Great to know your scales is accurate wreck
not I should do that too save some cals towards weekend but I'm on 1600 and up for about 16/17 hours a day I need every bit I have Grin
My aldi doesn't have those taco fries you get but I saw a new one on instagram I'll upload pic off my phone there

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2019 10:32

I think I’ve just inadvertently had a refeed/diet break on my holidays so I’m not feeling as hungry so it’s been a bit easier to hand onto a smidgen of cals. I can’t imagine it’ll last for the full 49 days so I’m making hay while the sun shines! I know this sounds odd but I nearly get worried that I’m not as hungry as I used to be but I’m sure it’ll pass. Reading a great book called Atomic Habits, there’s a line in about how to address weight loss/health goals - when faced with something challenging ask yourself would eating this help towards my goal of losing weight? Or when I’m thinking of exercise, would this work towards my goal. I may not have explained it very well but it’s about building small habits into your life to support a process that helps you reach your goals. Only a couple of chapters in but it’s fascinating

Hi all,
Feeling sorry for myself, have come down with a rotten cold, I couldn't talk this morning, but luckily had lots of hot lemon water this morning so that I could still talk to parents when I met with them.
It was a long day, so got McDonald's for dinner.
I know, I know it was really bad, but I just couldn't face cooking, my head was spinning when I left work.
Will probably be in bed by 9.

Lunch was good though, had left over soup, plum, an orange and a yogurt. Lots of water today too.

You poor thing curvy, fair play to you battling through. Nothing wrong with a McDonald’s - it has its place!
Only got my dinner about 10 mins ago as had unexpected kids activity to do drop off/collect from. Had to hang around for an hour so went to a shopping centre & tried on some options for my Christmas night out. I do not like changing room mirrors and they sure as hell look like they hate me😂

Not I've decided not to do much talking tonight to try and rest my voice. Worst thing about it is, is that I was completely fine yesterday! So it took me by surprise this morning. Thanks not, I try not to take any time off, I always feel so guilty!
Ignore the mirrors! I hope you found a couple of options you like?

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2019 20:39

Meh not sure, nothing that stood out. It’s not for another 3 weeks which could mean another few pounds off, would make a difference in one of the outfits. The size 12 fit, just looked lumpy, if I could only grow 3 inches I’d be set😉
Did a dumbbell workout, very manageable, hope it doesn’t come back to bite me in the ass! Weights weren’t too heavy so shouldn’t get doms

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 06/11/2019 21:21

I would love to be taller too! I'm about 5"1.
Not go back in a couple of weeks and try it again?

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2019 21:47

Exactly what I’m thinking curvy, this activity is going to be every Wednesday for the next few weeks so I have time. I’ve been wracking my brains trying to think if I have something nice I could wear so I could avoid €€€ but no, anything Christmassy enough has made an outing with this gang. I have one gorgeous dress I bought in a real size 10 and this is the second Christmas party I didn’t manage to fit into it. Third year might be the charm

Sts this morning so still all going the way I’d like. Got up and did 20 minutes of walk/job YouTube video since it’s meant to be a rainy day, makes it harder to get out where I’m working today. Saved just under 100 cals yesterday, I think that’s probably the most I can save without making the day after too hungry. Company over tonight, first real challenge of the week, wish me luck!

Sts. Missed fbw s as my meeting over ran. Bad steps again too.

Happierwithouthim · 07/11/2019 21:44

Sts - got a walk in albeit with dc 7k steps approx

Not2bObvious · 07/11/2019 22:39

Seems to be a sts day. Managed to pretty much stick to cals, just a smidge over, around 60 I reckon. Got just over 10,000 steps so that’s ok. First night this week going to bed a bit hungry but it’ll pass.

Down .2 this morning. That’s 2.6 down since Monday. Sneaking away from 12 stone.
Contemplating going for a walk before the day starts proper

Wolfcub · 08/11/2019 07:05

Down a bit finally. Starting to reduce the half term damage

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2019 07:05

Well done not.
I sts again which is fine as I'm not following properly.
Got meetings today so no fbw again today. Will go Sunday

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2019 08:23

I have to update my weight, something, ahem, shifted. Actually down 1.2! Phew wriggle room for the weekend

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/11/2019 08:29

Woo hoo not!

I'm staying the same mainly.

Wolfcub · 08/11/2019 08:47

Well done Not

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2019 09:36

Thanks ladies, been a decent week but as we all know it can go ass up wayyy too easily over the weekend. That’s great that you’re seeing a drop too wolf, going the right way for sure.
Speaking of how it can wrong, I’m about to go for breakfast out, at least I have my 10,000 steps in the bag. Did a jog for 30 minutes and about another hours walk. Starving!

Happierwithouthim · 08/11/2019 10:35

Similar to a few days ago this morning but my friend had borrowed my scales so I'm putting a conservative loss of 0.3lbs down for today.

I'm still not 100% better & I'm not back to exercise or tracking fully either.

Well done to everyone

Not2bObvious · 08/11/2019 16:34

Hope you get better over the next few days happier, sounds like you’re doing great considering not feeling well. The exercise and tracking will still be there next week😉
Having a lazy afternoon after reaching 17,000 steps. Treated myself to a cookie & coffee, looking forward to dinner, I’ve a slow cooker running with a meal for next and the smell is making my mouth water! Probably have steak, onions and mushrooms

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 08/11/2019 16:34

Meal for next week, I could really do with using the preview buttonHmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2019 20:50

I've lost it as had no break at work last few days and weather too horrible to walk. Will pick it back up Sunday as at the swimming pool all day tomorrow

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/11/2019 06:38

Sts

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2019 07:30

Sts after a hard week is really good, like a maintenance break life - although I doubt it felt like much of a break! Be interesting to check how many cals you took in and how many steps, it could serve as a benchmark - like 4,000-6,000 steps a day with 1800 cals = maintain.
Used my banked cals last night on some crisps & a little chocolate. Means I’ll have to go some careful calorie budgeting if I want wine & snacks tonight. Haven’t weighed in yet but likely to see a spike having salty snacks last night.
