjoying the Allen Carr book. Off for my walk in the next hour.

Octopus37 · 16/08/2020 09:14

That lamp sounds amazing Honey. Typically not such a good day yesterday, DH not well so had to go and get covid tests, dont think its very likely but he's a front line worker. Also got tested myself, even though I know again its not likely (have no symptoms, hope not wasting resources). Get the results today or tomorrow. 9st0.75 today.
