wolf well done, cereal must suit you!

life top up shop? I read one time that you should buy what you want to eat in shopping regardless of expense because if you buy it out it'll cost you more, if that makes sense. Could you make your own own bacon rolls, so you get same effect for less?

Wolfcub · 08/01/2020 11:55

Crumpets and marmite for breakfast. Cuppa soup and ryvita with lf cream cheese for lunch. Had to have lunch early as I have back to back meetings now until the end of the day which will not help as I will be hungry later.

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2020 12:21

wolf I'd be starving if I only ate that but I don't drink hot drinks which I'd say can fill you up too.

So far I've had scrambled egg in a pitta, melon balls, kvarg yogurt and 2 apricots and for lunch I'm having chicken with sweet potato cubes, sweetcorn and chickpeas and maybe an orange/nectarine.

Wolfcub · 08/01/2020 17:44

Happier how are you finding your new fit bit? I am somewhat tempted by the versa 2

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2020 20:31

362 over today as some one gave me chocolate buttons and that set off a binge.

Steps done though.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 08/01/2020 22:38

Evening all!

Weight today 12s2lb
Steps 15644
Food
B- coffee and cereal biscuits
L- KFC vegan burger, fries and Pepsi (I left my lunch in the fridge this morning and only realised when I was half way to work and didn't have time to go back!).
But the vegan chicken burger was good!
D- Mediterranean vegetables in wraps with hummus and salad. A coffee and chocolate mint thins.
Had at least a pint and half of water today.
Will try better tomorrow!

Wolfcub · 09/01/2020 06:06

Up 1/8th. In the office today so that's always difficult food wise although at least the kitchen cupboards aren't there to tempt.

Pilates later

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2020 06:28

Sts today.

Walk to work and back though it is raining. Fbw later as well.

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2020 06:28

Will reply about Fitbit when I get to work wolf

Down another 1.1lbs today GrinGrinGrin
My average is down 1.2lbs for the week so far Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2020 07:26

Well done happier

Not2bObvious · 09/01/2020 07:32

That’s great happier, I’m playing around with .2 up/.2up/.2 down at the moment - still looking at .9 down overall. Going out for food tomorrow, no doubt that’ll show up to freak me out on Saturday weigh in

I just did yoga yesterday. Today I'll do a tabata then yoga. Ds has football later so I'll be able to do it then.

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2020 08:03

Overall I'm looking at 1 down so far. The Garmin app isn't very intuitive and I've been kicked out of the other for not paying my renewal. .

Not/ happier what apps are your tracking weight on? Fitbit?

Not2bObvious · 09/01/2020 08:09

Fitbit here - but I believe happy scales is good too? Kicked out of the group you mean? I’m amazed by that I’m still under the radar obv since I never took the app

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/01/2020 08:10

Actually I’m not amazed now I think of it, that’s a way of keeping track of you (taps nose)

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2020 08:47

No just the app. Still on Facebook

Not2bObvious · 09/01/2020 08:55

Right, that makes sense, keeps numbers up with no effort. Savvy

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2020 09:49

I also track weight on fitbit app, you don't need to have a Fitbit to use it.

wolf I love having a fitbit back, it has made a difference to me being accountable and made me more active. Like yesterday I came back after visiting someone in hospital and all the way home I was to-ing and fro-ing between have I time to walk the dog or not, and it's not worth my while/it's raining/I'll get up in the morning/I could make my dinner instead went through my head. But I want to keep my step average up, so I threw on leggings fast and walked for 20 mins with dog, increasing my steps by 2k for the day and getting me fresh air and listened to more of a podcast too. I also love the sleep tracking function.

My old fitbit was old and didn't have the functionality that this one has, but it was enough for what I needed ifywim. Plus this one is very modern and feels like more of a showpiece. Old one had benefit/disadvantage of having a bright light so I could use it to get to toilet at night, this one doesn't!

To conclude, I'm glad I bought it, but also glad that it was on sale too so it wasn't a massive splurge €120.

Still on facebook group here too

WreckTangled · 09/01/2020 15:06

Eugh. The weather is so awful I just want to sit in my pjs. I should do weights as it's been two days but can I just do yoga?! I promise I'll do weights tomorrow....

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2020 15:31

Course you can wreck

Not2bObvious · 09/01/2020 15:34

No objection from me wreck, I can’t even summon the energy to take the new 5kg dumbbells from my car. If anyone saw me in the shop earlier struggling to get them to the checkout & then car must have been thinking I was suffering from delusions of strength

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2020 17:10

Doing yoga is better than nothing

Wolfcub · 09/01/2020 18:44

Thanks Happier, I've ordered one I had a reward voucher from work and some Christmas money so that covered most of it.

Food - crumpets and marmite, chicken mayo sandwich, cereal. Will have some toast and humous when I get home from Pilates

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2020 19:40

Perfect wolf enjoy it.

I was wondering what to have for lunch tomo, I've cold chicken cooked, maybe I'll do chicken mayo pesto, spinach, tomato sandwich inspired by you!
