Also really need someone to talk me into trying couch 2 5k again... I've never made it past week 2 🤣

O.k. a new week, a fresh start. I can do better. Will switch all the milky coffees to green teas, eat more salad and, although running isn't accessible due to my useless bloody lungs, I can start getting a good walk in each day alongside the yoga.

HollyTheHarrier · 11/11/2019 10:10

@cricketmum84 I absolutely love running, it is great for my mental health and it makes me eat better because I want to fuel my body and keep it working for me. Also it burns a tonne of calories so you can eat a lot more! So I would suggest trying again! It might be worth joining a beginners’ course or organised couch to 5k session so that you have company. Running is more fun with others for sure.

MsTSwift · 11/11/2019 10:13

I hate running but have fixed my road bike up on dh turbo so do an hours fast cycling every day whilst watching box set ER. That coupled with fasting as much as I can cutting to two small meals a day no snacks lost 6kg in one month. Another half a stone am at target so very motivated

MsTSwift · 11/11/2019 10:14

Not giving up my morning latte though! Only so far I can go...

DownUdderer · 11/11/2019 10:39

I’m determined to get out of this plateau! I’ve eaten really well today even though it’s been busy and crazy. I had a lovely hike, it was steep and my legs had a good work out.

Good luck everyone.

Suenahmi · 11/11/2019 11:03

I gained 3 and lost pounds last week. I was 10.7, went up to 10.10 then back to 10.7. I was ill so did no exercise and ate too many carbs.
Plan is to have low carb and try 16:8.

cricketmum84 · 11/11/2019 11:15

@MsTSwift wow you are doing amazing!!

Ihatesundays · 11/11/2019 11:59

73.9kg this morning which is heading back down to where I was.
Didn’t manage 18:6 today as I had some wine last night and needed something so had a tiny bowl of cereal. Tomorrow though...

Egghead68 · 11/11/2019 13:36

SO tired and drained. Only 3.5 hours sleep last night.

I always seem to overeat when I am tired and under the weather.

Just had half a green tea Kit-Kat (disgusting) and a bag of baked crisps ~200 cals total.

Really want to go to bed but struggling on... Just about to climb 8 storeys.

Egghead68 · 11/11/2019 13:39

Re the running - I have really useless lungs too but running/jogging/run-walking is good for reducing the inflammation.

I would recommend trying Parkruns on Saturday mornings. It doesn't matter how slow you go - you can walk the whole thing if you like and plenty of people there with kids and dogs. Fun and supportive atmosphere and coffee and cake afterwards

Tryingtwo · 11/11/2019 13:56

Well the chippie weight loss was too good to be true, I have gained 1.8 lbs since yesterday so overall up 0.2lbs since my Wednesday weigh in. I planned my meals for today and have already eaten 750 cals as I'm hungrier until mid afternoon then don't need to eat much for the rest of the day but I completely forgot that we are going to eat at the pub tonight so today's plan is totally screwed up.

WoollyFoolly · 11/11/2019 14:38

Oh dear, basically went totally off plan here over the weekend so weighed in at 12.3 this morning. Making an effort to stick to it again today. Out for parents evening tonight so might just have a v. Light meal for tea beforehand otherwise it'll be a bit late for me to eat when we get back.

7Worfs · 11/11/2019 15:52

Plateaued the last 3 days. Managing 15:9 today but with a lot of extra calories.

On the train home now, baby and husband in tow. Interview was ok, but missed opportunities to talk myself up. First question was: talk me through your career starting at leaving university. Well that was over 15 years ago, but yeah, let’s waste time talking about my first jobs Confused

Feeling meh now, but will default to my optimistic outlook soon. What’s meant to be will be.

Egghead68 · 11/11/2019 18:27

Fingers crossed @7Worfs.

