I hope you get another opportunity next year life, I try (don’t always succeed) to see some positive in even the negatives. You didn’t get what you wanted but you’re up & looking at how to improve for the next time. You gave it a shot which increased your chances by 100%
Still not dropped the bloat fully but that’s a lot to do with eating all the bread the last 2 days I reckon. Did 30 mins jog/walk on treadmill, then a brisk 20 mins around the housing estate near my work, nearly 8,000 steps. Average still up by .6, just need a couple of low days to get a maintain which will do.

Life sorry to hear that, can you get advice from work on why you didn't get called or is that a possibility?

The house with glass in cupboard with my maiden name on it has sold again but sure if it's for you it won't pass you. Hmm

Went to weigh this morning, one notch lighter on my belt, weighing scales was missing, presume au pair has it she's not travelling until tomo eve though so no weigh in for me. I'll record tomorrow's weigh in for today.

Giving circuits a skip tonight, only back eating properly today so want to mind myself

Not2bObvious · 18/12/2019 16:23

That’s a pity happier, hard to find a good property, I would love to move but there’s only 2 areas my other half will consider and houses never come up in one & rarely in the other. Need to make up my mind to keep looking or make peace with my current house and do it up.
Lot of running around today, tired and hungry. I’ve eaten my dinner as I missed lunch, still starving. Over 13,000 steps. My sickly one has a chest infection, on the anti-b’s, hoping she improves soon. Poor pet is very washed out

Yes, everything happens for a reason. Your prefect house is out there
I will get some feedback.

Great nsv happier.
Steps and food got today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/12/2019 20:00

I'm a mars bar over cream over.

Not2bObvious · 18/12/2019 20:09

Was that a mars bar ice cream or really a mars bar over cream life😂 Either sounds lush. I’ll be seeing another high weight tomorrow I reckon, very carby evening & I feel bloated to feck

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 18/12/2019 20:14

Mars bar ice cream
Twas lush.

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/12/2019 20:15

166 Cal over

Happierwithouthim · 19/12/2019 06:20

Got good news yesterday too got approved for my mortgage in principle

Au pair still hasn't returned the scales so no idea what I weigh searched the entire house for it last night, she wasn't in.
Will need to get it before she goes I couldn't do two weeks of not weighing.

I fell into tub of celebrations last night, decided because I could eat again I'd celebrate pardon the pun.

Sorry to hear your dd is so sick not she'll be good for Christmas though at this stage hopefully

Life I love mars ice creams but don't like mars bars & love snickers bars but don't like the ice creams

@CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces @Wolfcub @WreckTangled where are you ye?

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/12/2019 06:46

Pleased you are feeling better happier.
Down today again

Not2bObvious · 19/12/2019 12:21

Down 1 today, average still up a little. Going to cut back on the bread today, last few days have been a carb fest.
Great news about the mortgage happier and brilliant nsv 😉 Skinny minny

Oven palava so fell into chocolate ice cream. I think I've torn a chest muscle too so should rest it tomorrow. Bet I don't

Happierwithouthim · 20/12/2019 06:22

Finally located scales(that au pair didn't have Hmm in the dresser in dining room Grin) it obviously walked itself out onto the landing, down the stairs, through the kitchen & into the dining room by itself GrinGrin
161.4 so that brings my average for the week down to +0.2lbs
Why do I never lose anything when I'm sick Hmm

Well done on losses yesterday

Last day of work for me today, I'm actually only working a half day & I start late on Fridays so it's all good Grin

Went to Burger King with dc yesterday - portions of fries there are minuscule so I don't think it's the end of the world.

How did chest muscle get torn?

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/12/2019 06:39

Half day today for a week off here too. Bacon roll breakfast and full Christmas lunch with sticky toffee pudding. Not quite sure how I'm going to track that.

I reached back to put my rucksack on to really home and felt it go in the centre of my chest. It's a bit niggly so not a full year probably more a pull.

.25 up today. Only got 11k steps in as wfh

Not2bObvious · 20/12/2019 07:35

Down a smidge but enough to bring me back to the same average as last week. I went under a few hundred yesterday although that was on my newly increased cals. WFH day here and I need to fight the urge to eat all the toast after a bread free day yesterday.
Ouch on the chest muscle life - sounds sore.

Happier, I'm still here!
Just knackered, last week of term. Making sure that all the children take home all their calendars, cards and Christmas decorations that they made, plus parties for them and they had a visit from Santa. Glad today was the last day and I'm pleased that all their profile books are up to date, so I can just enjoy Christmas with my dcs.

Hope all poorly dcs are better soon x

life I'm sorry you didn't get the interview and I hope your chest is ok?

So my weight has been going down to 12st dead and then up to 12st 2lb. So I know I won't see those 11's before Christmas, but that's ok, I will just keep trying!

Steps have been good, averaging 13,000+ each day.
Food has been a bit hit and miss though, oh well never mind Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/12/2019 20:06

My chest is ok. It's a bit twingy but I did go to the gym today.
Well over on food as Christmas lunch out with drinks. Meh. 121/2 k steps so far too.

Go again tomorrow

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/12/2019 08:47

Up today by 1 but not surprised.

Not2bObvious · 21/12/2019 12:03

Down by .2 and average down by .2, that’s probably going to be my last weigh in this week as out to dinner tonight. No intention of upsetting my fragile weight mind

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/12/2019 14:14

Great curvy those two weeks in mid December are so tiring aren't they.

My mother's scales is dead so I'm just going to count a sts for this morning

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 21/12/2019 18:33

Yes they are happier!

Glad to hear you're feeling better life.

Enjoy your meal not.

Steps yesterday and today over 20,000, so at least that is something!

My eldest is home from uni, we went to meet her at kings cross and spent a bit of time having a wander round.
I'm so glad she is home for Christmas.

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2019 07:10

Thanks curvy, lovely family meal and I was very reserved with my drinking so while I woke stupidly early (5.30am!!) I was in bed before 11.30pm and I’m not feeling any I’ll effects. Went over my around 500 but still doing well over the week calorie wise. Might weigh in soon but if it’s a bloat weight it ain’t being recorded.
Is everyone set for next week? I’ve 95% of what I need, just have to get the perishable food tomorrow/Tuesday. Don’t know what to eat today, had gorgeous roast dinner last night and of course Christmas Day is another roast dinner. Kind of fancied beef but I think I’d have roast overload! Might get some steaks 🤔 Fridge full of food & nothing to eat for today & tomorrow

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 22/12/2019 07:29

Yep bloat of 2.6, sod that!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/12/2019 08:21

Sts today but have stopped tracking food as makeing bad choices. 3 mars ice cream anyone.
Going to get off my ass and walk to the gym in a bit for the only cost I can do in the next week until Saturday.

Getting Sainsbury's delivery tomorrow with perishable. Meat collection Tuesday.

In going to try and not go to mad but accept if I do it will be off within a couple of weeks in January.

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2019 09:56

Weighed again after walk - I know totally ridiculous, but that brought it down to 2.2 bloat. Put it in Fitbit and I’ve maintained for this week, I’m good with that. Nearly 10,000 steps done so that’s a positive too. Although I did bring home corn snacks and tortilla chips alongside my steak. Need to make a plan for the next 7 days and stick to it. Cinema tomorrow afternoon, parent coming to stay from Christmas Day through to Stephens Day. I’ll put my cals up to maintenance and work on keeping steps at 12-15,000.
I’m protecting this 8lb loss wholeheartedly (from highest to lowest, technically only 4.5 by average)
