I've got the hump with the plateau so bad I've made DH put the scales in the shed. It's such a palaver to get in there that I won't be hoofing across the garden at 6am, post wee and pre green tea, and I'll just weigh once a week from here on in.

I have no idea about Christmas. I think I'll call a Christmas hiatus and go hell for leather with everything that is wonderful from Xmas Eve- Boxing Day and NYE-NYD and deal with the aftermath of those 5 days later.

Baguetteaboutit · 10/11/2019 11:49

Was 11stone 12 before I jettisoned the scales. Blush So up a bit but my legs ache from so I think probably water retention and definitely not the big bag of popcorn I had last night.

Baguetteaboutit · 10/11/2019 11:49

10 stone 12! The week wasn't that bad.

7Worfs · 10/11/2019 12:02

smallstep Flowers

I’ll probably still do 15:9 over the holidays and indulge moderately. If I accidentally eat a box of mince pies, I’ll count it as lunch. Grin

cricketmum84 · 10/11/2019 13:03

Happy Sunday everyone!

Am up slightly today but sure it's temporary. I really didn't eat much yesterday but accidentally drank a whole bottle of prosecco... also (TMI) constipated today :( and my stomach is hurting a lot.

Sending positive thoughts to those of us feeling poorly or in a plateau.

Plan for today is roast pork dinner for DH and DC. I've got myself a little crustless quiche that I'm planning on having with some salad and low fat coleslaw.

I've meal planned for the full week including work lunches. I'm getting back on the Bulgarian salads and have picked up some violife greek style "cheese" to try!

Re Christmas plans - I won't be doing 16:8 Christmas Eve- Boxing Day but probably will the other days. Thinking about it most of my Christmas calories come from animal products - allllll the pigs in blankets, my mums amazing sausage meat stuffing, cheese... I haven't eaten meat since April and hoping to have completely cut out dairy by Christmas so I shouldn't do too much damage! I've already bought a 3 fish roast for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, that and veg should be quite healthy. I've asked everyone not to buy me chocolates and I'm not a big dessert fan.

Have a lovely relaxing Sunday everyone!

Looks shit @LuLu2020, like a cheap site that hits weight loss boards for cheap traffic.

Ihatesundays · 10/11/2019 18:40

So am going to have another go at 16:8 from tomorrow (or perhaps 17:9 might be more realistic with work?)
Got to get out of this plateau.
I’ve been eating a bit badly out of frustration with it all. So desperate to lose another stone.

Tryingtwo · 10/11/2019 18:43

Hi all, congratulations to those of you seeing losses.
I was not good at all yesterday, I kept picking even though I wasn't particularly hungry and went to the chippy for dinner but I have lost 1.6 lbs since Wednesday. I hate it when I have lost weight after breaking my diet because it makes it harder to stick to it for the next few days. I have been sticking to plan today but will be going out for a pub meal tomorrow as an old friend of DH is in the area for a few days so todays loss probably won't last long.

I've fallen off the wagon too today but COME ON we can do this. Let's all stick at it for this week. I'm determined but I need you guys to help! I'm so happy that 16:8 has meant I can limit my calories and my clothes all feel looser. I really want to get to 10.3 by Christmas!

Sausage casserole for dinner.
Lots of water
Hopefully will manage the gym again today.
I am 14 stone half pound this morning and looking forward to seeing 13 something kn the scales.

Good luck to everyone for a happy monday !

FashionFoodLaughs · 11/11/2019 07:46

Uurgh I fell off the wagon at the end of October. Haven’t had the guts to weigh again but was 10.10 the last time I did. Going to have 2 days on plan then weigh on Wednesday to assess damage one water weight has abated. Plan for today:
B - overnight oats with sultanas, apple
L - chicken and cous cous salad, satsuma
D - prawn noodle soup
S - options hot chocolate

HollyTheHarrier · 11/11/2019 08:27

Morning all, checking back in again! I had a reasonably good week in terms of food choices but struggling a bit for motivation to log everything. I’ve just started with a PT who recommends meal planning and logging in MFP in advance. I spent a bit of time thinking this weekend and have mostly planned my dinners (but not put them all in MFP). For today I am having:
L: oatcakes with beetroot hummous and feta
D: spicy peanut pies
I need to try to have a healthy snack as I’m running later. Might have more oatcakes but will have to buy something to have with them.

Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats @cricketmum84 on your whoosh! So pleased for you that your patience has paid off

Jeds55 · 11/11/2019 08:31

Happy Monday all
This weeks weigh in has me at 10 stone 13.6 so loss of 4.6 lbs. Very happy with that but may not be totally realistic as was on period last week so naturally heavier. Have been very good, soup for dinner most nights and running every other day. Don't want to get into the 11 stones again!! Have a good day/week all

Egghead68 · 11/11/2019 08:32

Ok got a plan together:
B Fruit & nut butter 450
L salad & fruit 500
D vegan ready meal 450
Bodyblast

cricketmum84 · 11/11/2019 08:44

Happy Monday everyone! The start of a brand new week always gives me motivation.

I've had an email from ww today about their new plans, so I've had a read and going to try two weeks on the green plan and see if I can start whooshing again! It seems pretty similar to the old plan except I get more points and the only free foods are fruit and non starchy veg which I think could work with me quite well!

Plan for today is:
Am - green tea and water
Lunch - spicy super green soup with a small wholemeal roll
Dinner - veg salt and pepper stir fry
Snacks - alpro yoghurt and blackberries, Nescafé gingerbread latte (tis the season!)

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