HollyTheHarrier · 11/11/2019 19:08

Glad your interview went ok @7Worfs

Pretty good so far today. Lunch as planned, some extra oat cakes as snacks and just had a pitta bread dipped in a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a pre run snack (was starving!). Dinner is cooked so I can just reheat when I get home. I’m within calories before considering my run so should be well within overall. Annoyingly I failed to do my online shop properly so I’m missing a key ingredient from my planned salmon broccoli and sweet potato dinner tomorrow!

7Worfs · 11/11/2019 19:57

Thanks, guys!
Holly your dinner plan is making me hungry.

I didn’t eat dinner in the end as I ate a lot today. Also recruiter called, I am likely going for a 2nd interview, they liked me but I am the first seen candidate, they have to see the others first.

I’m really craving M&S hummus, but I shouldn’t. When I finish the carrots I start eating it on its own Blush complete lack of self-control.

DownUdderer · 12/11/2019 00:04

Good luck with your job interview!

I’m down a pound this morning, what a relief!

We’re on high alert for bush fires, so keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck everyone

cricketmum84 · 12/11/2019 07:22

Morning all and welcome to day 12!

Haven't weighed this morning as I'm trying to only weigh every other day now rather than every morning.

First day on ww green plan yesterday went ok. Weirdly I felt more hungry than usual but I think that was psychological more than anything else.

Plan for today is:

Am - water and green tea
L - spiced carrot and ginger soup, a few seeded thins
D - 2 cauldron sausages, 2 poached eggs, mushrooms and roasted cherry tomatoes
Snack - skinny whip bar and Nescafé gingerbread latte

Have a lovely day everyone and stay safe @DownUdderer. Got everything crossed for you x

Well done @7Worfs and good luck for the second interview!

FashionFoodLaughs · 12/11/2019 07:24

@7Worfs sounds promising, sending positive vibes your way. @DownUdderer the fires sound horrific hope you can keep safe.
Yesterday went exactly to plan and today’s is similar:
B overnight oats with sultanas, apple
L chicken and cous cous salad, satsuma
D butternut squash, chickpea and spinach curry with beansprouts and rice
Hot chocolate if I fancy it later but have a dance class from 7-8 so might need something a bit more

Egghead68 · 12/11/2019 07:47

69.9kg

Stay safe @DownUdderer.

Plan
B: Fruit, quark, nut butter 350
L: sweet potato curry 560
D: Cashew stew, veg 500
S: Options hot chocolate 50
Circuits class

Howlongtillbedtime · 12/11/2019 07:53

Morning all

Fingers crossed for you here @DownUdderer , the fires look terrifying!
I stayed pretty much on plan yesterday but as it is TOTM I am happy with just not eating an extra 1000 cals in crisps and chocolate.
My plan today is 16:8 , my window is 11 till 7 which is working well. I dont even miss breakfast, the lie we have always been told about it being the most important meal of the day just seems wrong now.

So soup at lunch
Salmon at dinner as I didnt have that last night and fruit for snacks with a pack of sunbites.

Good luck to everyone for today.

Onesmallstep67 · 12/11/2019 08:05

Morning, almost mid month and lots of positive outcomes for people, well done ! I have managed to dip back under 16 st, need to maintain this now and try to shift at least a few pounds in what's left of November. Struggling still with feeling pre menstrual but with no sign of it arriving. This has happened a few times now and it's not very pleasant whilst it lasts. I need to keep busy and occupied as I know on the days I am pottering around the house I am far more likely to want to snack. I definitely have an issue with eating because I am bored ! Thank you to those of you who always reach out when others are needing a boost.

Baguetteaboutit · 12/11/2019 08:09

It sounds really scary downudderer, I hope the wind stays in your favour. Take care x

I've got my fingers crossed for your job interview 7worfs, best of luck.

I swerved breakfast yesterday, had a bean wrap and salad for lunch and a veggie burger and sweet potatoes yesterday. All green teas and no milky coffees.

I don't know how those of you who do this regularly function. Do you get use to two meals a day or do you live hangry?

Baguetteaboutit · 12/11/2019 08:11

Well done one small step!
