Hi all,

Starting this thread as I’ve started the Blitz today. Will probably just be posting to keep myself accountable but would love to hear about any tips or advice so feel free to join in if you are also starting this or have done it before!

I’ll be doing this over Easter which will be tough but I can’t keep putting it off so on it from today! Smile

I didn’t do yesterday’s HIIT yesterday, I had a really long day at work and isn’t get back until after 8pm. I avoided pizza and alcohol at an after work event so ate when I got home. Food wise I was ok but just didn’t have time for the workout.

So I did it this morning, considering it was non-stop cardio I actually felt ok! I think if I’m feeling energetic I might do my Insanity dvd later on to make up for yesterday. And will have to do the optional workout tomorrow as going out for lunch.

@imnottoofussed how are you getting on?

@RiojaHaze how about you? Are u feeling better?

Hope everyone else who is on the plan is ok and doing well, let us know how you’re finding it! X

Hello!

We're all recovered now, whole family hit by a nasty tummy bug!
I've had a lot of social things going on which makes it hard to stick to but I've been having a smaller than usual amount and sticking to gin or vodka and soda and I've still lost!
I only have 1 week left it going to keep at it in the week and relax at the weekends a bit to make it more sustainable.

Anyone got breakfast ideas that are quick apart from the nuts and yoghurt?

Did you all see the lady on Instagram yesterday? Bloody amazing results!

RiojaHaze · 06/04/2018 09:49

Just saw your results! Amazing!

ChippyTea16 · 06/04/2018 11:57

Thanks @RiojaHaze, I fear ive undone it all this week tho haha! Struggling to keep it up, just don’t like the food options and less energy this week. Still got a week to go tho so will just keep going.

Glad you’re feeling better as well! I’m the same, need to find ways to make this sustainable in the long run.

Instagram woman did look amazing! My stomach doesn’t seem to have reduced at all although I think she was on week 7. No way I can keep this going after 4 weeks so need to work out what is best to do x

Oh and I have the breakfast shake on high fat days - choc protein powder, Greek yoghurt, peanut butter and almond milk. Yummy and filling!

Can I ask what everyone's starting weight was and what you would like it to be at the end of the four weeks ? What is your long term goal ? Only if you want to of course .

Since my blip on Saturday I have got back on track , however I am only eating when I am actually hungry and sticking to the foods she suggest so having roast chicken with salad or broccoli etc this is far more realistic for me.

A lot of Chloe videos say that after the four weeks to make it realistic for what works for you . You know that high fat high protein makes you feel fuller for longer and working out 5 days a week does work .

I don't like carb cycling so will be having one cheat meal a week type thing after the four weeks.

For me I started at 10.7 stone I would be so happy to be 10 stone at the end of this ...long term goal is to be fit and healthy and have lower body fat ...I say lower body fat because once you gain muscle you weigh more 😩😂

imnottoofussed · 06/04/2018 19:45

@ChippyTea16 doing very badly. I've given up and will start again on Monday. I've had no will power, two birthdays, a works night out and Easter, plus time of the month. So I'm currently 2lb heavier than when I started Grin

MunchkinJess · 08/04/2018 08:11

It's very quiet on here as of late

How is everyone getting on ? Struggling or cruising ?

ChippyTea16 · 08/04/2018 09:33

Struggling! To be honest this whole week has been pretty bad. Well, meal wise I’ve done ok and I’ve missed one workout but snacking has crept back in.

I’m going to make a big effort for this last week though. I was going to squeeze in some extra workouts but I’ve had a lot on this week and I just thought you know what just relax and don’t beat yourself up about it. I’m never going to have a 4 week period where I have nothing going on, that’s life so I’m just doing what I can. That being said, here are some of my ‘wins’ this week:

-avoided free pizza and alcohol at a work event on Thursday, drank water instead
-ordered a beef salad yesterday at my mums bday pub lunch
-didn’t have cake afterwards at home like everyone else
-cellulite seems to have reduced on my thighs yay!

I’ve not been perfect this week, I’ve had chocolate and toast (!!) when I shouldn’t have but you know what, it made me feel bad. Not just guilty (although I don’t believe any food should make you feel guilty for eating it), actually bad like I was in a bad mood afterwards and felt shit. So maybe this is a turning point for me that I actually realise the wrong food choices DO have a negative impact on how I feel. Hoping in the future I can say no less often!

Going to relax today, do some food prep and try and get my mind ready for this last week!

How’s everyone else getting on? X

@ChippyTea16 if it's any consultation I told you about my blip last Saturday at a babyshower where I ate carbs and sandwhich blah blah and tons of chocolate . Anyways the next day I felt absolutely awful literally stomach cramps and all! ! Normally when I fall off the wagon I carry on till I get to a train wreck lol but on Sunday I felt so bad that I just got back on it !

I have been on track since Sunday just not having the snacks as I am just not hungry enough for them and I weighed myself yesterday and I am down half a stone since I started this even with the blip ! I did an extra workout yesterday . I feel great and defo want to keep this going . I am not looking forward to carb day tomorrow but I am just not a fan of them etc

I think having that blip set me back on a good mindset that like you said that unhealthy foods really do make you feel awful etc

ChippyTea16 · 09/04/2018 08:24

Hi all, maintain this morning which I feel great about given I was convinced I’d gain after the week I’ve had. Spurred me on for this last week so just need to get on with it. It will be over before we know it!

