Sts for the 4th day. Scales are taunting me

Wolfcub · 10/01/2020 06:46

Down 7/8ths

Life it will happen, probably all in a big whoosh

WreckTangled · 10/01/2020 06:55

My weight is going up and up. Need to get a handle on this.

Not2bObvious · 10/01/2020 07:30

Down .8, looking at 1lb loss this week if I don’t cock it up over the weekend

+0.9lbs this morning as had a carby dinner, average still down so happy with that.

Got out for a little one mile walk this morning

WreckTangled · 10/01/2020 14:16

I did a thirty minute tabata before lunch. Will do yoga once the dc are home from school.

Wolfcub · 10/01/2020 18:36

Not the best day food wise.

Crumpets and marmite for breakfast
Emmental and mushroom toastie and cream scone for lunch
Chicken, fennel, olive and tomato traybake for tea with couscous

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 10/01/2020 19:05

At a conference all day, but there were vegan options!
Weight sts, need to start moving more!
Steps 10216, not too bad considering I spent most of the day sitting.
B- coffee and weetabix
L- red pepper, falafel, salad in a wrap, a pear and lentil crisps. Coffee.
Filled my water bottle three times, so lots of water too.
D- veggie fingers, a few fries and salad

WreckTangled · 10/01/2020 19:17

B - coffee
Snack - coffee Grin
Lunch - grilled bacon and halloumi, sugar free jelly and two squares of 85% chocolate
More coffee
Dinner - red pepper, cucumber, celery in a melted cheese pot. 0% total yoghurt with strawberries and a zero sugar/carb/calorie salted caramel sauce I got on amazon.

I still want to eat more. I'm not hungry though must stop the snacking there's no need.

Happierwithouthim · 10/01/2020 20:24

@WreckTangled lovemalteaser asking after you on frugal thread Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/01/2020 07:31

Finally a slight shift down. Need to maintain the weekend now

northender · 11/01/2020 07:56

I have been useless at keeping up with this up to now, but will have one last try to keep up!
Since I was last here my weight crept up a little but I did keep exercising, albeit not as often as I should've. Now I'm back fully on it. Managed not to go mad over Christmas so didn't gain.

So 6 pound loss so far (I need 6 stone long term, not sure if that's realistic) but more importantly I can feel a difference in my clothes already. Going to tabata class this morning and have classes booked for the next week. Was chuffed yesterday as a work colleague bought cream cakes. I had one, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but immediately got back on track rather than allowing it to trigger me to carry on eating crap. It's all about building long term habits and responses isn't it?

Wolfcub · 11/01/2020 08:09

Well done North that all sounds positive and well done Life

1.4lb down today.

Not2bObvious · 11/01/2020 09:12

Good for you north, sometimes it just clicks and looks like it has for you. Major kudos for maintaining over Christmas, I don’t think any of us managed that (if I’m wrong sorry)

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/01/2020 10:06

Hi north, well done on the cream cake front, yes definitely about forming good habits! I really need to do that too!

Weight this morning is still 12s2lbs, those 11s seem so far away again!

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/01/2020 10:57

Well done North. 6 stone could be done in mini chunks. Fab going Al la cream cake. Totally the way to go.

Lots of losses going on. Yeah.

My average is -1 this week. Garmin does give averages bit I didn't have the data in for it to do the math

northender · 11/01/2020 12:52

Tabata class done & it was tough but good.

northender · 11/01/2020 13:05

Portion size is my other downfall so I'm trying smaller plates/dishes & fine with it so far. Life, yes to breaking the bigger goal up into smaller chunks, my first goal is to lose 8 kg, then it will be 5kg at a time.
Do you all weigh daily?

WreckTangled · 11/01/2020 14:34

Well done north. I love a tabata.

I'm going to upgrade my Fitbit from the charge hr 3 to a versa. That way I can have my sugar levels showing on the watch. Hopefully can sell my current one for about £50 going by eBay.

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/01/2020 15:07

Most of us weight daily and see the inevitable fluxes of the human body. It's the average after 7 days that is key (5minimum) then compare week on week averages to track losses gains in my case

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/01/2020 19:12

Aldi slim well meal instead of take out and it was lovely. 238 over as had an untracked cuppa and a matlteasers bar. Missed protein today too. Ok for the week though

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/01/2020 07:01

Sts today. Gym later

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/01/2020 07:04
