Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

We’d be a lot happier that should have said! 🤦🏻‍♀️

UnicornAndSparkles · 13/06/2020 11:20

Hi ladies.

Dont beat yourself up about the gains; i agree it is SO easy to gain weight Sad

I've tried and failed to stick to 8/16, so am roughly doing 9/15. Haven't touched the biscuit tin this week which is a win in itself as I'd normally have finished a packet of choc digestives by day 5. Also trying to make conscious food decisions; not eating a whole frozen pizza on a friday night, but having half and some corn on the cob. Not having another glass of wine. Not shoving chocolate in my mouth and not even tasting it and then going back for more. No crisps. No ice cream. It's hard as I haven't been consciously eating for almost 4 years. Also logging everything into MFP and trying to stick to 1450 a day. I'm embarrassed to say I was probably consuming double that before, with ease.

But, small changes can make a difference; I weighed in this morning and I'm 1lb down from my start weight on tuesday!

UnicornAndSparkles · 13/06/2020 11:24

Those doing measurement, how are you measuring? Actual waist or stomach I.e. around the belly button? I'm going to try too.

wizzler · 13/06/2020 12:05

I don't seem to have lost anything so far this week but clothes are definitely fitting better. Am going to try to do more walking this afternoon.. at least it keeps me away from the biscuit cupboard

DollyPartons · 13/06/2020 13:59

I'm doing around the belly button @UnicornAndSparkles.
@justanotherneighinparadise, I got to the ripe old ages of 47 before I realised that at 5'9, I'm never going to weigh under ten stone. I can remember other females gasping at any weight over ten stone. They hadn't developed in hindsight, had not fully grown in height. My own mother used to use the term big that made me feel was wrong, like the opposite of petite, very slim, all of which she wanted for herself. She did keep to extremely low calorie all her adult life, I've got to this age, couldn't give much of a shite ( took me long enough) of what others think. I just want to feel good, fit and very comfortable.

MillieMoodle · 14/06/2020 16:46

@Straysocks keep going, you can do it!

I've been weighing myself every day this week and so far have lost 0.2lbs. A bit disappointing but I haven't been doing MFP and I think I need to. I have been going for a walk every day which is more than I usually do. I've also been trying to drink more water. Hoping for a bigger loss next week, although official weigh in day is tomorrow so fingers crossed I'll lose a couple of pounds overnight Grin

MillieMoodle · 14/06/2020 16:49

Oh, also yesterday (and today!) I managed to get into a pair of jeans that are size 14, which I bought in February and haven't been able to do up before, let alone actually wear for a whole evening! Still got another pair of size 14 jeans that I can't quite do up, so my next goal is to be able to wear them too!

Straysocks · 14/06/2020 19:06

Oh well done @MillieMoodle

Bit suspicious that last post 🤨

wizzler · 14/06/2020 22:25

Well done Millie

I fear disappointment on the scales tomorrow but never mind.. need to concentrate on the positives. Good luck everyone

Trandafire · 15/06/2020 05:40

I'm 0.4kg down today. A lot less than I've been used to over the past few weeks but a loss is a loss. Had quite a few beers on Friday night so am probably lucky not to have gained! It's annoying because I was hoping to be under 70kg today and into the '60s'. Good luck to the rest of the Monday weighers!

wizzler · 15/06/2020 07:24

As suspected put on a few oz. will keep persevering.
Trand we both need to concentrate on our losses since we started. You've done so well.

MillieMoodle · 15/06/2020 07:28

@Straysocks and @wizzler thank you!

Weigh in this morning wasn't great - I've put on 1.2lbs and am up to 12st 5lbs Blush A bit annoying as I've been 12st 3.8lbs all week. I blame the kebab and wine on Saturday night.

Never mind, onwards and downwards this week hopefully! Aiming to lose 2lbs this week.

Pippinlily · 15/06/2020 08:04

Morning all.

25/5 12st 7lb
1/6 12st 4lb
8/6 12st 2lb
15/6 12st 0

Another 2lb down. Food/booze has been far from perfect this week (but still a lot less than I was eating previously). But I’ve been really pleased with myself with exercise: & made it to 5k this week running 🙌.

