Morning, thought I would start a new thread for March as it has been such a good thread again in February. I think the supportive atmosphere really helps us all. I'm hoping to be dead on 9stone by the end of March, currently 9st3.25 (total loss of 8 pounds).

What HIIT do you recommend hounds? Off out for a walk now. My mum died last year and today's her birthday so will visit hergrave.

TheHoundsofLove · 16/03/2020 17:01

I‘m sorry to hear that Hey - best wishes to you. Flowers

TheHoundsofLove · 16/03/2020 17:05

For HIIT, I’ll do my own circuits - things like burpees, squats, planks, mountain climbers, high knees etc...
I bet there’s loads on YouTube too. Plus, I might dust off the 30day shred.

Heygirlheyboy · 16/03/2020 17:07

Thank you Hounds. I will look those up. I was very close to caving earlier but I'm logged for the day now so I'm safe!

Porpoises · 16/03/2020 18:48

Will also be working from home every day now. Feels very weird and quite sad. Thankfully outdoor exercise still allowed.

Going to try to get a routine going. Also gonna buy a spade and seeds tomorrow if possible, get some gardening exercise.

On the plus side, my lent resolution of not eating any snacks from the work snack table will now be very easy SadGrin

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 16/03/2020 19:31

Sorry to hear that hey, 💐
I've had an ok day today. Just under my calorie limit and about 8000 steps due to lack of commute. I really hope we don't get locked down to the point we can't go for a walk in the park

Heygirlheyboy · 17/03/2020 08:09

Thanks igglepiggle.

Here's my groundhog day:
Ono with blueberries and strawberries and chamomile tea
Ratatouille with salad mountain
Mushroom soup
Usual snacks if needed, think will have hummus and carrot sticks today. I'm aware I'm quite far under daily intake and don't want to fall.into dieting trap so will see how day goes.

Octopus37 · 17/03/2020 10:51

Had a reasonable day yesterday but still 9.3.75 this morning, thing it must be hormonal.
Today, I've had oatcakes and almonds for breakfast, not sure about lunch, I'm going to a friends for dinner which could be tricky but will do my best.

I'd say give it another day or two and it will reset again. Enjoy your meal out and Happy St Patrick's Day to any Irish amongst us!

Octopus37 · 17/03/2020 12:23

Sorry to hear that Heygirl, find this time of year hard too, 18 years since my Mum died this Thursday. Happy St Patrick's Day all, I justify celebrating cause my Great Grandma was Irish. Have been known to make Guiness brownies in the the past which are awesome but not very diet friendly. Well done to everyone for keeping going, not easy at the moment with all the uncertainty. Just eating some Tesco Finest Moroccan Soup for lunch (302 cals) quite tasty

Hey and Octopus I'm sorry this week isn't a good week for you both anyway - it can't be easy with how things are at the moment. Flowers
I'm sticking to 16:8 and no snacking and hope that will keep me on track.

I went for my usual run this morning and did 8.5k - it's a really lovely warm and sunny day here today so it felt great to be out in the open air.
I've had some vegetarian sausage rolls and chilli jam for lunch and then am having spinach soup and a cheese bretzel for dinner.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 17/03/2020 13:20

Hello all! Today I've been using up bread - not very diety, but we had some delivered with the milk and I'm keen to preserve our stock of oats cereal etc... and use fresh stuff while it's fresh. Probably silly, but we are self isolating due to all having coughs and a bit of a temperature.
Today's food:
B. Toast & avo with coffee (420)
L. Small salami salad sandwich with extra salad and coffee 400
D. Ginger soy chicken rice and greens (not sure)

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 17/03/2020 13:22

Well done on the run @TheHoundsofLove it's a lovely day here too! Makes you feel good to get out in the spring doesn't it?

EndlessUserName · 17/03/2020 13:35

Flowers @Heygirlheyboy @Octopus37

So apparently biscuits are being stockpiled! I feel like mystic meg!

TheHoundsofLove · 17/03/2020 16:13

They’re doing it for your own good stop ! 😂

Porpoises · 17/03/2020 18:09

Get well soon iggle. Flowers to hey girl and octopus.

Weight is steady at 72.5 kg. Nice bike ride this evening. Feeling a bit grief-stricken about what the country is about to go through, one way or another.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 17/03/2020 19:23

Thanks @Porpoises. It does feel really strange doesn't it? We are ok, I really feel for anyone stuck in a flat with little kids, mine are up a bit now and we've got a garden.
Stuck to plan today, and went for a nice walk in the park in the morning (which I think is allowed)

Porpoises · 17/03/2020 19:51

Yeah I think solitary exercise is fine at the moment, and keeping fit is good for the lungs and the immune system :)

I'm also very grateful to have a garden.

Octopus37 · 17/03/2020 20:47

Feel as if I want to eat everything that isn't nailed down. Not done too badly today.

Octopus37 · 18/03/2020 07:24

9s2.25 this morning so going the right way again. Older boy off today due to staff self-isolation and shortages. Younger one still in at the moment. Hope people don't stockpile chocolate, might have to buy some Easter eggs, not joking either, I've always liked the fact that when you eat half an Easter egg, you've usually eaten less chocolate than you think, how often does that happen.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 18/03/2020 13:41

@Octopus37 that's great! Well done

EndlessUserName · 18/03/2020 18:36

Well done @Octopus37

Yes I'm planning lots of walks while we still can

Stay safe everyone Flowers

Heygirlheyboy · 18/03/2020 20:13

Well done octopud, I will be thinking of you tomorrow Flowers

I have had a bad few days Sad however I have 20000 steps done today! So that should knock out my two wedges of cake!!

I am delighted to have gotten some exercise back on track and feel good on it. I know the last week has added a fortnight to my target but what can you do!

Porpoises · 18/03/2020 21:07

Breakfast- porridge
Lunch - Bread and winter-veg salad
Dinner - homemade parsnip soup and bread
Went for a short run

Feeling pleased with today.
