Hi everyone,

Hope you're all having a nice evening

I've not posted in November so far. I've had a few days off my diet but got straight back on it the following day. I've only lost 2lb since the first week of October Sad. I'm doing 18:6 most days still, which is helping me control my calories.

I'm feeling fed up and fat today even though I've got a new dress on in a smaller size! I need to push through and lose another 11 lbs by Christmas.

Ihatesundays · 14/11/2019 19:52

So managed not to eat until 11.30am when I was STARVING!
Snack: banana and biscuit
Lunch: sandwich and yogurt
Snack: a small scone (because I was going on a 2 hour walk)
Dinner: pasta and tomato sauce

Bit carb heavy! Just about managed the 8 hours, walk has destroyed me though!

Egghead68 · 14/11/2019 21:51

Had my John Lewis personal shopping trip I booked as a treat for losing 3kg. The stylist sized me by eye as a 14 which I was pleased enough about BUT, even better, a couple of things were too big and he had to go and get a 12!

My stylish was pretty bored and obviously hated his job. He said he is a qualified architect and just doing this as a temp job. He was clearly desperate to get out of it. Nevertheless he found me some good dresses and jumpsuits and, miracle, jeans that actually fit. He was also a good source of gossip. You get free Prosecco and don’t have to buy anything (although I bought loads). Overall, highly recommended.

DownUdderer · 15/11/2019 03:22

@Onesmallstep67 sorry to hear you can’t loose weight at the moment, keep up your hard work and fingers crossed you’ll see good numbers on the scales really soon.

The personal shopper/ stylist sounds fun! I’d love a jumpsuit that was flattering!

I’ve seen some rather nice shorts in the shops and I’m just hoping I’ll look good in them. Maybe I’ll wait another week!

I’ve had a lovely long hike today. It’s smoky today but no nearby fires.

HollyTheHarrier · 15/11/2019 06:08

59.9kg today so back on track at last. No actual weight loss in ages though. Must keep on keeping on! PT increased my calories in MFP yesterday, not sure I trust it though!

Egghead68 · 15/11/2019 07:31

69.6kg.
Plan
B: Fruit salad mini egg/cheese muffin 300
L: Avocado salad, plums, quark 650
D: something snacky
Circuits & spin.

Happy Friday!

Egghead68 · 15/11/2019 07:37

@DownUdderer just in case you can get this in Australia, this jumpsuit is amazing on and hides all lumps and bumps:

Had a 12 hour day yesterday but so pleased I managed to resist un-nutritious choices (there was a lot of Dominos pizza and donuts flying about!). Brought lunch, tea and snacks with me feel so proud of myself. Now, to not unravel over the weekend, this is always my downfall 😢

MsTSwift · 15/11/2019 08:00

69kg was 76kg on Oct 8th so pleased with that. I have been brutal. Trying to skip meals meals tiny no snack except carrot or revitalise carbs cut right back. Still wine at weekends. Actually feel great if abit hungry

Howlongtillbedtime · 15/11/2019 08:14

Morning all and happy friday !
I had a sneaky weigh this morning and I have lost another pound and a half. Happy with that and need it to keep me motivated over the weekend.
Also I know work will be full of cake today , we have a birthday and it is Children in need !
Out tonight as well to the pub to watch a band , all good fun but not really a diet friendly day .

Good luck to everyone for a fab day.

7Worfs · 15/11/2019 08:47

Thread reads very positive this morning, go us 🤗

I’m getting a bit lazy about exercise, even when I’ve slept enough I just don’t feel like going in the cold conservatory and doing HIIT first thing. Hoping to get out for a walk today, rain better stop!

Mid-month weigh-in shows 1.7kg loss so far, I’m pleased with that, must not become complacent.

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 15/11/2019 09:23

Love the personal stylist idea! I'm going to look into that.

I'm a pound up from where I finished at the end of October, but I'm not too unhappy, as
I've been really poorly, & have managed not to comfort eat. Big deal for me!

Hoping to get a pound off by next Friday.

Have a great day everyone.

cricketmum84 · 15/11/2019 09:59

Sorry for late checkin! Had a busy busy morning. Poor Ivycat was limping when we got up this morning, she couldn't put any weight on her back leg. So had a vets trip where they think she may have been scrapping and has been bitten.

