Thanks life, that's good to know, not really sure yet, just looking at finances and seeing if I can afford it. But my friend mentioned about us (me and the youngest two), going away with her and her lot abroad, there would be a lot of us, so the cost would just be split equally.

But if I did do a hostel, I think I would stick to the UK first, maybe Wales?

Weight sts.
Doing lots of tidying and decluttering today, feels good!

Not2bObvious · 31/12/2019 14:51

Majority of decorations down - 1 tree and some outside decs to go but it feels better already. A good hoover and take all the cards down next, work up a sweat😬
Off out tonight for a family new year meal, looking forward to it. Doesn’t feel like the end of a decade, doesn’t feel like NYE!

One tree? How many do you put up not? Grin

I've just spent €120 on a Fitbit versa lite.
Bought a new cover for charge hr & it's not nice & I broke a piece off too & superglue May or may not fix it.
I'm three weeks without it& my activity levels have definitely fallen, partly due to time of year.

Been swimming with dc & now walking dog & off to fireworks after a little while.
Prawns defrosting for quick dinner when we get in

Happy New Year everyone xx

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/12/2019 18:33

We haven't done Wales. There is currently 25% off bookings. May work out just as much going abroad by the time activities are factored in.

Lovely Indian takeaway, after 8s and alcohol free cider.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 01/01/2020 00:12

Happy New Year to you all x

Hope 2020 brings you everything you want and need x

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/01/2020 07:44

Happy new year.
Here to the year we smash our goals.

Starting tomorrow for me. Grin

Not2bObvious · 01/01/2020 08:35

I wish I’d been on the alcohol free cider....
Happy New Year!!!!
Head thumping. Got half dressed for a walk but got back into bed and hoping for a couple hours more sleep. We had 3 trees happier, albeit 1 big, 1 small and 1 tiny in the girls room - been up since the 1st Dec so had enough. But I’ll leave the big one for another day or 2 (cause the whole family are calling me grinch!)

Not2bObvious · 01/01/2020 14:56

Woohoo curvy, that’s a brilliant start to the year!
Back from a long walk, cooking a big roast dinner, hope to feel human shortly😂

Happierwithouthim · 01/01/2020 22:56

Woohoo curvy
I'm delighted with today's steps. I'm going to set the bar at 7500 daily average & work from there.

I've not tracked today's food but it was two high protein low calorie meals so I figure I'm good

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2020 08:27

Walked to work. Lunch and breakfast tracked. Cash in hand for gym.
Feel very bloated

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2020 08:45

Quick jog this morning and scales still up very high, hoping today’s the day I’m back to normal even though I’m not technically back to work until Monday. Off to the cinema this morning hence trying to get a chunk of steps done, nearly 7,000
Food planning, aiming for high protein

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 02/01/2020 08:58

Life you enjoyed your holiday & you're back on track

Not enjoy cinema

Glad I did long walk with dog last night because it's raining now

Haven't gone on scales yet

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2020 16:06

Trying not to be an emotional ass about the high weight this morning so I’ve input it and I’m .1 over Sunday’s average so 2.9 up over the last 10 or so days. Brought my cals back down to 1700.
Cinema was great thanks happier, good job getting the walk in. It’s a bit miserable here this afternoon, watching weight loss programs for inspiration😂

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2020 17:12

Me too not.
Walked to work but not back. 9000 steps so far. Ease in gently

Happierwithouthim · 02/01/2020 18:02

Day improved so myself & dog got out again, will have to go early tomorrow or bring dc so think I'll go early Wink

757/1600 so far today

I've input all my weights just going to do it and keep it real

Got good news today house sale is going ahead I'm ecstatic Grin

Not2bObvious · 02/01/2020 18:18

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/01/2020 18:31

Fab u lous happier

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 02/01/2020 21:51

Hello!
Today I took the cat to have his op, he is ok, they removed the lump and he has a nice row of stitches, he needs to go back next Monday to have them removed.

So I didn't weigh today because I woke up a bit late, plus I have been sorting out the bathroom and the scales were in DS room.
Had to get to the vet very early too.

Anyway steps today were good 18514.
Food choices not so good
B- Coffee
When I got back into town, coffee at Costa and a vegan cookie
Bag of rib n saucy niknaks
Bottle of flavoured water
D- spring roll, chips and a large glass of coke
Then coffee a bit later.
Definitely excepting my weight to be up again tomorrow, my own fault really.

Well done everyone, you are smashing it!

Happier, so pleased for you!

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2020 06:09

1/2 down this morning I think I can't read the scales well as the bathroom light is broken

Not2bObvious · 03/01/2020 06:12

That’s an impressive amount of steps curvy, glad your cat got sorted and he’s ok. If you are up, it’ll just be salt/food in your system. I’m down 1.4 today from yesterday’s high so average is back on a par with Sunday and 2 weigh ins to go. I think I’m going to treat today like a weekday, no special dinner, no wine! I have a chicken & mushroom dinner that has great macros in the freezer, will have that with a load of veg.

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/01/2020 09:24

Well done guys!
Definitely a day of veg here too! I'm going to see if I can make some soup for next week for work too, have loads of veg and would be a shame for any of it to go to waste.

I'm up a pound, but that's ok, lots of water today, it's like I can feel the salt!
I'm back to work on Monday and always eat better when my routine is normal.
But will start making healthy choices today!