Straysocks · 15/06/2020 09:16

11st 4 (and a quarter). Not brill but I haven't been doing all the things that shifted the first loss so I can't really be surprised. On the off chance than the pp offer of training me like a 19 yr old boy was genuine, I must politely decline. Beautiful day here, planning to go for a good walk later and that much lauded skipping rope has acquired some dust already so I might just shake it off. Big thanks for the motivation. I'm loving hearing about your loses and efforts and more committed this week.

Straysocks · 15/06/2020 09:19

@Pippinlily half a stone!! Another newborn leaves the group! Is there a klaxon and some confetti anywhere - hang on 🎉 📢

wizzler · 15/06/2020 09:22

Well done Pippin
Stray I got dds skipping rope out yesterday. Managed 3 skips.

bluebluezoo · 15/06/2020 09:27

I’m back up again. Missed 3 days of walking as was knackered and can never motivate myself after early shifts. Late shifts were seriously busy so didn’t get a proper break and ended up shovelling whatever I could find in.

So no overall loss again which is disheartening. I’m hoping some is the stir fry I had last night- it was just all the veg in the fridge which needing eating with a spoonful of sauce so should be just bulky rather than calorie heavy.

Straysocks · 15/06/2020 09:48

@wizzler Good start, I am aiming for similar today! It's 3 more than you would have done so it definitely counts @bluebluezoo nightmare when on shifts, all power to you 💪🏼

Moo678 · 15/06/2020 10:40

Hi Everyone,

@Pippinlily well done on your loss - I'm desperate to get below 12st but I think you're going to beat me to it!

I didn't weigh myself this morning. Mainly due to having the worst night ever and ending up in the spare room so didn't have a chance to weigh before I'd drunk three cups of coffee. Buuuuut yesterday I was up 2lbs!!! this seemed very unfair as I'd been down 1lb all week. Then drank half a bottle of wine and ate a tube of pringles on Friday night. Not good I realise but surely not sufficient to acquire 3 lbs of fat!! I'm secretly hoping it was all water weight and it will be gone by tomorrow morning.

Other than Friday's blip I've been good. Stuck to 16:8 and often 18:6 all week and tried hard to eat mindfully and make good choices. I'm eating a lot of salad.

On a more positive note my 1st pair of goal trousers now fit comfortably and still did on Sunday despite the overnight weight gain!

Trandafire · 15/06/2020 13:08

Thanks @wizzler yes we have to look at the bigger picture. And I'm actually fairly happy with how I look now and how my clothes fit. Think I look like a 'normal' person in the mirror. Probably delusional because my BMI is still over 28 but at least I don't feel hideous. Comparison photos on Thursday so hopefully will see more of a difference there. As well as getting drunk on Friday night I had a manic and stressful weekend in many ways but didn't turn to food to get me through it. Exercise has gone a bit off track too so I'll just have to make up for it this week. Congratulations to everyone who's lost.

DollyPartons · 15/06/2020 14:42

Well done on losses. Mines just weird. Yet again, down to 13.13 yesterday, back up to 14.1 this morning, overnight ffs!

Moo678 · 16/06/2020 07:35

@DollyPartons how annoying! Keep at it though. At least you are seeing the 13 appear....

@Trandafire I know what you mean - my BMI is still 27 - but I actually think I look ok - not the film star I want to be obviously, but ok.

I weighed again this morning and it’s a stay the same for me this week - sigh. I’m sticking with fasting though - I don’t have the energy for anything else. Aiming for 7 clean fasts and will push at least 4 to 18 hrs. I still think this will work - it’s just slow and wine and Pringles is are not going to make it any faster 😂

19th May 12st 9
25th May 12st 8
1st June 12st 8
8th June 12st 5
16tg June 12st 5

MillieMoodle · 16/06/2020 13:48

@Moo678 we are the same on 12st 5lbs this week then. I didn't weigh myself this morning and am going to try and wait until Friday, then do my official weigh in on Mondays still. Hoping to make it to 12st 3lbs on Monday!
