Well done to all +0.2lbs here
Over yesterday by 144 cals, hit fibre, but not water/protein/steps went to Pilates.

Not2bObvious · 12/11/2019 12:01

How you finding the Pilates happier? Were you thinking of doing some sort of boot camp too? I’m at home with poorly kids, getting sick last night and now listless & warm, hope it’s just 24 hours. Holding out for my lunch, working on no eating between meals but it’s a challenge!

I was planning on doing 3 visits a week to gym to include one new class for 6 weeks to enter a comp there, but thanks to Pilates being somewhere else and wedding I won't make it the 3 required times this week so I'll be ineligible but I'm still taking on the challenge of it.

So I'd Pilates yesterday, I don't like it and that's the last session I'd paid for so I'm done with it now. I'm going to go to Circuits tomorrow evening and walk then Thurs/Friday.

Bootcamp, that I love, started back yesterday €100 for 4 weeks but I can only stay for half of the class so I decided against it, I don't have the €100 to spare, more especially with gym membership paid for.

Sorry to hear everyone's poorly in the obvious household

Not2bObvious · 12/11/2019 13:25

Sounds like a good plan. I love circuits, time flies. I’m trying for 2 x easy enough dumbbell workouts a week plus my steps. Just enough but not too much to set the hunger levels off too much. Kids are much better thankfully so as long as nothing takes a turn, back to reality tomorrow. Today I’m just jogging on the spot every now & again, nearly 7,500 steps so happy with that. Might get out for a walk when himself gets home

It's a new one to me but the time of class suits so I'll chance it.
Step total last week 49000
Today I won't get a walk in as I've to go to a presentation tonight after work, just time for dinner & shower & go.

Lunch was a tuna sandwich on brown with cheese but no mayo in the mix so I'm counting that as a win & a bag of treble crunch

Glad to hear dc are improving

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/11/2019 15:31

I want to eat the world today. Currently 500cal over. I could make a different dinner but I am hungry today.

Bugger all steps as wfa&e and home today.

Happierwithouthim · 12/11/2019 16:53

Is it the cold life
I could've not gone over yesterday if I wanted to but I was hungry so I chose to. It's too early for you to last the evening with very little food

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/11/2019 17:16

I think it is happier. Been freezing today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 06:03

Sts

Happierwithouthim · 13/11/2019 06:58

Sts here also finished up 7 cals over yesterday

WreckTangled · 13/11/2019 07:12

0.2 up.

Wolfcub · 13/11/2019 07:21

Up, a lot, no idea where it's come from.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 07:26

My breakfast is too calorific as it doesn't leave enough for the rest of the day. But I do love it. What do you all have for breakfast. Don't have time to cook.

Not2bObvious · 13/11/2019 07:39

Sts here too. Twice a week when I’m doing my long day offsite I have an egg microwaved into a kind of omelette & a slice of wholemeal toast with 7gr of butter (pre portioned pats) - other days I have a poached egg on wholemeal toast & I don’t need the butter. Weekends, add bacon/sausage etc.
Keeps me going for 2-3 hours, these days I try to distract myself til lunch but when I’m not being v strict I’ll have a snack. What are you having for breakfast life?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 13/11/2019 07:39

I don't eat breakfast

Happierwithouthim · 13/11/2019 07:48

I've poached eggs on slim bagel with light butter or bacon medallion sandwich or porridge. Bacon cooks while I'm making DC's lunches, others generally get cooked at work

Sometimes I go without until 10am & then would have fruit & 0% fat greek yogurt or poached eggs or porridge

Not2bObvious · 13/11/2019 07:52

On weekends I should also say I push breakfast out til 12 after kids all dropped off to activities so I only have 2 meals. And on Sundays lunch is earlier & I don’t have dinner - just a snack. Still can manage to go wayyy over despite these strategies but it would be worse without them

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 08:29

HM I'm not a massive fan of egg. Maybe i have to learn

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 08:34

I quite like the turkey rashers thoufb

Not2bObvious · 13/11/2019 09:05

Must keep you pretty full though life, although you’re right it’s a fair chunk of you cals.Could you cut some of the seedy stuff out? Drop the cals a bit there? Drop the granola and add something else to sweeten it? I use low sugar jam with my Greek yog and raspberries to take the tartness down. You could have a turkey bacon roll for half those cals.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 09:36

Keeps me full for about 3 hours. So not that long.
I'm going to buy more turkey rashers and seed bread

Happierwithouthim · 13/11/2019 10:35

If on instagram follow yesanotherdiet she's now calorie counting and managing to make things like thai green curry with white rice for 360cals - obviously you won't eat that for breakfast Grin

Would you make the switch to almond milk to save cals?
It is more expensive though.

Linda McCartney sausages are a filling breakfast

You're getting a big chunk of fibre there too

Is that all in one bowl?

So far today I've used 573 cals but over two meals/snacks
Breakfast 95g bacon medallions, 2 slices burgens bread, 10g dairygold lighter
Snack Glenisk protein yogurt with 20g All Bran Golden Crunch

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2019 13:39

Yes all in one bowl. I could split it into 2.
