@JamRolyPolyAnyone

I got this from amazon, you just sprinkle it on salads etc or mix it in to whatever you are eating, it doesn't taste of anything and I didn't need much

Linwoods Organic Milled Organic Flaxseed, Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds, 425g https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002E2OO5E/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_mYajFbS2YV831

@YeetYeet. That’s very helpful. Thank you x

WobbleWhenIRun · 31/07/2020 13:31

I am not sure I am doing the Implementation Intention right.

When I am thin, I will eat fudge...

I've totally connected the 'when' and the 'then' Grin

Well done everyone!!

RaisinGhost · 31/07/2020 14:43

I'm a little late but just saw this thread on active, can I please join? I need to lose about 2 stone. My goal weight is 73kg. That is still a bmi of 25 so still overweight really but it's the slimmest I can imagine being.

I've lost and gained my whole life. I got down to 75kg before my last pregnancy. During the pregnancy I tried to be careful and put on around 12 kg, which I was happy with. Since then I haven't been careful at all, been eating everything in sight actually Blush. I'm about the same now as when I gave birth six months ago.

I want to do the fast 800 diet which I've had some luck with in the past. I'm so sick of thinking about it. I seem to spend 8pm - 11am feeling bad and vowing to diet tomorrow, then 11am-8pm eating everything!

YeetYeet · 31/07/2020 15:06

Welcome Raisin 👋

I'm off the wagon today as it's DD's birthday so hoping to just minimise any gain for when I weigh on Monday. The real test will be getting back into it tomorrow 🤞

That's a skill I definitely need to learn as I can't realistically never have cake again (and wouldn't want to 😋) so it's all about making sure it's not a trigger for several days/weeks of overeating.

Snowdrop30 · 31/07/2020 16:13

@SansaClegane Well, I did feel a bit sad/fed up this arvo, noticed I felt like comfort eating, and immediately went to chop up some strawberries. So it does seem to be working! Don't know what I will do in the winter though, apples much less appealing. And fudge, much more so @WobbleWhenIRun!

Snowdrop30 · 31/07/2020 16:16

And hi @RaisinGhost!

RaisinGhost · 01/08/2020 01:35

Hi everyone. Seems like everyone's going really well so far. YeetYeet I know what you mean, the hardest part is restarting and not just thinking meh I'll take the whole week off.

monkeytennis97 · 01/08/2020 07:31

Hello all! Back on it today (had a few days 'off' although tried to be good but went to see PIL for the first time since March)- put on 1lb in 3 days grrr even though I really limited what I would normally have and went for a few walks.. oh well, back on it again!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️😊

WobbleWhenIRun · 01/08/2020 10:37

1.1 lbs down this morning.
21.2 lbs total
80.6 lbs to go... Grin

Blackbear19 · 01/08/2020 10:47

My weight has stayed the same the last two days.Sad I'm kind of hoping that it's just the my current scales don't show fractions of pounds.

New scales arriving today. I'm thinking I have to compare what both scales say before I switch over completely, just incase they are calibrated differently.

WobbleWhenIRun · 01/08/2020 10:52

Stick at it @Blackbear19 - the weight does not come off every day but will sometime appear to stall and then - whoosh - it comes off and you catch up. A couple of weeks back I spent 10 days at exactly the same weight then suddenly lost about 1lb a day for five days and was 5lbs lighter. It all balances out.

Besides, my scales also do body fat % and I notice when I don't lose lbs in weight, I often drop % of body fat - suggesting a little rise in muscle is balancing out the drop in fat. Which is good news Grin

Blackbear19 · 01/08/2020 10:56

Thanks Wobble I do need to stick at it but good to know weight can do that. My new scales will do body fat. I can't believe how excited I am about a set of scales.Grin

Savoury · 01/08/2020 11:23

Hello all, I've been pretty good but had wine and chocolates last night! Back on the wagon and will be one hour short of the 16 hour fast today.

The main thing for me is to make sure to hop on the wagon again. It's fine to take a day off but that doesn't mean defeat. Straight back on asap is for the best.

YeetYeet · 01/08/2020 11:44

@Blackbear19
I am the same about a new hoover which arrived today. Just had a row with DH about who gets to "have a go on it" first. We have agreed to do the stairs together Smile

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 01/08/2020 11:55

I have new running trainers! Did not enjoy walking in the heat to the shop though. On the plus side I'm at 11000 steps and bought myself something nice to eat for dinner from M&S.

Blackbear19 · 01/08/2020 12:21

Yeetyeet that made me smile getting excited over a hoover and sharing the stairs😁

Blackbear19 · 01/08/2020 12:22

That was meant to be a smiley face.Smile

SansaClegane · 01/08/2020 13:11

@Snowdrop30 are you Aus/NZ?
Good to hear it's working for you - maybe swap over to apples now, then you're used to it by winter Wink have to say I love apples, they're my go-to food. And almonds, but I really have to watch/limit the intake as they're so calorific!

Snowdrop30 · 01/08/2020 14:03

@SansaClegane have family in NZ! And I find apples ok, but not a 'treat' the way fresh strawberries (or grilled peaches) are. Maybe frozen berries would do the trick in winter?

MushMonster · 01/08/2020 21:29

@housemdwaswrong the break was nasty indeed!

MushMonster · 01/08/2020 21:33

@FatCatThinCat I am sure the machine is really good, but you are the one losing the weight! So the credit is yours indeed! I hope you get plenty of good sleep. They do say that lack of sleep affects badly the appetite and it makes us put weight on, and I think it is quite true. I tend to eat more when sleep deprived and less when actually tired due to physical activity

MushMonster · 01/08/2020 21:47

I will weight tomorrow morning!

housemdwaswrong · 01/08/2020 22:00

Good luck @MushMonster!

Love that everyone is doing well, and this thread is so supportive. :)

I'm also in awe at all the people on here doing couch to 5/25k. That's seriously impressive!

@Blackbear19 how's the new scale?

Sforsh49 · 01/08/2020 22:08

My first week on my plan weigh in tomorrow. I know I've lost through my clothes from last weekend, but I want it to be a good one to keep me motivated!!