Good luck to everyone on the plan or re-starting it this week! X

PookyBoo77 · 09/04/2018 18:56

Hi everyone, I’ve just started the plan today and have really enjoyed the meals! I had the Greek yoghurt bowl for breakfast, the courgetti bolognaise for lunch and the peanut Butter Chicken Stir Fry for dinner. I’m feeling very hungry 😢 but am trying to drink lots of water. I didn’t have the best start to this body blitz as I slipped and fell down the stairs at home this morning so unfortunately they’ll be no exercise for me tonight as my backs in agony and can’t bend at all let alone squat. Hoping it will ease tomorrow so can get on it. Anyone else started or restarted today? X

ChippyTea16 · 09/04/2018 21:37

Hi @PookyBoo77 welcome to the group and congrats on getting started! Hunger is totally normal for the first few days so just power through and it will get much easier! Really good u like the meals tho, makes it easier to prep in batches!

Sorry to hear about your back, if it’s not right I’d say don’t do the exercises as they are very high intensity cardio especially in the first week. You will still see results just doing the food I’m sure so don’t start the hiit until you’re ready. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery for you!

PookyBoo77 · 09/04/2018 21:56

Thank you @chippyTea16 I’ve had a hot water bottle on it all night so hoping that helps, still can’t believe I did it!

Yea I’ve batch cooked my lunches for the week as I work in an office so being prepared avoids temptation :) I feel quite low in energy atm so I’m hoping that soon passes. Am embracing the challenge though. How are you finding it?

MunchkinJess · 09/04/2018 22:14

Today's workout I found really really tough , doubt I'll be walking much tomorrow lol

Didn't weigh myself today as I started my monthly and I know ill be up a couple
Of lbs .

Only a few more days left ladies

ChippyTea16 · 10/04/2018 10:46

@MunchkinJess yesterday’s workout was tough I agree! Legs are feeling it today! Not long to go and my pmt has also started so not sure next Monday is a good day to weigh haha! Will prob go off inches lost instead.

@PookyBoo77 how are you feeling today? Honestly I’ve had my ups and downs. The first week I felt sick and weak a lot and struggled with the meals (I don’t like eating veg and I was a total carb monster before so I struggle with no carb meals). However I have managed to do the exercises which I’m flad about. On the whole I feel more energetic now and although week 3 was a bit shit for me (lots of snacking crept in), I do feel better for doing the plan.

From next week I think i’ll Just try and adopt a healthier approach I.e. stop snacking on rubbish foods, be consistent with exercising, drink lots of water. Il prob do week 1 every few weeks but I don’t think il be doing this plan for weeks on end if I’m honest. I’m actually trying to get out of the cycle of ‘dieting’ (I’m always on some plan or other) when really I just need some self control not to eat chocolate and crisps every day. Feeling confident at the moment and def looking forward to being able to eat pasta again haha! X

PookyBoo77 · 10/04/2018 20:25

Hi @ChippyTea16 I am feeling better today thank you, not so hungry or weak though I am feeling quite bloated from all the water drinking! Not managed to do the workouts yet as I have bruised ribs and bottom from my fall downstairs which is still causing me a lot of pain 😢 but I will continue with the eating plan and exercise as soon as I’m a bit more mobile.

I think your plan re adopting a more realistic plan long term sounds good. I certainly don’t think I could do this longer than 4 weeks in its entirety though some of the meals I’ve really enjoyed and would probably keep some high fat low carb days in. I have discovered though that I was right in my belief that I don’t like sausages, never been a fan and the chicken ones are no better! X

MunchkinJess · 12/04/2018 06:19

Not sure about anyone else but I am sick to the back teeth of mountain climbers !

MunchkinJess · 13/04/2018 07:47

Only a few days left now . It's gone very quiet on here .

How are you all getting on ?

Stay strong it's just a few days to go x

ChippyTea16 · 13/04/2018 08:20

Hi @MunchkinJess sorry been quiet I’ve been ill the last couple of days with a migraine. Decreased to a banging headache today still feel like I’m going to be sick. I’m working from home today but doubt i’ll be getting much done including HIIT!

Plus pmt is here so don’t even want to weigh on Monday! Eugh.

I’ve decided to try and adopt the high fat concept as much as poss, keep up the exercise but have nice carb dinners - miss pasta so much! And then every few weeks just do week 1 for a boost.

I absolutely hate mountain climbers too - would rather do burpees and I never thought I’d say that! X

@ChippyTea16 tomorrow is results day for me . I plan on doing my photos , measurements etc tomorrow having the day off and then starting cycle two on Monday .

Good luck to everyone x

ChippyTea16 · 14/04/2018 18:48

Good luck for tomorrow @MunchkinJess! What are you planning for your cheat meal/day?

I might do the same, my period is going to skew my results anyway so may as well just track it.

I won’t be doing cycle 2 but will write out a similar plan and exercise regime and do weekly weigh ins.

Good luck to everyone else on the plan too! X
