Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

I've put on half a kilo... Obviously relaxed a bit too much Sad. And next weekend I'm going away for a few days with friends so wasn't planning on doing too much calorie-counting. I'll make a big effort this week anyway. Good luck everyone!

Trandafire · 13/07/2020 06:31

I went for a pee then re-weighed. According to the new readive I've only put on 200g. I'm taking that as this week's result 😂

Trandafire · 13/07/2020 06:32

Reading not readive Hmm

wizzler · 13/07/2020 07:05

Stayed the same this week. I think I've relaxed a bit too much. Onwards and downwards!

Pippinlily · 13/07/2020 09:12

Keep going folks. It’s so easy to put back on but you can bring it back.
& relaxing for the odd event/week is necessary to enjoy life I think.

Onwards & downwards.

I’m pleased to have lost another 1lb. & managed a PR running time this morning (still slow but feels good to see improvement).
25/5 12st 7lb
1/6 12st 4lb
8/6 12st 2lb
15/6 12st 0lb
22/6 12st 0lb
29/6 12st 0lb
6/7 11st 13lb
13/7 11st 12lb

MillieMoodle · 14/07/2020 18:13

Still 12st 2lbs here but I'm noticing I seem to be more bloated around ovulation (sorry if tmi) and then it settles down. I've also been so hungry today and have definitely eaten too much bread 😬

Lettera · 18/07/2020 11:45

Greetings all.

I'm 5'6" and 15 st - the heaviest I have ever been apart from pregnancy.

I'm very frightened about the effect on my health as I'm 61 soon.

I've had disordered eating since puberty so it need to work with that. Planning to eat less, eat healthily and move more - even if it's just walking up and down my (small) kitchen 50 times while waiting for my tea to brew!

wizzler · 18/07/2020 15:37

Welcome *@Lettera. *

If it helps I am 55 and have been losing 1lb a week ish since mid may. Best thing I did was buy a cheap fitness tracker and made myself walk 7500 steps a day.

Also lots of motivation on Mumsnet!

Lettera · 18/07/2020 19:22

Hi Wizzler (love the name!)

Thanks for the welcome.

1 lb a week is a good, steady loss. Well done! Flowers

I'm counting calories (in a fairly relaxed way) and trying to keep to between 1,200 and 1,500 per day. Ideally I'd like to walk for at least 20 minutes a day but I'm in that awful place where I feel too fat to go for a walk! Have arranged a walk tomorrow though and I'm going to aim for 10 minutes per day each day next week. Then I hope to build it up...

wizzler · 20/07/2020 07:14

It's weigh in day today and I've lost another 1lb so that's 11 in total

How about everyone else?

Pippinlily · 20/07/2020 08:04

Welcome Lettera 👋.

Another stay the same week here. It’s totm & I’ve really struggled this week. Gave in to cravings a fair bit & not so good on the exercise.

Still 11st 12lb.

Starting weight 25/5: 12st 7lb.
Next aim is to get 11st 7lb.
Overall target 10st 6lb (top of normal bmi for me)

Lettera · 20/07/2020 09:56

Well done on losing another 1lb wizzler!

Congratulations Pippinlily on losing 9 lbs!

For the past two days I've had under 1,500 calories and I've eaten well.

Onwards and downwards!

wizzler · 20/07/2020 10:17

Stay positive Pippin. you didn't gain and you are under 12 st ...

Trandafire · 20/07/2020 21:24

Hi everyone, congratulations on the losses. No weigh-in for me this morning as I'm away on holiday for a few days. Eating all sorts and drinking lots of beer but also doing long hikes with a toddler on my back so hoping that will have used up some of the beer calories. Will see the results in a few days when I get home. Onwards and downwards!

Lettera · 21/07/2020 10:43

I've had under 1,500 cals per day for the last three days! Very pleased.

Plus a 30-minute walk yesterday (I've been either in bed or on the sofa since March).

Hope everyone is doing OK!

Trandafire · 27/07/2020 06:25

Morning! Stayed more or less the same at 67kg. Pretty happy with that after holidays. Good luck to Monday weighers!

wizzler · 27/07/2020 07:15

@Trabdafire to sts after a holiday is some achievement.
I lost 2 lbs at this mornings weigh in... 13 lbs now.
Am now at that stage where my fat clothes are to big but my thin clothes are too tight!

Good luck to everyone weighing in today...keep going everyone

Lettera · 27/07/2020 13:16

Hello again! Last week started well then went to sh*t... but I'm not giving up!

wizzler - you've nearly lost a stone! That's excellent, well done!

Trandafire - not gaining weight on holiday is a real achievement! Well done!

Pippinlily · 27/07/2020 15:09

Just checking in to say hi. Well done @Trandafire and @wizzler

Get back to it @Lettera ! (this is supposed to be an encouraging cheer)

I’m also holidaying, & without scales so not weighing in today. If I manage to have sts next week I’ll be delighted!

Trandafire · 27/07/2020 20:31

Well done @wizzler. I'm also in between sizes now. Size 12 jeans gaping at the waist but still pretty snug on the hips and thighs so I don't know if I'd fit a 10. Got a couple of size 10 dresses I can wear now though. Speaking of clothes, there's an advert on the TV here at the moment for one of those brands of weight loss tablets and the woman says 'I've lost 8kg and gone down 2 dress sizes'. And I get irrationally annoyed by it Grin because I'm approaching 12kg and not quite 1 size down. I know the advert is marketing bollocks... Anyway, hi @pippinlily and @lettera and hope everyone has a good week.

Trandafire · 03/08/2020 06:46

Morning! Down 2kg this week. Surprisingly as I've relaxed a bit. BMI is now 26.4 so within touching distance of healthy. It was 32 when we started. Good luck everyone!

wizzler · 03/08/2020 13:30

Well done @Trandafire. We are away for the week. I'm hoping all the walking in beaches will outweigh the fish and chips!. Fingers crossed for next Monday!

Trandafire · 04/08/2020 06:53

Enjoy the holiday @wizzler!

wizzler · 04/08/2020 08:05

We are in Northumberland. It's beautiful but not warm enough to sit on a beach so we are walking milesSmile

wizzler · 10/08/2020 07:11

Weigh in today after a week away... 11st 13.. so have lost over a stone and pleased to see a number that doesn't start with 12!
