Here's our new thread.. 9st0.75 this morning, had some pub tapas last night and a couple of pints, was truly delicious. Will be having a couple of days when I'm away, going to my Sister's for a couple of days either today or tomorrow. I'm sure nobody can guess what my aim is for this month lol

Hello everyone!
Today I will attempt meal planning for the week, wish me luck. I have to use few bits from the freezer, plan the pack lunches for the toddler and dinners that can be easily adapt to diet. Ha!
B: fat free Greek yoghurt and banana with a bit of chocolate chips
L: spicy hummus wrap with veggies (eating on the go today)
D: pasta with chorizo and broccoli
S: I will try to make air popped popcorn for tonight telly chill out.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 11/08/2020 10:53

Ooh pasta with chorizo and broccoli sounds gorgeous

I'll report back, never tried it but seen it in the BBC food website. I really am trying to make food appetising, if I put bland food and low cal I will last a minute and a half on a diet
TheHoneyBadger · 11/08/2020 15:02

I had Caesar salad with salmon and left the bread. Not sure that compensates for 3 pints of peroni but hey ho. Was nice to get out.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 11/08/2020 18:58

Went out for lunch with in laws today. Ate ok at lunch but have had all the food since getting home. 30°C heat and small talk is too much.

SistemaAddict · 11/08/2020 19:17

I wasn't paying attention and accidentally ate 100 of my exercise calories Blush my day has consisted of yogurt, muesli, toast, apple, melon, and rice cakes.

SistemaAddict · 11/08/2020 22:08

I am craving pizza badly tonight. I almost ordered one but held out. I'll make one for dinner tomorrow instead. Or maybe lunch. But I really want one now! Right now! I'm too tired to eat really but I still want one.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 11/08/2020 22:14

We're having greek yoghurt pizza tomorrow too @Bercows, I have a line in the sand about eating after brushing my teeth so no danger of snacking or impromptu pizza making.

So i'm coming in at around 1500 a day, but i must confess that I make room for too many sweet things.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 12/08/2020 00:41

Afternoon tea was bloody delicious. I had the equivalent of one round of ham sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream, left the bara brith, gave my brownie and strawberries to the kids and ate a carrot cake, a mini meringue and a mini eclair. All mini portions and a small scone, thankfully. It was lunch and dinner.

Prior to that, more exercise in the form of painting and decorating inc hanging some wallpaper.

I was 14.01 this morning on my scales. I think that's a paltry 1lb loss from last week, but as long as it keeps creeping down I'm happy with that. My main (first) goal is not going back to work/school in Sept with 14 showing on the scales.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 12/08/2020 08:01

Morning morning, I am happy to report that I have weighed in at my best maintenance number. My sleep was disturbed by the heat last night, had to get up at 2am to find a fan. Aside from that, have a great day everyone! I'm definitely making room for a mars ice cream today.

Hangoverstruggles · 12/08/2020 08:29

Morning all, not been posting much as on our 'at home holidays'.

Weight 10st this morning so pleased to be maintaining. I have definitely been eating more... enjoying ice creams when out & about and we had a McDonald's on our way home last night for tea.

I'm really hoping I've found a good way of balancing my eating.

I'm embarking on a 12 week exercise programme from this Sunday so interested to see if that changes my body. Not looking to lose more lbs as such but want to get stronger and tone.

Glad to hear you're all doing well. This heat is a bit much for me!

Octopus37 · 12/08/2020 08:32

Not doing too well here, 9st2 this morning, yet again loads going on and in the wrong frame of mind, not sure when this will change. Had enough of this heat to be honest, the least it could do is reduce my appetite and give me a tan but it does neither lol.

Morning all,
Rough night here, poor toddler couldn't sleep despite fan in her bedroom and just in nappy. Bless still went to nursery with a smile.
B: scrambled eggs on toast (with real butter! I need the fat and the carbs and the caffeine this morning) coffee
L: chickpea salad cooling down in the fridge as I speak
D: can't face the hob so I dug or the slow cooker and chuck some pork shoulder with spices. Tonight just pull it and serve with bits to make tacos. I'll have mine in lettuce cups

SistemaAddict · 12/08/2020 09:44

@Octopus37 that's not much at all, what's your goal weight?

SistemaAddict · 12/08/2020 10:37

I'm making pizza dough and marinara sauce for lunchtime pizza 😁

Heygirlheyboy · 12/08/2020 10:49

Five days not tracking but not binging... 4.5lbs up.. Seriously! Period during that also. Back on the simple goals today :2.5l water, nó junk, get my walk in later. Sea swimming today and will bring healthy picnic. Have a good day all.

Ouch! Still, it won't be fat.
Octopus37 · 12/08/2020 15:11

Bercows, have been maintaining between 9 and 9st2 since March. Aiming to get under 9st and have been doing so since March. Not a lot of weight, but feel a bit down and negative generally and cannot seem to get it together to eat healthily at the moment. Will get back on track at some stage.

I’m up but only about half a pound after drinking beer and eating full fat ice cream last night Blush

Still no AF and crazy hot 🥵 Plan to fast all day and drink tons of water

TheHoneyBadger · 12/08/2020 15:23

Your maintenance is great octopus especially with all you’ve had going on don’t knock yourself!

Octopus37 · 12/08/2020 18:23

Thanks for saying that HoneyBadger, think I'm my own worst enemy at the moment. Would just like a patch with less going on. Know its the same for lots of people though. Hope everyone has survived the heat well today

HoneysuckIejasmine · 12/08/2020 20:01

Checking in quickly. So hot I'm not going near scales - the water retention and swelling is insane.

B scrambled egg
L strawberries, apple, toast and marmalade
D sausage casserole with broccoli and cous cous

Could have done without the cous cous tbf but it was nice.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 12/08/2020 20:03

It's properly stormy here so it looks like our nightly walk is out. My calorie count is 1497 and i'm done for the day, should go brush my teeth soon to seal the deal lol. We both forgot that it is our wedding anniversary tomorrow and we've booked a meal at Miller and Carter tomorrow so that's something very exciting to look forward to.

TheHoneyBadger · 12/08/2020 20:08

Happy anniversary!

Still fasting here. We haven’t had the storm. The sky darkened and there were about 10 drops of rain and that was it. Still boiling

Heygirlheyboy · 12/08/2020 21:23

Warm here but not stifling. Enjoyed two lovely swims today but too tired for walk so will go early in AM and get back on it.
B: 1 buttermilk pancake, natural yoghurt, berries, coffee
L: homemade soda bread, chicken and salad
D: chicken burrito in a bowl
S: Strawberries and kiwi, all chopped up, these go lovely together. Just 1000 cals but with only 7.5k steps I'll leave it at that.
