Morning, thought I would start a new thread for March as it has been such a good thread again in February. I think the supportive atmosphere really helps us all. I'm hoping to be dead on 9stone by the end of March, currently 9st3.25 (total loss of 8 pounds).

@Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket that's awesome! Enjoy tonight

Heygirlheyboy · 14/03/2020 08:25

Wow igglepiggle and well done!

Heygirlheyboy · 14/03/2020 09:44

Slept much better last night but still feeling the fuzzy headed effects of the blip, just shows you. My current breakfast of champions is 25g porridge with water, blueberries and strawberries alongside two scrambled eggs. Feel I could log for the day after it! Grin Otherwise I think I'll go with same menu as yesterday, ratatouille with salad and mushroom soup. Have a good Saturday!

Octopus37 · 14/03/2020 14:24

Dinner sounds delicious octopus! What happened me wasknow after a great day Tuesday I had a big wedge of chocolate cake and thought it was fine, ate great again weds and thought a little more can't hurt and then Thursday I let the flood gates open completely. Over the space of a single hour I undid all my good work Sad. All OK today might do a weigh in morning to reassure myself!!

Heygirlheyboy · 14/03/2020 18:27

OK I'm logged for the day, please let me be back on track by Monday or so! The mushroom soup is not even 70cals and v filling and yum so it's great to have that in.fridge almost 10k steps in the bag. Have a lovely Saturday night all.

Heygirlheyboy · 15/03/2020 08:32

Morning!
My day:
Greek yoghurt, berries and coffee (249)
Omelette with cheese, salad and veg (280)
Dinner undecided
Snacks: nuts, fruit if needed. Weigh in tomorrow.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 15/03/2020 11:15

Morning! That all sounds lovely heyboy,
I probably went over yesterday, several cocktails and a vegan burger that was almost the same size as my head. A good night out though, and probably the last one for a while and I did do over 18000 steps with one thing and another. Today I'll try to make sure I plan good meals around scrambling to come up with online lectures for tomorrow (covid argh!)

Heygirlheyboy · 15/03/2020 11:17

18000!! Wowzers, I have to up my game!!

Octopus37 · 15/03/2020 11:53

Stuck to what I had planned yesterday, apart from a portion of left over crumble. 9.1.25 today, still aiming for dead on 9 by the end of March.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 15/03/2020 14:29

@Heygirlheyboy it was mainly walking to various pubs, so not that good!

Porpoises · 15/03/2020 17:27

Decent weekend, ate healthy meals. Starting to want even more exercise, which often happens once I start doing a bit.

I'm craving chocolate. I've not bought any since I started this, would like to reintroduce it without going overboard. Wondering how best to do that.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 15/03/2020 20:06

Bit carby here today.
B. 2 hot x buns & strawberries
L. Cheese salad sandwich
D. Falafel, chicken kebab, salad, corn on the cob. Low calorie ice cream
Overall just under 1500 Cal's
5000 steps

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 15/03/2020 20:10

@Porpoises the only way with stuff like that (choc & biscuits) for me is to buy it in small quantities. Just the portion I'm going to have. If I get a multipack I just eat the lot.

winterisstillcoming · 15/03/2020 22:55

@Porpoises I sometimes have options hot chocolate or a chocolate protein bar for breakfast for a chocolate fix.

I'm just about keeping on track but mega mega busy. Not stopped all day. Having a lot of building work done and scrambling to get the house liveable before we go into lockdown. More trips to the tip, gardens a mess, plasterers start this week. Need to choose paint, light fittings, hardware and move furniture and clothes around. They announced they also need to lift the carpet in the baby's room.

I've been following them with wipes.

But hey ho I'm distracted.

Keep going all xx

Octopus37 · 16/03/2020 07:31

Not that great today, went out for a meal but thought I had been reasonable, obviously not though as 9.3.75 this morning, could be cumulative, have been less active for various reasons, haven't fallen off the wagon completely but haven't been as strict. That said, feel as if I am due a period, two and a half pounds is a big overnight gain.
Yestedays food
Breakfast - 1 and a half cereal bars
Lunch - A chocolate browmie (DH had a slither)
Snack - 2 Oatcakes, had to have them , really needed to eat prob cause of lunch choice
Dinner - Piri piri half chicken with peppers, onions, salad and Mexican rice, Went for a healthiest option without feeling deprived. A pint of cider which was also lush. Had some successful family time which was so worth it so maybe worth the weight gain. Moral of the story - I should have eaten a chocolate bar rather than the brownie, cause I would have known the calorie count which would have been about half lol

I love your moral OctopusGrin

I'm down from crazy weight fri but up to 9.3.5 so up 1.25 since last Monday. So tyres not slashed but full valet delayed. Back on it and still aiming for 9@end March Confused

Heygirlheyboy · 16/03/2020 09:30

Today:
Porridge with milk, blueberries and half banana
Omelette with cheese and salad
Ratatouille with salad
Fruit, nuts, peanut butter, hummus for snacks if needed.

TheHoundsofLove · 16/03/2020 10:34

Glad to see that it's still business as usual on this thread!
'You should have eaten the chocolate bar' is a moral that I can live by! Grin

Heygirlheyboy · 16/03/2020 13:11

I'm off work now, in Ireland, so I'm going ot have to work hard to get decent exercise in and keep the food routine.. already finding it tough!

EndlessUserName · 16/03/2020 13:22

Well done @Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket

Just a blip @Octopus37 you have a great downwards trend

I'm up a few lb today, hardly surprising seeing as we had not one, not two, not three but four takeaways last week...

Feeling more motivated today. However don't want to go to my usual exercise class... And stress usually makes me overeat! Trying to trick myself into thinking that I must not binge otherwise we'll run out of food! Sad times

Hope you're all staying well

EndlessUserName · 16/03/2020 13:23

@Heygirlheyboy yes I've been working from home since last week which I found has really really derailed me!

Send me your tips please!

EndlessUserName · 16/03/2020 13:24

Anyone else hoping that the public start panic buying chocolate bars so that there's none left for me!

Heygirlheyboy · 16/03/2020 14:36

That would ideal!! I'm full to the brim and still would demolish junk if I had it....it's a scourge!! Just this day and I'll get through. We can do it!!

TheHoundsofLove · 16/03/2020 14:47

Working from home is tricky - I do it anyway so am used to it. It's another reason why I like intermittent fasting - at least the whole morning is just taken out of the equation! I think you have to be quite strict on not snacking as it's so easily a really slippery slope!
Schools are all closed here now (Germany) so it's going to be challenging combining working and homeschooling... I'm really hoping that outdoors exercise will continue to be allowed. Sad If not, I've already planned to switch to HIIT and weights at home.
