It used to be raspberry magnum talk that killed me happier😂 Chocolate is on my mind daily, allow myself a small bar some weekdays (now I’m in the zone, before it was a free fest)

I was interested in curvys 7 snacks box & bought myself a few of those graze boxes on Sat in Lidl and two packs of protein balls with a half an idea of starting one for myself. I ate the protein balls Sat/Sun and didn't look at the other things since.

I'm not great at restricting myself with chocolate - however I manage with the Breyers Hazelnut Choc vegan icecream to restrict myself to 120cals so it's a better option for me.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/09/2019 18:02

Mmm chocolate. Thankfully raspberry magnum have not been on offer recently so none here... Too tight to pay full price. I had some of my favourite chocolate last week and was meh about it. This is a massive step forward for me

Trying Ariel yoga tonight. Will report back.

Not2bObvious · 04/09/2019 19:20

When I saw Ariel yoga, I had a vision of people dressed as mermaids doing yoga😂
Had a cookies & cream magnum on hols, yummy

Hi all. Super busy with work, home visits and kids back to school.
Well done not!
Hope your mil starts to feel more like herself soon life, and remember to look after you too Flowers.
Happier I'm glad my idea helped you, that is good going, I probably would have eaten it all in two days!
Steps have been good the last few days all hovering around the 15000 mark.
Food not to bad, trying to take lunch with me and making good choices.
I have paperwork to do so will pop on tomorrow

northender · 04/09/2019 19:53

We'll, after eating my bodyweight in cake, pizza, meals out & alcohol over the past 2 weeks, the scales have stayed the same! Feeling ready to eat healthier & exercise again.

Happierwithouthim · 04/09/2019 23:26

Ok just thinking I've probably had something every day all the same!
Split a quarter bottle over two nights Grin

8/9km run this evening Fitbit & runkeeper don't tally so will map it on map my run tomo Grin

curvy it's a great idea

North you're a legend HaloStarHalo

Happierwithouthim · 05/09/2019 06:21

158.5 this morning on track to lose 1.5lbs this week at this rate

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 05/09/2019 06:33

Great going north!

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/09/2019 06:48

Well done North.
Best going happier too.

In still yo yo around the same lb.
Ariel yoga - didn't like. Felt motion sick, didn't feel like I worked any muscles and too much hanging upside down. Will give it one more try as paid for 5.

Wolfcub · 05/09/2019 07:08

1lb off. Pilates later

Well done North, Not & Happier

Happierwithouthim · 05/09/2019 08:16

wolf great going

life if you don't like it you don't like it.

My route was 9.17km so Runkeeper was more accurate than fitbit. It took an hour

Not2bObvious · 05/09/2019 08:18

That’s incredible north, that’s living the dream!
Nicely under 160 happier, 1.5 would be brilliant, well done on the 1lb wolf.
Great stepping curvy, between that and keep the food in check it’ll pay off in no time.
What you doing now life, maintaining or looking for a loss?
I’m up .2 this morning as no poo, sorry to be rude but I feel I must explain😂 On the positive side it means yesterday’s low wasn’t a fluke. I’m at a 2.1lb loss on last week but it can all turn around as we know on the weekend. I’m over to my bff for a sleepover tomorrow (40’ish going on 14 haha) but I know what we’re eating so hope to be controlled to a degree, then company for dinner on Saturday. I’ll do my best, although totm is looming so I might be tested. Best go M&S for emergency strawberries!

I'm motivated by the weight loss thanks to keeping on top of my macros/steps/sleep/water/cals etc
However I never ever use Team RH group, should I just quit it and save myself €4 a month, I'm slow to in case I fall off the wagon because of doing this Hmm

Happierwithouthim · 05/09/2019 08:19

0.2 is nothing great that low weight wasn't a fluke not
Sleepovers as adults are great too Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/09/2019 15:09

I want a loss but need consistent data to show the coaches. Also knocking the binges on the head which I have now done by having more calories.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/09/2019 15:50

Not sure happier as in having the same dilemma.

Not2bObvious · 05/09/2019 18:05

If bingeing is a concern life, would you maybe try cut 100 a day and see how that goes for a week? See more whether you can cut without it sending you off the rails, then week 2 go 150-200. I don’t know with more complex issues like that if you can conceivably get 3 weeks consistency. I do remember from a long time ago RH saying that a lot of what some people feel is bingeing is really over restrictiveness resulting in frenzied eating - that’s been my issue in the past for surs

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/09/2019 06:43

O will drop 100 next week I think. I never used to restrict it is pure greed/emotional eating.
Tired today so going to have a carbs day. I find I over eat protein in the week to the detriment of carbs. I find catching up on a Friday stops the weekend binge.
Don't ask about the sugar though ssshh

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2019 06:58

That sounds like a good plan life, like a mini carb refeed to set you on the right track for the weekend.
Down 1.4 this morning, I’m 3.2lb lighter than last Friday. I’d say after this week it’s going to slow down - I’ve probably gotten all the low hanging fruit, aka the holiday bloat, easy’ish to drop if you properly put your mind to it. I’d say I’ve been eating around 1500 a day on average so I have a few hundred extra cals for the weekend. Trying to keep my weekly average to 1750. I tried 1600 last week but it ended up being 1750 so I reset for this week. My friend isn’t a big eater so I’m hoping that’ll make my sleepover less damaging on the waistline.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/09/2019 08:29

Pretty much not. I just make sure the weekly average is fine. I should be more balanced every day but don't have the head space at the minute

Wolfcub · 06/09/2019 08:45

Up 2/8ths

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2019 10:48

I think that’s a good plan life, we’re not machines, some days are busier/hungrier than others so of course they’ll vary - at the end of the month it should all balance out. I think daily weigh ins can skew that, so you have to look at the bigger picture

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 06/09/2019 12:04

When I was binging and approached the coaches they upped my calories by 200 and after a week and a half when binges had stopped and weight was creeping up, I talked to them again and went back to my 1600 again.

sts again this morning, bringing my average down by 1.5lbs compared to last week.

Missed dinner last night though - had planned takeaway for au pairs birthday, she didn't fancy it so we went out for dessert & I didn't have dinner, ate a protein bar later (fulfil hazelnut whip) and went to bed because alternative would have been scoffing and it was midnight!

not I couldn't manage the inconsistency that you do but it works for you.

Got out for the duration of two songs walking with dog this morning so it was a boost to my steps and I'll get my 10k today

My running partner sprained/broke her ankle last night SadAngry

Not2bObvious · 06/09/2019 12:56

Ahh but it’s consistent inconsistency happier😉 Sure I’m always like this, I just ate too much during the week & even more at the weekend. Now I’m eating a fair bit less daily and eating only a bit more at weekends. I’m only in my second weekend & tonight will be a challenge. Your poor friend! Ouch, that sounds so nasty, I hope it’s just a sprain?
