Ooh exciting, @MotherOfDragonite!

Keds, smoked salmon if you like it maybe?

Onceuponatimethen · 26/02/2020 22:07

With some lemon!

Dp and I still haven’t cracked open the shakes - I think we feel a bit nervous about them Grin

Tonight we had boiled eggs and veg instead

ValentineFizz · 26/02/2020 22:14

Hi all,

Some great losses here this month and welcome to the new joiners, this is a lovely supportive group! I've not been posting much but still plodding away, as predicted I'm not going to hit 7lb loss in Feb but started the month at 10st 4lb and now at 9st 13lb so still thrilled with that! I was 10st 11lb at start of Jan so next milestone will be a stone off, and I've lost 2.5 inches from my waist so definitely heading in the right direction.... KOKO troops, we can do this Smile

DownUdderer · 26/02/2020 23:23

Some amazing Feb losses! 2.5 inches from your waist! Superb! 7lbs and 5lbs and other great losses! Fitness goals as well! Everyone on here really inspired me! I didn't do pancakes at all because my kids are too fussy. I dream one day they'll get a bit more relaxed with food!

I had steak, avocado and broccoli for dinner yesterday, yum. Today I'm planning salad for lunch and chicken and veg for dinner.

My DS has been ill all week, but today he has perked up again, what a relief. I'll be trying to fatten him up, he's had no appetite for days.

I had egg mayonnaise yesterday and I finely diced some celery and added that, such a lovely crunch!

I hope the dentistry pain is subsiding

DownUdderer · 26/02/2020 23:26

@Tryingtwo (I'm on my iPad and find MN hard on an iPad!) Hope your mouth isn't too sore.

ploughingthrough · 27/02/2020 01:34

Hi all well done for great losses. I'm just on my way back from a 4 day beach holiday so all I'm hoping for is no gain. I've tried to be good and there has been no booze or ice cream or major indulgence although I've had some quite big dinners. I'm really worried about gain but not much I can do other than jump on the scales tomorrow morning and assess the damage.
If I haven't gained I should have a 2kg loss by end of Feb.

cricketmum84 · 27/02/2020 07:21

Morning all! Quick check in from me today as I'm ruched off my feet!

Still at 18.5 this morning. 5lb loss for the month but ideally want to get a bit more off by Saturday to keep on track for my end of year target!

Plan for today is:
B - 2 x breakfast muffins
L - cucumber and pepper crudités with low fat hummous
D - mushroom omelette and salad

I'll catch up with the thread properly tonight!

Have a great Thursday all!

Morning. 63.7kg so up a bit.

KedsAndTubeSocks · 27/02/2020 08:59

Sorry @Egghead68 -iirc, you are quite tall, so losing any more must be quite tough. KOKO
I still can't get into the 60s. Even if i was 69.9 kg I would feel like I had passed a milestone.

JessJonesJumps · 27/02/2020 09:43

Weigh-in day today:
3.4lbs loss for Feb
8.6lbs loss since I started in Jan
My new mantra till the end of the month is: Water, exercise, salad and sleep. Although to quote Sesame Street today will be brought to me by 'salad and sleep'.

DownUdderer · 27/02/2020 09:49

I've had a good day, I stuck to my plans and didn't get tempted even though there were temptations! I have been trying on clothes and having a think, and I would like to lose 3 more pounds and then I'll try and maintain that weight. Basically most clothes fit nicely now. I was quite surprised. I've been hoping to fit into some old jeans that I've never worn and I was shocked today that they fit. I bought them 7 years ago and they were tight then and they got pushed to the back of the wardrobe never worn! Also in the Christmas\boxing day sales I bought some leather leggings in a mad moment and they fit me! Maybe they sound dreadful, but they looked good on, I was surprised and relieved and chuffed.

recklessgran · 27/02/2020 10:14

Ah well done @DownUdderer with the losses and the clothes success. [I know how that feels after my triumphant dress moment earlier this week.]
@CricketMum84 you have lost a phenomenal amount and 5lbs for the month is amazing surely? You must be chuffed with yourself.
@JessJonesJumps well done - that's a lot of weight gone. I think I might try your mantra and will call it " Mantra for March" if you don't mind sharing it? It might make me think a bit more about exercise and getting to bed at a reasonable time. My salad week seems to be working as I've dropped 2lbs since Monday after stalling last week.
Have a good day all.

Onesmallstep67 · 27/02/2020 10:27

15st 3lbs this morning. Have had a better couple of days, keeping busy. Much less biscuit consumption. Did my first 2 mile walk ( each day of Lent ) and drank more water. Would love to see another lb go before March. Thank you for the lovely little boosts in the comments. We've got this !

Onceuponatimethen · 27/02/2020 10:42

I’m so impressed with the weight losses!

@DownUdderer you must have been really pleased about the clothes! I managed to fit back into a dress I bought a year ago today and while I’m still overweight in the bmi chart that means I’m going in the right direction now!!

Onceuponatimethen · 27/02/2020 10:43

I’m planning a salad lunch - betroot, tomato, celery etc with a bit of cous cous

KedsAndTubeSocks · 27/02/2020 12:12

Just back from a jog Grin

Ihatesundays · 27/02/2020 12:54

Nearly lost the thread! After a month of zero movement I have lost..0.1kg... hopefully (please god) the scales are on the move again!
12 weeks till holiday as well

Onceuponatimethen · 27/02/2020 14:04

Fingers crossed @Ihatesundays

Keds, it looks like you did an army assault course Grin Very impressed!!

I can’t run (ankle issues) but walked dds to school today and was v proud of myself.

MotherOfDragonite · 27/02/2020 17:33

Had a terrible day in terms of weight loss. Didn't get enough sleep, was tired and hungry when I met a friend for brunch and ended up scoffing a whole omelette, beans, and two slices of buttered toast. And then two vegan brownies. Not sure how many WW points to point it as :-/

Egghead68 · 27/02/2020 18:05

Looks like a tough mudder @Kedsandtubesocks!

@motherofdragonite I think bad days are inevitable. I hope tomorrow is better.

Glad you have seen some movement @Ihatesundays.

Nice work on the clothes @downudderer and @Onceuponatimethen

KedsAndTubeSocks · 27/02/2020 18:11

@Vebrithien how are you doing?

Onceuponatimethen · 27/02/2020 20:49

@MotherOfDragonite my book by prof Roy Taylor says you can have the odd crazy day but that it won’t affect your weight loss if you pay it back by being a bit less crazy the next day!

cricketmum84 · 27/02/2020 21:22

I'm in an almighty flump tonight. Don't want to eat anything. My chest hurts from coughing, my throat hurts, my stomach hurts. I'm hungry but everything I want is on the banned list. Just absolutely bloody fed up with myself.

I need a major kick. Gonna have 2 babybel and go to bed.

Onceuponatimethen · 27/02/2020 21:52

Cricket that sounds tough - it’s hard to diet when you don’t feel well. Sending you some Flowers

cricketmum84 · 27/02/2020 21:58

Thank you @Onceuponatimethen it doesn't help that I'm hormonal and have the oestrogen rage going on.

Also the "D"H keeps whinging about a pain in his jaw whilst just going "mmm" every time I mention I don't feel great. Is there room under that patio @recklessgran???