Still hovering at 19 exactly. I am so bloody fed up. It's been 6 weeks since I lost any decent weight!

Plan for today is:
L - sweet potato and coconut Dahl soup
D - DH and DC are having pizza, I need to find something vegan, quick and easy if anyone had any suggestions?

Picking up littlest DD from her school residential trip this afternoon. It's been so strange without her! Hence quick and easy celebration type tea.

Hope everyone has a lovely Friday!

Wow @mstswift 7 kg in just over a month is LOADS!

I had a weird day yesterday, ate very little but wasn't hungry at all. Result being that I'm back down to 12.0 this morning - hurray! Now to try not to bounce back up and around it.

Vebrithien · 15/11/2019 10:48

Morning all.
I've been a bit distracted this last week, so haven't had the heart to weigh in. I've got constant nausea, and suspect I might be pregnant again (after 2 miscarriages this year, I'm hoping for 3rd time lucky).
Official test date will be Monday. I'll see if I can last that long...
Annoyingly, grazing is the only thing helping right now.

WoollyFoolly · 15/11/2019 11:57

Good luck @verbrithien, I hope you are right and everything goes well for you Flowers

Popetthetreehugger · 15/11/2019 12:06

Fingers crossed 🤞 Vib ! Every time I was pregnant the only thing to stop me being sick was to lay still and eat curried chips ! So my heart goes out to you 💐
I cant put this off any longer , tried to buy plain black trousers yesterday, I will need to go up another size ... can't face it ... so ... as I'm edging in to plant based anyway, Iv decided to give Jason vale juicing a go ... my plan is to juice every meal I'm at home or work and just not go mad when eating out . We're away till Sunday, so plan to buy whatever I need for Monday Tuesday on way home . DH can't face it , but if he just stopped the booze and cake he'd be fine , very sporty . I'm planning to join local gym , for yoga and swimming . My goal is to firstly get back in to the clothes Iv got . We recently moved and I did a complete Marie condo ( have I got that right?) and got shot of all my small sizes , so it's only the big stuff anyway 😳 . Thank you for listening, slimming groups don't float my boat so this is perfect for me 👍

7Worfs · 15/11/2019 12:18

@Vebrithien 💐
I remember vividly the constant nausea. I also had to eat all the time to deal with it.

HollyTheHarrier · 15/11/2019 18:55

@cricketmum84 might be too late for tonight but how about veg risotto? Last night I had risotto with mushrooms, courgette, leek onion and garlic, plus roasted cauliflower. I had feta on top which obviously isn’t vegan but I think it would be good without as well.

Tryingtwo · 15/11/2019 23:35

Good luck Verbrithien, I hope everything goes well.

Since my weigh in on Wednesday I have lost another 1.4 lbs, which brings me to 5.8 lbs down for the month so far. I am so close to 15 stones now and I hope that 14 st 13 lbs is achievable by the end of the month

Egghead68 · 16/11/2019 06:09

Morning.
69.0kg
Just had 3 chocolates for breakfast as not slept a wink and need the blood sugar.
Plan
L:sprouts,mushrooms, cheese & nuts
D: baked crispy cauliflower
S: probably more chocolates

Baguetteaboutit · 16/11/2019 07:15

10 stone 9.5! Down just over two pounds since taking a break from going on the scales last weekend. That'll do me. Fuck you plateau.

Ihatesundays · 16/11/2019 08:06

Well am 73.6 which is a small improvement. Hopefully sign it’s going down. 73.3 was the lowest it went to pre-plateau.
Full of stinking cold. So no exercise for me!

FashionFoodLaughs · 16/11/2019 08:14

Well done on smashing the plateau @Baguetteaboutit and love your user name too. Down 1lb here to 10.12, I started the year at 12.1 and have stayed under 11 since September so pleased but would still love to be 10.7. Strange how numbers mean so much!

7Worfs · 16/11/2019 08:32

Morning 🙃
Exercised this morning, it wasn’t nice, but am feeling good after it.
The last few days fasting has become more difficult, I feel hungry at every waking (4-ish times a night), but resisting so far.

Chocolate cake tomorrow, it’s DH birthday. 🤭
