Oh lordy my day yesterday went a bit awry. Suffice to say I ended up eating a doughnut drizzled with Nutella. I don't even like doughnuts 😣

cricketmum84 · 16/11/2019 09:26

Morning all!

Still 19 exactly today ugh! I'm swapping ww plans for a couple of weeks and see if that makes a difference. Much lower points allowance but more "free" foods like wholewheat pasta, brown rice etc. I eat quite small portions anyway so I don't think there's a risk of me overeating on the free foods. DH still commenting that I'm in "starvation mode" so maybe eating a little more will kick start me again!

@Baguetteaboutit so happy you have broken the plateau! Hopefully I will be next!

@Vebrithien keeping everything crossed for you!

Not sure what I'm doing for lunch today. May get the soup maker out and do a batch of the super green soup but leave out the coconut milk and maybe add a couple of small potatoes to thicken instead.

Dinner is a Mexican bowl of sweet potato wedges and chilli and paprika spiced green lentils with spinach.

Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday!

@HollyTheHarrier I already had a roasted veg pizza in the oven 😂 to be fair though it was a stone baked one so the thinnest crust ever and I only had 3 slices.

That risotto sounds right up my street though! I make a chicken, bacon and leek risotto for the rest of the family sometimes so I could do this at the same time for me :)

All plans gone to pot due to extreme tiredness.
So far
9 small chocolates 450
Christmas bun 450
3 pieces cheese 250
Mashed carrot & swede 100

Yes congratulations @Baguetteaboutit and fingers crossed @Vebrithien!

AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter · 16/11/2019 18:59

Evening everyone!

I had an evening off last night and had wine and Camembert...followed by a ton of chocolate Blush. I've really struggled to be sensible today but I've had 1400 cals and started my 16:8 now. I'm really hoping that I'm down to 10.3 at least on Monday!

WoollyFoolly · 16/11/2019 20:52

Ooh I've a fondness for baked camembert loaded with chopped apple and nuts - starting to realise why I needed to lose so much weight! 😆

Think it's been OK today, DH away for the weekend so lots of running around after the kids, no snacks at all today. It's my birthday next week and what I'd really like for it is to see a number beginning with an 11.

DownUdderer · 17/11/2019 00:25

I’m down a pound, that’s 5 pounds off for November. Good work everyone and good luck.

We went to the movies last night and I had a burger before we went in, but I had a low carb bun! It wasn’t too bad at all! It said it was almond flour and coconut something or other. I’m sat on the beach at the moment and it’s coming up for lunchtime and I don’t know what I’ll have. Just zero planning for food today. I put my shorts on again today and I was still surprised I could do them up!

Egghead68 · 17/11/2019 07:15

Wel jell of the sitting on the beach!

68.8kg so 2.4kg down so far this month (thanks in part to norovirus).

Plan
B Ravioli 400
L Falafel salad 550
S Quark 120
D tbc 330

7Worfs · 17/11/2019 08:58

A slightly indulgent weekend for me - bacon and chocolate cake (not together).
Good for morale and mental wellbeing.
Exercised this morning.

Angie6868 · 17/11/2019 09:07

Good morning everyone. I hope you're all well. I went for a long walk yesterday and had a healthy dinner last night with loads of veg. Going to make a low fat spaghetti Bolognese for tonight.

cricketmum84 · 17/11/2019 09:29

Morning all! Happy Sunday!

I'm feeling pretty organised already, I've made a meal plan and a shopping list to take me up to Friday, some good zero point teas planned! I'm going to make a broccoli and asparagus quiche today (I do still eat eggs but only from the local farm) and a batch of zero point coleslaw for work lunches.

Plan for today is;
Am - plenty of water and a green tea
L - alpro yoghurt and a few blueberries
D - mashed potatoes, honey roast parsnips and green veg medley of asparagus, tender stem broccoli, leeks and peas with a bit of vegetable gravy

Still 19 exactly. Might not weigh for a few days now.

