Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

Thank you, @JonHammIsMyJamm.

I haven’t seen the spreadsheet, but I don’t actually know what I weigh at though I suspect it is around 22.5 stone.

I am tracking calories using MyFitnessPal, and I have a very basic workout that my lovely friend put together for me, that I did for the first time today - it is only 14 minutes but I had to break it up into 3 parts, to get through it. It made me tired and a bit out of breath, so I am hoping it still did some good.

@SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius welcome to fat club.

@Notlostjustexploring, I have to be careful with the brushing teeth thing. I have a history of eating disorders and frequent/excessive teeth brushing was a food avoidance tactic i used. I don’t want to fall into those old rhythms again, no matter how much I’d like to drop a few lbs!

Only 45mins to go Grin

FreckledLeopard · 24/04/2020 18:23

Thanks so much @witchofthebog 😊

Had a shitty day so having a glass of wine. Went for a run at lunchtime, still sticking to 1200 calories a day. Might just be that most of this evening's calories come from wine rather than a meal...

diege · 24/04/2020 21:50

I hope you enjoyed your tea Jonhamm! 🤣
SDT welcome! I REALLY want an empire biscuit now - no idea what they are!

Had a stressful workday and will have to do more in the morning as just can't get stuff done with the dcs...Boss on my back! Stress makes me NOT eat thank God so treating myself to the rest of the hotel chocolat egg sandwich I've been hoarding for a week. Goes down very nicely with a cup of tea Brew

Thanks so much for the spreadsheet freckled!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 24/04/2020 22:59

An empire biscuit is two round shortbread-like biscuits, sandwiched together with jam, topped with water icing and a half cherry or jelly tot.

menthollyinsane · 25/04/2020 07:31

@SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius I didn't know what an Empire biscuit was either. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago discussing whether Empire biscuits should have smooth or scalloped edges. I had to google it then. I've not had one but they do look good.

I've been really good with food ... but had too much wine which is piling on the calories ... I'm tracking them properly now on Nutracheck and never before realised how alcohol piles it on !!!! ... definitely cutting the wine out to see if it speeds up weight loss ... ( from Monday !! )

tinkywinkyshandbag · 25/04/2020 08:14

Also joining if I may please. I had lost a stone with SW but since lockdown I've put 5lb back on. Since I was aiming to lose 3st that's not good. I'm asthmatic and avoiding the shops, DH is going and doing a good job but it's not the same as being able to go myself, also being at home, slightly bored and anxious is not helping, I keep picking. We have set up a workout area in our snug, I have a yoga mats, weights and a tv for you tube etc but just not using it! Also eating far too much lovely bread we are getting from our local bakery every day (they deliver). Feeling fat and unhappy so look forward to getting back on plan. Like others have said it would be great to emerge from lockdown looking better than before!

diege · 25/04/2020 08:32

Morning everyone! Welcome tinky 😊
Have splurged on a dress from BODEN this morning that I've been thinking about all week...Got to keep going now; can't have it hanging in the wardrobe sneering at me.
Feeling guilty about the chocolate I had last night - didn't even enjoy it that much! 😩
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

OwlinaTree · 25/04/2020 08:33

Morning @tinkywinkyshandbag. I'm doing SW too. Hard work at the mo!

OwlinaTree · 25/04/2020 08:34

Oooh can we see the dress? How exciting, you did shopping.... So jealous!Grin

OwlinaTree · 25/04/2020 08:34

I need a new bra but really don't want to buy one on line.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 08:55

Oh that sounds bloody delicious @SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius.

Morning all and welcome @tinkywinkyshandbag Smile

I did enjoy my dinner, thanks @diege. I’m interested in your dress too. I’ve been filling and emptying a Boden basket for weeks now, I can’t decide if I like the items enough to run the risk of a post office trip for returns Hmm. I have had to order a couple of bras though, @OwlinaTree. I’m down to one that fits me properly and comfortably. For some reason the rest have turned on me and become horribly uncomfortable (it can’t possibly be the extra stone I’ve lumped on, it must be the bras). I’ve also ordered a new sports bra as mine is elderly and incompetent.

Sorry to all who had stressful days yesterday, hopefully the weekend brings a bit of peace.

OwlinaTree · 25/04/2020 09:03

Where did you order from @JonHammIsMyJamm?

MsMeNz · 25/04/2020 09:16

I'm desperately trying to loose weight to get out of the obese category to reduce risks of covid. I'm about a size 18 now. Lost a stone so far. I know commercial meal replacements are not sustainable but I'm having one for breakfast, one for lunch and a child size evening meal of whatever we are having and one small evening snack and I'm t total. I genuinely am not hungry anymore. I guess.trying to lose weight for health rather than look is keeping me more motivated than past attempts.

diege · 25/04/2020 09:31

The dress! I'm liking the long sleeves, and hopefully will get lots of wear out of it! Got 20% off too using a mumsnet code - will still be living off value beans all month 🤣
MsMeNz I agree that health is a great motivator. I'm trying to get my blood pressure and cholesterol down - getting the weight off can only be a good thing!

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 09:51

@OwlinaTree, Figleaves 🙂

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 09:54

Oh i saw that, @diege. Really pretty. It’s the sort of thing I look at, put in my basket and then delete because it’s not really me IRL and I’d hardly wear it.

OwlinaTree · 25/04/2020 09:55

That's gorgeous @diege. Thanks Jon

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 09:58

I used a discount code. Hang on, I’ll see if I can find it. I only got 10 or 15% off but every little helps.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 10:05

Try HITHERE for 10% off at Figleaves

diege · 25/04/2020 10:16

Thank you! Am thinking it might be a bit similar to a Cath Kidston one I have from last year, but living next door to a post office won't be too much of a faff to return if I need to😊

You're all very good with your bras. Mine are a disgrace - too tight and discoloured but can't bring myself to replace!

Must shift my fat arse out of bed. I need to box dye my roots but need to shampoo out my root cover up first 😩 Seems like a mountain to climb!

JonHammIsMyJamm · 25/04/2020 11:59

I have to get up at stupid o’clock for the dog @diege, otherwise I’d still be luxuriating in bed. I’m trying to resist the lure of home dying. My roots are shall we say, significant and but it took 18months to undo the damage I managed to do last time I attempted it. So probably best I step away Wink.

DH has gone ‘ DIY jobs’ crazy today; mowing the lawns, putting hooks up, fixing things. He’s the least handy man in the universe, so it’s quite funny. Lockdown is obviously taking its toll.

My hayfever is killer today, despite the prescription antihistamines Hmm. No doubt I’ll terrify people on my dog walk today, then. I feel like I should make a big sign, “IT’S HAYFEVER, NOT COVID!” Grin

tigerbear · 25/04/2020 12:00

@Notlostjustexploring I know what you mean. I was all up for it at the start of the thread, but haven’t been on here for a week, and totally fallen off the wagon.
Like others, think I’m eating (and drinking!!!) to fill the anxiety/worry thing.

Plus, DP’s way of relaxing and having a focus is to cook lovely things.
We’ve just had baked cinnamon, apple and toffee swirl for breakfast. Blush
