Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

shimy For breakfast I usually have scrambled eggs and then some fruit, or an omelette with mushroom and tomato and a bit of ham if I've got it or cheese. This morning I'm having overnight oats, frozen strawberries and raspberries left overnight with oats and topped with banana and yoghurt.

OwlinaTree · 17/04/2020 10:02

If I'm in a rush to get to work I have a cereal bar and a banana in the car!

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 10:16

Happy for you to join us @Rumandcoke41.

Add yourself to the spreadsheet. Good luck.

Morning all!
So after I’d decided yesterday to diet, go low carb, etc, I went down stairs to tell DP, and his first response was ‘oh, but I’ve planned to make more bread this week, an apple cake, etc’ 😬
Have managed to persuade him that we do low carb/healthy for at least 3 days straight, then cheat day, then healthy again.

Going to go for my first run later.

Shimy · 17/04/2020 10:22

@OwlinaTree I like the scrambled eggs idea with fruit. I usually alternate with Porridge oats for breakfast but it doesn’t seem to have led to any weight loss overall.

feelingnervousnow · 17/04/2020 10:35

Just wanted to say 40g of cereal is NOT enough!! Angry. Ok, as you were x

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 10:43

@feelingnervousnow 400g would be preferable. 🤣

Hi, I know i'm a day late but can I join please?
Just weighed myself and i'm 13st 7 lbs, thats 2lb on from last week. This is the heaviest i've ever been, im only about 5ft2/3 so now classed as obese. Im struggling with the weather this week as none of my summer clothes fit Blush

FreckledLeopard · 17/04/2020 10:49

Managed a good day yesterday - stuck to 1200 calories and logged them on MFP, and walked 2 and a half miles too. Waiting for my 'Diet Now' shakes to arrive by courier today and the plan is to have a shake for lunch, with some fruit, and then dinner of around 600 calories. Breakfast today is coffee and a banana.

I want to try and get some rapid weight loss in the first week or so and hope to god this kick starts my motivation to keep going. So far today I have a banging headache and am exhausted, as I did my usual waking up at 3.30am for 4 hours.

Hope everyone has a good day.

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 10:51

@AutumnNymph you know your love of a spreadsheet?, well, would it be possible to have a section to show what we have lost each week as well as our current weight? Just a thought. I now think of you as Autumn Admin Grin

owl I'd forgotten about overnight oats! Will add some yogurt to the shopping list!
minnie welcome to the group! I'm 5' 2.5'' and every extra pound seems to show. Goes on my face first, boobs last (of course) 😆
Had a pitta and half a grapefruit for breakfast and Im starving!!! May need an early lunch as have only unhealthy snacks in 😳

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 17/04/2020 10:53

Morning all, typing this from an excessive bike in the shed. Obviously not going fast enough if I can type but it’s a start....
Can I join? I lost 3 stone last year using the bastard technique. It’s taken gall bladder surgery and a pandemic to make me gain back about a stone so far- I’m scared that I’m on the slippery slope and you lot have already motivated me.

Minnie123456 · 17/04/2020 10:54

Think ive added myself to the spreadsheet right.

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 10:55

@Minnie123456 welcome to fat club. Luckily it is cold here today so I can hide behind a baggy cardi but I struggled with my clothing over Easter with the warm weather

feelingnervousnow · 17/04/2020 10:57

@menthollyinsane maybe it said 400g. I’d best check...

JonHammIsMyJamm · 17/04/2020 11:00

Well, I’ve started well on the exercise front with w1r3 of c25k. Food-wise, I’ve been ok I’ve had breakfast. Tea, coffee and crumpets with banana and peanut butter. Not exactly low cal but fairly balanced in terms of protein and whatnot and will fill me up until lunch.

I just need to stay away from the snack cupboard now. Planning to have soup for lunch with no bread, which will be a pain as surely dippy bread is the whole point of soup Hmm?

Dinner is Thai chicken curry and jasmine rice. I don’t plan to go crazy in terms of dieting and restricting, it doesn’t work for me, I’m just going to try to cut out the snacks, reduce my portion sizes and up my exercise. Nothing radical.

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 11:00

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight hello, welcome. Keep peddling!

OP posts:
feelingnervousnow · 17/04/2020 11:03

@JonHammIsMyJamm to be fair, soup without bread is just a drink. Is there no other option??

sushinelove · 17/04/2020 11:04

Think I've added myself to the ss, not nice in black and white.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 17/04/2020 11:06

Possibly @feelingnervousnow but it would involve cheese, which isn’t really in the spirit of PTCEDYFB (sadly).

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 11:07

@sushinelove but it will look better next Thursday right!

OnlyToWin · 17/04/2020 11:08

Please can I join?

I am fit - do quite a bit of running and walking but I can’t seem to outrun my fork!!

Anyway, know it sounds stupid but I actually daren’t weigh myself for a bit. I just know it will knock me back rather than spur me on! So, would it be okay if I join for the accountability and the inspiration from all your success and maybe add myself to the spreadsheet later when I dare to brave the scales?

Thank you 😊

menthollyinsane · 17/04/2020 11:12

@OnlyToWin out run my fork, that made me smile.

OP posts:
AutumnNymph · 17/04/2020 11:13

@menthollyinsane. ofcourse it would. :D On that note , any objections if I change the weight to be in pounds rather than stones - will make calculations easier. I can easily convert the existing values using a formula.

AutumnNymph · 17/04/2020 11:14

If I have been outed to anyone on this thread, don't dare tell my co-workers I am spending my furlough period on yet another spreadsheet Grin