Morning! No movement here either. Maybe we are all due a whoosh soon.
Aim for today is to drink more water! I'm terrible at this at home, slightly better at work as I have a water bottle on my desk.
Parsnip soup for lunch and I think chicken & bean quesadillas for tea.

Ihatesundays · 17/11/2019 10:55

No movement still.
Tried to wait until 11am to eat, didn’t make it but my period has started which gives me low blood sugar so gave in.
Made banana pancakes, they were foul! So had a small bowl of bran flakes.
Soup for lunch and Thai curry for tea!

Italianmoma1983 · 17/11/2019 12:20

Hi everyone,

I have started a —pity party—thread and 7Worfs kindly told me about this thread, I hope you don’t mind me joining as I really want to do something about my weight as I’m really unhappy.

Starting weight : 16 stones
Height : 5f7

Ecci · 17/11/2019 18:13

Evening all, I've been a lurker on this thread for a couple of months, but today I'm so happy I just have to share. I've broken through the 200lb barrier. First time for about a million years I've been less than 200lbs. Started dieting in August at 222.4 lbs, this morning I was 199.8. It's wonderful to see a reading that doesn't start with a 2.

cricketmum84 · 17/11/2019 18:19

Welcome @Italianmoma1983 and @Ecci :)

I really hope you enjoy the thread!

I've worked ALL weekend and now have the worst headache ever. Craving chocolate but so far resisting. Littlest made an "under the sea" themed cake after watching junior bake off :) it looks and smells lovely but I only have 4 points left today and really fancy a G&T while I'm a celeb is on tonight!!

Hello, been on and off here since Spring.

BIG push now as I WANT to lose a stone by end of Jan / early Feb as I have a hospital appointment. It might not sound a lot, but the extra stone I am carrying makes a big difference to my lung function.

November starting weight: 11st 2
Loss since January: 12lb
Target for November: 10st 10

Current weight: 10st 13

Marking my place and will try and update weekly.

Baguetteaboutit · 17/11/2019 18:58

I went out-out last night. Had a great time, came off the diet in a big way but totally worth it 😁 The damage is unknown as I've jettisoned the scales for another week.

Was supposed to be back on onto things today but scuppered by dm's homemade cake. So, as of right now - I'm only making good food choices between now and Christmas Eve.

Well done Ecci, totally worth delurking for milestones like that, congratulations!

Hello Italianmomma - I've been on this thread/ October thread for a little over a month and it's a great place to get help, vent and share successes. Hopefully the company will help you feel more positive.

Right, veggie burger, a mother load of salad and some sweet potatoes for me.

Egghead68 · 17/11/2019 19:02

Nice work @ecci!

@onestone2go - I weigh 10 st 13 and am doing this for my lung function too. Want to get my BMI below 20 (currently 22.5) and keep it there. Next hospital appt for me is in April.

FashionFoodLaughs · 17/11/2019 19:16

Must be something in the air @Baguetteaboutit I too went “out out”. No snacks but I had a pizza at a boutique cinema and shared some malteaser buttons then had aaaaaall the alcohol including my first espresso martini. Don’t regret it as had a great time but won’t be weighting for a few days. Did a 90 minute run in the morning so hopefully not too much damage done.

cricketmum84 · 17/11/2019 19:20

@FashionFoodLaughs espresso martini is my favourite thing in the world 😍

FashionFoodLaughs · 17/11/2019 20:18

@cricketmum84 I have always wanted to try one but the thought of cold coffee put me off. I’m glad I powered through as it was bloomin’ lovely!

Tryingtwo · 17/11/2019 20:54

Congratulations Ecci, that is my target too. I'm just about to break through 210lbs so I'm a bit behind you.

onestone2go · 17/11/2019 21:11

@Egghead68 We have the same goals, let's do this! There's no hiding from the spirometry Grin

Egghead68 · 17/11/2019 22:25

Sadly not but we can definitely do this -hides mouthful of chocolates eating currently-. We have more incentive than most!
